The wifi works pretty good. Usually a good chance of getting a parking spot if it's not to late. The fuel is way above average vs other places so I don't usually buy fuel here. It's almost .80 more than other places here in Alabama.

I came to take a shower, eat and relax after the journey. I was pleasantly impressed! The store is big and clean, the staff is friendly! I paid special attention to the shower - it was very clean, leaving a bottle of water really lifted my spirits. Plenty of parking for trucks and vans. I give this place 10 stars out of 5

Stopped long enough to grab a soda and a salad. Bathrooms were clean. Salad was fresh. Nice staff. Parking lot is a little rough. Separate entrance and exits which is super nice.

Came here for propane at 7:30am. The signs says 7am -9pm. Was told no one is certified until 8:30am. Will not return.

Truckers beware of Dothan Alabama flying j truck stop I reserved a parking spot at 2:00 on November 3rd what I did my drop I go up to the flying j to park my truck. There is no parking spots left the app said they had 15 spots available but no parking spot. Truckers are not paying for their parking! Flying j refused to get a list and remove these people. Best thing to do is stay away from pilot and flying j and especially this flying j in Dothan Alabama it's a waste of time and drop trailers are all over the lot. I gave them one star because Google won't let me give them no stars! Beware beware beware worst pilot flying j in the country.

Stopped this morning to fill up and get coffee. My biggest pet peeve at a gas station is inconsiderate jerks who think it's ok to just park at a pump and not pump. Waited about 10 minutes, saw many people go in and come out and still waiting. Said screw it, you won't get our money if you allow this. People....get you gas and move your ass so others can use the pumps. That's what they are there for. Not your personal parking place!!! 😡 Have some consideration for others.

Pilot/Flying Js are the only truck stops in America where the shower towels semi-reguarly smell like nasty funk. It happened to me today. As it turns out, I had to evapo-dry. Obviously, there are shortcuts being taken, and I suspect the towels are not being washed, only dried. This is a systemic problem. Pilot/ Flying J, you need to fix this!

This Flying J was pretty good. Bathrooms were pretty clean and the girl working the fuel desk was very nice. Our visit was on 3/4 at 2:51 said clerk 101 on the receipt but I did not catch her name. She is an asset to Flying J.

Terrible service! My boyfriend clearly told the cashier “2 slices of pizza”. After he was done checking out, he was handed the box of pizza and he noticed it was too light. He then went and told another cashier that he wanted 2 slices. The lady then proceeded to charge him for the 2nd slice of pizza for another $4.89+ tax instead of getting the deal he was supposed to get in the first place 2/$7.50. Instead of apologizing or even correcting THEIR MISTAKE, now he got charged extra for something they messed up on. Clearly terrible customer service. At this rate, he might as well have gotten a whole pizza instead.

RV parking was accessible and not clogged with truck cabs. Store clean. No receipt paper and not enough help behind the counter, especially with the lane "reserved for professional drivers" left one cashier to wait on everyone else, keep the coffee area clean and assemble the food orders.

This place sucks! Truck stops usually allow people to park and get some rest. I tried to do so before filling up and showering and I was told I couldn't park there and I had to move along by the management that came in for day shift! So I went and filled up satisfying other expenditures somewhere else! Only pilot I've ever seen do this around the Eastern half of the country (other than Miami, but it was only because they had a problem with congestion, this one didn't). Only in discriminatory Dothan Alabama!

I couldn't get pump three to work but we moved and the next one worked fine.
Even though gas prices are horrendous right now it's much better prices than Florida!!!

Showered in number 5 this morning 05/06/22 and it was one of the cleanest Flying J showers I've seen in a long time. So glad to see the restaurant back open 24 hrs too. The restaurant was really great this visit also. Dothan Flying J has really stepped up please keep up the good work I'm thorough here alot and can see the improvement.

