Lisa Wood helped us to design our beautiful kitchen. We shopped around and found Hoods to be very competitive in prices. Lisa was amazing! She was on top of our order, she was very patient and had great ideas for the difficult lay out of our kitchen. I greatly recommend her and Hoods if you are thinking to do a kitchen remodel. We saved a lot of money and are very happy with the results.

These are the nicest most helpful people EVER!!! We pulled in with a flat tire, they went above and beyond to help us that day. We were there to buy a new vanity and because of all their help were able to get the tire fixed and complete our purchase without it being a day long event! They didn’t have to help or even acknowledge we were in need but they did and were amazing. As long as they are in business I will buy anything I can from them.

Update 7/20/21: Upgraded my rating from 1 star to 4 star.
The granite is finally done. This has been a long (4/30/21 - 7/19/21) and at times frustrating process. However, now that it is installed we could not be happier with the final product. Got a call from Kevin (the installer) on Sunday night asking if he could come do the install Monday afternoon. Of course, we said yes. I will say Kevin and his brother did an amazing job on the install. They were very professional and meticulous. The shape of our kitchen presented a challenge with the type of granite we chose but Kevin and Kelly (Hoods) were able to figure it out and make the color flow almost perfectly. They arrived at our place around 2:00 and stayed until the job was done close to 7:00pm. I will post pictures soon but I just wanted to update my review now that the job is done. I was (and still am) disappointed it took so long but i am so glad we had Kevin and his brother do the install. So much so that I am going to ask that they come do some work on another property of ours. thanks guys.

Update 7/1/21:

Still no granite installed. Still no scheduled date from the installer. I did receive a call from the manager at Hoods which I very much appreciated. The problem is he does not control the installer. I was told over a week ago (probably closer to two weeks ago) that the measurements had been delivered to the shop so the granite could be cut, so I thought we were making progress. Then on Friday, June 25th, I called Kelly in the shop to inquire about when the granite would be finished cutting. He informed me that he still did not have the measurements. He stated that the installer had not delivered them like I had been told. I am trying to be positive about all this but I only get more and more frustrated every day. When I finally get it all installed, I will update this review with a complete timeline and names so IF you decide to use Hoods you will at least know what to expect.

Know before you buy...
Over the years we have purchased many items from Hoods and have been extremely pleased with their selection and customer service. Unfortunately I cannot say the same for our most recent granite purchase. Let me preface this review with the fact that Hoods told us up front that they did not install but they did have recommended installers. The first installer we contacted came out and measured but when it came time to actually schedule the install he fell off the radar. Had a hard time reaching him and when we did he would not show up at the agreed times. So we called Hoods and they recommended a different installer. Again, he was quick to come out and measure but getting an actual install date has been a challenge. We are currently at a month and seven days from the time he measured and don't have even a tentative date.

Tried calling Hoods to see if they could help and was just told, we only sell the granite you have to deal with the installers on your own.

So just know before you buy, Hoods is only going to sell you the granite, they are not going to do anything to help with the installation process. If I had known the process was going to go this way, I would have most likely purchased the granite from someone that had their own installers.

This whole process has been extremely frustrating.

We came to Hoods for a whole kitchen. Everything we needed was on site. We bought are cabinets and hardware, walked 70 yards bought are materials for the countertops, Walked over to modern stoneworks, met the fabricators . Hoods brought the sinks to the applicator then they took over. There was always great communication between the three teams . Great set up. Sincerely Ken and Daisy

We had a very good experience with a salesman back in the flooring dept. We needed a few pieces of split brick. He was awesome! On the other hand the girl upfront who tried to WAY overcharge us was unfriendly and had a very ugly attitude. That being said because of her we probably will not be going back.

I got a brand new set of kitchen cabinets from here. The employees were great. The prices were not as high as I expected but they were still up there. With that said the quality of the cabinets were well worth it, they were great. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. Wow, the attitudes of people working at these places. You would think they were racist. Reading the reviews from years ago you learn they are proudful of being poor or jealous of you who've come to spend your money. They aren't into sales much. Just displaying their rude attitudes, the one guy who came over. It's has if he had to. Didn't want to talk to him either but, he was just there. I do not recommend this place to people. Please support a different establishment. Let these people beg for jobs elsewhere⛈️! Honestly, if someone had a nice looking big foot bear monument that they purchased, and they told me from there, I would dislike it immediately. Don't go🪘🥁!! 🕊️

This is a great place for your inside and outside decor, fix-up and remodeling needs. The also have an on-site door shop which I've used many times for normal and special door units without any problems at competitive prices. Check them out, you'll be glad you did.

