The manager Brandon needs to learn that he doesn't treat ppl bad and if he can't handle that he needs to quit. Gives me a used broken controller and lies about me purchasing a new one and says policy changed and he has right to give me used one. Brandon gets mad because I call another store I'm familiar with and asks questions. Brandon says I'm mean but yet Brandon doesn't understand I can ask questions if I want. Our 11 year old son & we as parents, always enjoy our shopping trips here. The staff is exceptional & always highly informative with any questions or concerns we might have. My favorite thing is when checking out with video games and depending on the rating & if it's rated for an older, more mature person than what our kids appear to be, than they are very quick to inform us parents on the rating and a detailed breakdown of what the video game actually entails of.

If I could give this place 0 stars I absolutely would!!! Me and my husband use to absolutely adore coming to north side dothan to this game stop! They use to greet us with a smile and a fine “how do you do” but they lacked that today with this one man who was bald and had a beard and tattoos. The moment we opened the door he was extremely rude towards us and gave us short answers when we had questions and in a rude tone at that! He was throwing stuff around too like he didn’t care. If I have to describe his customer service today the only thing he didn’t do is slap me in the face. I have never seen someone care less about their job and whether customers buy or not. His attitude is nothing more than get out the door. Highly do not recommend this place anymore and will not be coming back unless he’s off or fired

Don’t come here before close maybe even 20 minutes before close if you don’t want to be sold anything they just lock up as your walking up. Yes I did arrive a few minutes before close and it takes a minute or two walk around to the walkway as there is no direct path to your store they locked the door as I’m walking up, I knock and they said it’s 8 and that they’re closed but when I looked at my phone it said 7:58 at the front door I told them that but they still said they’re closed but you’re not a restaurant that has to make food or anything of the sorts you don’t have to stay an hour after to do a deep clean maybe some 10 minute vacuuming some slight stocking and dusting and wiped down the two registers you have but nothing that would require to close earlier and prevent a sale especially seeing a customer park and walk up. All you would have had to do is take my card and hand me the game I wanted, no labor involved. But if you wanna close at 7:58 or earlier then maybe put that as your hours not 8 o’clock. As someone who has worked retail it’s a simple and easy task to perform to make an extra sale before close.

Brian did so much to help us with everything we needed help with. At the end of the visit we were extremely happy with the service, friendliness and welcoming attitude we received. We just moved to the area so it's awesome to know we found a good local store.

Decent store, very small compared to Enterprise or even S Oates. When you go in and all of a sudden a full Saturday crowd rolls in, good luck getting out trying to navigate through the store. Also, the hours are kind of sad for a GameStop. Open late and close early.

Stopped by here last week to sell back a PlayStation 4 and a few games. The staff was helpful throughout the process and it didn't take long to check out. One thing I was not expecting was being charged to refurbish the PlayStation and controllers. It really reduced they refund and I don't entirely think it was fair. Though was asked if I was all right with the price and I did not want to sell it myself and shop around so I accepted. It is definitely more convenient to sell this way but it is not the best bang for your buck.

Kinda small as most GS stores are, but they just don't have much. Not game wise, collectible wise or anything. You can barely kill 10 minutes in there. But the guy behind the register tonight (3/12/2021) at about 5-6pm was pretty awesome.

They rip you off when it comes to trading things in no matter what it is that u want to trade in, they either do store credit or if u want cash they’ll give u $50 less than the store credit.

I go here quite a lot because it's close to my house. The staff changes regularly and you will rarely be able to build rapport with anybody in the store. Some staff can be helpful, still others can be dismissive or short with you. I often feel like I'm being hurriedly rushed out of the store.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff with a wide variety of gaming consoles and games. They even have some older games you might be looking for. Also, a good customer rewards program. The online shopping experience is great as well. They can help with literally all of your gaming needs. Would shop here even if their prices were a little bit higher because of the perks and availability.

This is one of my favorite stores to go to, the only other one that competes is in willow Grove mall in willow Grove, pa. The staff knows their games and if they don't know something, don't try to pretend they do. I almost never go to the other 2 stores in dothan. I love this store abs the staff that makes it so great

This is easily one of the better GameStops that I have been in and they really seem to know how to run the place. There have been many times where I have gone into a GameStop and been met with a big crowd of people like on Christmas Eve or the day after Christmas, and the stores would have one (ONE) person running the desk.

This particular GameStop does it right by almost always having at least two to three people at the desk, which is great when you consider that this building is smaller than the larger version in Enterprise. (And yet, that larger store was one of the ones I mentioned that doesn't seem to understand how to work during a crowd.)

This store is always clean, the displays are great, and the employees are VERY approachable and friendly. Easily, it's my favorite one in town.
