The store in Dothan needs some serious help with customer service . I only saw 2 people working and neither of them were polite . They acted like I was bothering them when I asked if they had something I needed. Not a good experience at all. Hope they hire more happy staff.

Went into store to buy a display case. In store 69.99 on line 34.99. Made sevetal attempts to buy online with same day pick up and it wouldn't process. Went inside the store again and asked if i could get the same price. Female employee stated no and thats the way it is.

I generally shop for art supplies, mainly canvas when they're on sale. Coupons are available online. Most weeks there's a 20 to 30 percent discount.

We've found many unique items at this store over the years.
They always have specials of some of their items.
One time, they had t-shirts in many colors for around $2 each.
Another time, it was candles at a very low price.
If you do Crafts, this is comparable to a candy store for kids, except Michaels is the "candy store" for adults.

One Sunday I wanted to start a new crochet project and knew Hobby Lobby was closed, so I headed over to Michael’s. I was completely underwhelmed by their yarn selection and overwhelmed by their prices. I walked out of there without yarn and waited until Hobby Lobby opened the next day. I will say that, unlike Hobby Lobby, they did carry Clover hooks, so that was greatly appreciate as I didn’t want to wait for one to arrive via Amazon. Other than that, I recommend heading over to Hobby Lobby for anything craft related.

Sufficiently stocked. Didn't see an employee if I happened to need help. Had to wait a minute for the cashier to put her phone down to ring my items up. She didn't say hello, how ya doin', have a good day, thanks for shopping with us, nothing . Just handed me my receipt and went back to her phone. They could definitely work on customer service.

The older white lady who I assume is some kind of management working at the front has a serious attitude problem . I went to pick up a frame I had ordered through online pick up. Got it out to the car and noticed it had a huge crack on it . Took it back inside and told the lady it had a crack on the glass . She snapped at me and told me that’s plastic not glass , and to go get what I need and waved her hand off . I’m practically disabled and can’t walk very well and the reason I do online pick up is so i don’t have to walk all over the store .
