We had two adults and two kids. Was a little over $50 to eat, so price is pretty good.

Good music playing, friendly server. Konner was our server, kept checking on us, we didn’t wait long for him, all orders were correct!

We had the red elephant burger, BLT grilled chicken sandwich, kids chicken tenders and kids cheeseburger.

The only complaint about food is- the chicken tenders were hard as a rock. The rest of the food was amazing.

The atmosphere was pretty cool with all the different paintings. Only bad part there was, the carpets had trash that hadn’t been cleaned yet.

The waitress brought wrong drink order asked to fix it and we had to ask again she finally brought it. She was also on her phone in between tables. Now the food… the Caesar salad dressing had a fishy taste. The pizza was just ok. We had a lot left over so took it home. Regretting that now! My kids wanted to eat it for breakfast. I took a bite and went to chewing and to my surprise it had plastic in it. So in the trash it went.

Ordered Garlic Bread and the BBQ Chicken Pizza. I was not overly impressed. The garlic bread was the most disappointing. Very small portion for the price, not a lot of garlic flavor. The white sauce that came with it helped but very disappointing.
The pizza was ok. The BBQ sauce was too sweet for my tastes, but other May like sweeter sauce. The crust was relatively bland.
Service was good though.
Overall, would not go back.

We haven't been to a Red Elephant before. They have a diverse menu with GF options. The service was great. The big problem is if you don't like soda cracker thin crust pizza, then this is not the pizza place for you. However if you like super thin crust you might love it. So bad. Chicken pasta yaya, was chicken over cold pasta. Signature pizza was fresh out of the freezer...flat dough (no rise whatsoever) with pre-prepped food service delivery truck toppings. Ultra, super low-effort food. Decent service. Dead atmosphere but it was lunch time and the place was empty. Should have done a 180° upon walking in to no customers and a mute hostess. Laughably bad. Regretfully, no photos.

3 years ago I came to this location and was very pleased. Today was a different story, this restaurant needs to be DEEP cleaned it was so dirty. The floors were so disgusting and the place just looked so run down. The menus need to be replaced they are gross dirty. Let’s not mention the bathrooms they were disgusting nothing was clean my husband said the men’s bathroom was just as gross. The food was just ok overall just not a place I will come back too. All I could think about was if the restaurant was this dirty how does the kitchen look!

Also waiter tried to tell a bogus story about the name and say it had something to do with the owner being from Tuscaloosa. The actual story is really sweet. Everything was sticky and fruit was canned pineapple with sliced up strawberries. They took out a lot of the healthier options except salads

Been back several times over the years. Very good food and service. People have worked here for years.
Their cheesy fries are the best in town. They do not skimp on cheese, real bacon and fries.
Always clean. Busy with to go orders but still fast service.
Compared to other restaurants in the area, they haven't changed much in years. They only have gotten better.

Good food great service. We keep coming back. Enjoy their pizza and salads. Cheesy fries are great.

January 2022: One of our few regrets on Dothan trips.

Service was mediocre. Food fell below that mark. It was all just ok. Fried green beans, the BF's pizza. All just basic off brand freezer section options that didn't taste like the price suggested. Tiny potions and plain.

We left, did our shopping and then stopped in a favorite place to grab some drinks and apps to make up for being hungry.

Red Elephant is a nostalgic place for me, I went a lot as a kid before my location back home closed down. I was excited when I moved to Dothan and saw it was still around. Their cheeseburgers and fries, as basic of a meal that it probably is, just always hits the spot for me. I’ve become somewhat of a regular and they always know to get me extra ranch for the side :)

The pizza just plain sucked. Me and my girlfriend both agreed that it tasted just like a frozen pizza. We’ve actually had frozen pizza that was better. Who ever made the pizza just didn’t care at all. They shoveled on a crazy amount of sauce that was literally overflowing off the sides of the crust. 26 dollars for the shipwreck pizza and they hardly sparred a pinch of toppings. Half the pizza had no pineapple and the other half had no pepperoni. So for 26 bucks we basically got a pizza that was 1/3 a plain cheese pizza.

We had nine in our party. Jackson was our server and he was fantastic. Very attentive and patient with the younger people in our group. The food was very good. Three had pizza, including the youngest, no complaints. Three had Pasta Ya Ya, I ordered mine with Pesto sauce instead of Alfredo sauce, and it was delicious. The older boys had hot wings and a burger. Everything was great!

Average food I'd say. The individual pizza I got was over $14 with three sparse and not very generous toppings. The pizza was very small even for an individual. It's almost like something I could make at home. At this price mellow mushroom blows them outta the park. The waitress was very nice though.

My husband and l were disappointed tonight with our meals, the garlic bread was too high for what you got. Also my husband had the Italian grinder with hardly any meat on it, again over priced for what you get. My son had a med pizza the Elephant and no mushrooms on it hardly. We will not be back.

Never been to the restaurant but I get orders delivered pretty much any time in town. I've tried most of there pasta dishes and the Roasted Cream rice bowl, the latter being my favorite. The pasta and rice bowls are great, I don't care for their pizza but the zesty fries are pretty good with honey mustard.

