I went there on November 11th to purchase a gift card for my daughter. The cashier checked the card afterwards to make sure the funds were on it...they weren't. She said it happens all the time so I told her to refund my money. Since I used my debit card, they said it would be a 3-5 day wait for my funds to be available. A week later, I called customer service and a very rude rep told me my bank was at fault and I needed to contact them. I called my bank who told me that there were no funds on hold for my account. I gave it a few days and called customer service back and was told the finance department is behind on issuing refunds and it would be 7-14 business days before I got my money. It's been 9 business days and still nothing. Completely ridiculous. I used to love this place for fun gifts but this is totally unprofessional. I definitely won't be back.

One of the managers was making disgusting comments to their employees. She was on the heavier side with red hair. I overheard and witnessed her tell her employees to kill themselves, making fun of their looks, telling them to shut up every time they said something, pointing out gender and saying they have no opinion. Very unprofessional and outrageous behavior. It made itself look bad and the store.

I had no idea what to buy for my friends birthday and i was so lost. However i was lucky enough to run into Brittany here and she was so sweet and tentative she asked me questions about my buddy i would never consider to think about and she helped me find the perfect thing. Brittany was so amazing and i appreciate her being there to help me

I totally understand there is a mask mandate but to be refused to do business there because I cannot wear a mask is unreal. The lady was rude about it and I explained that I would be spending my money elsewhere. I physically cannot wear a mask.

I bought jewelry from them 3 days ago. I discovered it was broken by the time I got home. I took it back with the reciept the very next day and they refused to give me my money back. Gave me a gift card. Like i paid for it with my money I want my money back. I will NOT be back and I will be telling everyone I know about it. Via Twitter, FB, Snapchat, and Instagram.

A lot of stores say that they are handicapped accessible, until you try to go through with a wheelchair and find out they arent.

However, SPENCERS IS A WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE STORE. Which also means if you are using a walker or crutches, you can move with ease through the store. And the employees that are there are absolutely wonderful at helping to get things off the shelves that I can not reach.

The store has something for everyone. And everyone can go through the store, regardless of any mobility issues.