Expensive, nice sized area, decent bathrooms, but friendly staff, Denny's messed up food order. Ordered a CHEESEBURGER, got a Double Bacon Cheeseburger with no lettuce, onions, or pickles an greasy as heck. Fries was hot at least. And was expensive as all get out. If wanted a DOUBLE BACON CHEESEBURGER I WOULD HAVE ORDERED IT. SO for service I would give it a 1 nothing else. Took an hour to get food an was incorrect.

Clean, has hot food, cold food, ice cream, drinks of various sorts. Has candy, supplies, has items made for travel. Has fuel for different vehicles . I always try to buy ice cream whenever I'm there.

Pump would not take multiple cards. Go in to pay, so try to leave ID to get pump turned on since I am unsure the exact amount gas will cost. Was told have to leave card, which I didn't for security reasons. Paid $40 cash to get to the pump to see it say "Sale Canceled". Returned back into store to just get money back and clerk states huffingly, "Now you will have to wait for the manager." The way it was said I am sure the sale was canceled because of her not liking me saying I would not leave my debit or credit card inside while I am at the pump. When the manager comes to the front she is super nice and helpful and returns my cash. Would have been 1 star if not for the manager. The manager treats people right.

The restrooms were not clean nor were they tended to but the showers were very clean so I take it different people cleaned both. Im a truck driver and I appreciate clean restrooms and showers after a long day of work.

Pulled into pump 18 and noticed sign on pump stating the key pad is not working to please come inside. I go inside and give the cashier my information to get fuel at pump 18. Go back outside to fuel and the display is stating to remove nozzle (which I already had). So I go back inside and inform the cashier pump 18 is not working and I ask her to cancel my transaction so I can move to another pump. I go and pull into pump 22 swipe my card. The driver side pump did not work. The passenger side pump did work so I filled up that side. I go back into the store and ask to see the manager. I walked out to pump 22 to show the manager that this side (driver side) was not working. So now again I move to another pump since I still need to to fill my driver’s side and my reefer.
So after it was all said and done, I had to pull into three different pumps. This is not the first time I had experienced this type of pump situation at Flying J’s/Pilot.
The reason I gave one star is because the staff was very friendly when I informed them of the issues.

Worst flying j we have ever visited. First of all, there were several damaged pumps ,tamper evident sticker were broken and sketchy. They put a $151 hold for $30 worth of gas! Even Buc-ees only does $1 holds. There was also way too much traffic and not enough pumps. And we were there at ten am! Trash cans out by pumps were all overfilled with trash so much that there was litter on the ground. I understand one being like that, but all of them? That’s just disgusting. The tea pitchers that are supposed to filter were not working properly and one tea had bad foam with mold. The men’s restroom was disgusting. I didn’t even purchase anything besides gas it was so bad. I got out of there. Do not recommend. Keep driving.

This place is a joke. Maybe good for locals but OTR drivers are overlooked as they wait on locals people.
NOT A TRUCK STOP really.
Long lines with only 1 cashier and other people hanging out in the back office.

The only thing good is the guy that they have cleaning the showers. They are clean

Stopped for a quick shower and go on 10 Nov 2020. In my 29 years of OTR trucking I have never ever had a more “hospital clean” shower room (shower #2). Everything and I mean everything was dust free and dirt free and sanitized. And they had a bottle of water sitting on the nicely folded towels. Kudos to the person on shower duty that afternoon cuz it was perfect. Thanx Flying J...you are the epitome of what all J’s should be like.

This is the dirtiest truck stop I’ve ever been too. Shame on you Flying J!!!!! Absolutely no pride and no respect for the truck drivers that come to your truck stop to shower, do laundry and rest. The bathrooms are so nasty and none of the floors in the entire store look like they have mopped in years. A complete disgrace!!!!!

Next time I'm headed into Florida I'll go another 30 miles to the Loves. Bathrooms were filthy. And I politely asked if I could drop my trailer and go less than a mile down the road to Walmart. Instead of just doing as 3 other people had already done. Well I get told they will tow it immediately. Funny because those 3 trailer have been here since yesterday and are still sitting here. I guess it's there way of forcing you to buy from there when its marked up 200%. O well theres Uber. So they can't completely stop me.