I rated the atmosphere two stars due to two employees having a slight disagreement in the dining area. Overall, I might give this establishment another try.

Went to Red Elephant Pizza and Grill for Dinner last night. My wife and I shared a wedge salad and Elephant Classic Pizza. The ingredients were fresh and the pizza cooked perfectly, with a perfect crunch crust. I also ordered a draft Folklore Snipe Hunt IPA, which was served in a frozen 22oz mug. Travis M. was our waiter and provided excellent service throughout our meal. Check them out for great food and service.

We used to come here often and always had great food and service but seems like it’s going downhill. After reading recent reviews about small portions I decided to get a burger. I ordered it medium well and it came out extra crispy. The patty was much thinner than I remember. I’m not sure if they decreased the size or if it shrunk because it was over cooked. Either way, it wasn’t as good as it used to be. I also noticed that there wasn’t a manager checking on people. We used to have a manager check on us every visit. To end on a positive, our waitress was friendly and attentive.

Met a friend for an early supper so the place was not very crowded when we got there, by the time we left they were getting busier. Started off with their bacon cheddar cheese fries - they were absolutely delicious. I had an Asian rice bowl, next time I'll order extra veggies, and my friend had the Yaya pasta with the tomato sauce - yummy! Travis did a great job of taking care of us.... I'll be back real soon!

This was a horrible experience and a waste of $31. It took forever to be seated because we were told tables had to be cleaned . But instead of cleaning tables the employees were standing around joking with each other . Finally got seated and our waitress was rude and short to us . Our house salads were terrible and were literally nothing but a ton of raw onions not even cut on them and about a teaspoon of ranch . Our food took forever to come and our drinks stayed empty . Our pizza came out and the bottom of it was burnt . I asked for ranch and she brought two and I found out when the bill came there was a charge for ranch . I’ve never been anywhere that charged for ranch. You should at least tell your customers this when they ask for it . Will not return

Buyer beware. Both items we purchased to eat were rung in at a higher price than they were listed on the menu (so were several other items of the people with us). When we asked about it we were told that they had not updated their menus and the increase was not that much. We asked for the manager since it was not the servers fault and the manager refused to come and speak to us.

We have been ordering Red elephant for a few years and have never been disappointed until we received our food last night. The food was good as always, but the portions were ridiculously slim. For our order to be $60+, we were really not happy with the meals. The pasta dish had hardly any noodles and a few pieces of meat, the kids meal had very few fries and the smallest chicken fingers I've ever seen. It was the same with the adult meals. Very few fries and we were always used to getting plenty of them. Needless to say we were seriously disappointed with our meals and won't be ordering again. Not a happy customer.

Waited to be seated longer than I feel like we should have bc there were only 2 groups of people already seated when we got there. When we went to order, what I wanted "they no longer had", I mean cross it off the menu or something. Then we waited 45 minutes for our food. I really just wanted to pay for the drinks at that point. The only reason they even get 3 stars is bc they have been really good past times we've been there. The wrap I ended up setting with was bland and the fries tasted like grease so totally not worth the wait! Everyone else seemed to like what they got though

Well, one employee I had a personal relationship with and he lied, stole, used my truck and messed it up and now refuses to pay rent and owed monies. The manager of the restaurant is VERY rude. I called twice to see if my friend needed a ride and she was mean, very mean to me. I asked my friend why and he said she’s mean to ALL the employees and that I believe because she was mean to me twice. I’ve had their food. It’s delicious. But as far as customer relations, you can’t pay me to go eat there. When a manager is rude on the phone twice with someone who they never met, to check on the ride status of an employee? Well. I’m great at boycotting mean people. I wish I could give 100 negative stars for the manager alone

My family and I were going to try this place on the way home from vacation and google says they closed at 9. We arrived at 8 and were greeted with nothing but a locked door. When we asked if they were open, they gave us a poor excuse of their hours being changed due to covid. Poor excuse and missed buisness. They don’t have it together and obviously their hygiene is seriously lacking in the kitchen. Their workers are constantly playing on their phones instead of helping customers.

Go here if you like cardboard with sauce and cheese on it, that’s over priced. You can get way better pizza at Marco’s.

Wonderful place to dine in for pizza. Sabrina is so nice and so bubbly, she is so awesome and a great server. They also support my favorite radio station, the Joy-FM. Thank you Red Elephant for such a wonderful dining experience. I've been out of touch for two years, I promise you it won't be this this long again.

Even teased the owner...great humor.....good food ..loved the ya ya pasta....brought guest from Florida....loved it and even they wanted a pizza to go for later....would recommend to anyone...many good choices...and saw them sanitize after every guest left a table.....five stars.....Buddy Kirkland

Not pleased whatsoever. I paid an extra $2 for pepperoni bringing the price of a 12" pizza to $12.50. When I got the pizza 5 of the slices didn't even have pepperoni. I don't know how they justify their prices but it wasn't worth it at all when you consider you could get the same size pizza with 3 toppings for $8 at pizza hut. I can't speak for all their food but I don't reccomend the pizza and based on that order alone I won't be returning. I'll post a picture and receipt if possible.

Stopped by before heading to the airport and wanted to try the pizza and it was well worth it. Really great beer selection too.