My first visit to this place of business in Foley on Hwy 59, and West Sycamore. Outside this huge business appears to be a landscapers paradise; cement blocks, river rock, fencing and all types of material to be used outside to give you that perfect look and design. Then you walk into the HUGE showroom with everything you need, or could hope for to completely re-do the inside of your Castle; lamps, tables, chairs, pictures, tile, and so much more, including lawn, and Patio furniture!
Just be prepared to spend your I want this now, dollars! A lot of the furniture; rocking chairs, tables stools, and just reclining chairs of wood appear to be custom made.
Plan on spending a lot of time at Hoods Home Center; it's worth the stop! As you are leaving the store you are greeted by one of the largest statues I've even seen! I don't know exactly what is a cross bet a yeti, and a giant ape. It's fun to visit this store!

They have a lot of stuff from landscaping to flooring to plumbing. It is hit and miss on porcelain tile. The manager there is nice and he was helpful. I thought the employees were helpful too.

Shout out to the team at Hood's for connecting us to Creative Dreamscapes Plus, Llc out of Pensacola, Florida. Ken Mathis and his team are expanding into Elberta and did an amazing job helping us redesign our entry way, our back patio, and our pool area to take care of drainage issues we were having. Our new pavers came from Hood's and the combination of material from Hood's and Ken's team were amazing. Our pool drains from the rains better than it ever has, the new backyard patio includes a small fenced in area of our dog Annie, and the new entry way was a necessity because of damage done with Hurricane Sally. Ken is professional and personal and keeps you updated on his work. Highly recommended! Thanks to Hood's for making the connection and to Ken ad the entire Creative Dreamscape Team for a great job!

Hoods is very different from home Depot or Lowe's or hardware store they sell everything for the inside of your house to redecorate or build a new home and they have very classy stuff I bought a pallet of pavers to build a patio and could not find anything decent at any home Depot or Lowe's but Hood's had exactly what I wanted and the price was very good and they delivered to my house as well

We love browsing through Hoods and shopping for odds and ends as well. Furniture is a bit high priced but very eclectic styles and definitely worth viewing for a coastal, yet classy decor. The staff is also very professional and joyful in their interactions with clients.

Fantastic people with a fabulous inventory! We searched everywhere for kitchen cabinet hardware and found exactly what we wanted at the Foley Hood’s! Jodee Houston is a pro. She gave us great advice and interesting suggestions. We showed her samples of our cabinets and she pointed us to the perfect pulls and knobs! Had an exterior pre-hung full glass door with blinds between the glass, custom built at Hoods Home Center for a very reasonable price. They did a superb job on the door build. Awesome place!! So many beautiful things to customize and decorate my home.

Not only does this place have something for everyone, I specifically went to Hood's from a recommendation for cabinets and counters.. Jennifer in the design department was excellent.. she took the time to plan out the kitchen redesign, and get me plans, parts list, and lead times for the special orders..
Will be setting up account and purchasing from Hood's for this project, and several others..
Just wish they delivered to Monroe County, but I guess that is why I bought a flatbed..

Not one person helped or ask could they help. I stood at device desk over 2 minutes and the young lady ignored me. She was talking on a radio to another guy. I stood there waited. Never acknowledge me. I had to ask her by saying excuse me can you help me. And she said we don't have it. Then I ask do you have this. No. Made me feel like get the heck outta here I'm on the phone radio ur in my way. I will never set foot in Hoods. Thank you for the hospitality the young girl gave me.

Used to be affordable with lots of tiles and home renovation stuff, but it's now mostly outrageously priced furniture. Old Time Pottery has cheaper ceramic pots, etc.

Went to get carpet squares, spent $382.57, apparently if you're spending $400.00 or less, Expect to Do lifting carpets, loading cart yourself. The employees aren't interested in helping, Do it yourself under 400 😂
