Worst service ever by this young lady with glasses.
Let’s start off with entering the store i go around go to the carrhart section and i seen her had a question on some of the items doughboys had and she’s just on her phone looking like she’s having a rough time to whoever she’s talking to and she tells me she doesn’t work there gives me the dirtiest look ever, keep in mind she does work there was just rude as duck. wasn’t my first time seeing her there as i casually shop at doughboys. as i go to checkout she’s there in the front behind the counter bagging up my items right next to the boss. was going to make a comment then n there but maybe this will be enough. everyone else was nice but who knows what she was dealing with maybe a break up id be able to see why with her rude self.

This store is amazing the staff are polite and respectful and very knoledgable in what the Costner may need for everyday use and work clothing they have a wide selection of items and I felt I was able to get everything I needed in this one stop.

This Not Not a place to shop when it comes shoes 😡 I have previously told my son never to shop for shoes at this place.

Here's Is The story>> 0n Saturday 08/28/2021 My son purchased some Anti slip & Oil resistant shoes For $248.00 Dollar From 👉 Doughboy Surplus 👈 Being that my Son works on oily slippery surfaces He purchases a pair of THOROGOOD Steel Toe Boots

On Monday the 08/30/2021 my Son was wearing his new THOROGOOD Boots but the boots didn't live up to expectations per my Son he was slipping all over the place at work with his new boots Which could have caused him a severe injury to himself.

On Tuesday the 08/31/2021 I made a call to Dougbboys and told them the issues my Son had with New THOROGOOD Steel Toe Boots he had purchase from them And how the boots were a liability.

Per Doughboys we were asked to take the shoes back and that they would Reach out to the manufacturing company would warranty the New THOROGOOD Steel Toe Boots.
Later 0n Doughboy call us back telling us There was no warranty on the $248.00 THOROGOOD Boots😡

My wife decided to call the Thorogood manufacturing and tell them the issues my Son had with his New Boots Thorogood then stated they had never received any complaints from Doughboys making claims 😡😡😡about the boots..

No Way Do You Want Give Your Money Doughboys Company That's Not Willing To Backup The Product They Sell...😡😡😡

No no puddles of oil really 🤔 0ily surfaces If they were puddles of oil the leather on the boots would have oils it get your story straight right......

This place has everything you could want from work wear, rain gear, army surplus stuff, and shoes. Prices are competitive and they have sizes most stores just don't carry in Dickies, Ben Davis, Levis and more.

Ordered online.

Called and told me they didn’t have the item in stock anymore. The. Proceed to tell me that the manufacturer replaced it with just a different style number and then told me it would be another 5$ for the exact same shirt just the manufacturer style number changed.

I asked well I mean you sold me 3 shirts you can’t even produce 2 of the three and then you want to charge me 5 more dollars for the same shirt because of your mistake ?

Nope I’m good please return my money. Won’t do business that doesn’t take care of the customer after their mistake.

Great spot! Took me back to my childhood doing doughboys shopping with my folks. Huge selection of dickies, working gear. Went to get my daughter overalls and we’re able to get her to try them on to find best fit! Worth it for that flexibility alone.

Overall a good store to shop. Most of the staff is friendly and helpful. I was annoyed with a young girl that is supposed to be helping customers. She was too busy on her phone to acknowledge me as a customer.

This place is AWESOME!!! I love going here to collect military attire as it's one of my Hobbies, my collection is slowly yet surely growing, great prices by the way!!! Will FOR SURE come back in the Future! All the employees are awesome and really nice, last time I was there, I'm not sure what her name was,, but it was a young girl with black hair (in a bun?) Had large size 52 dickies shorts, which is what came for, but no color variety.
Got a nice brown dickies pants and
Got two 3x shirts also. (All under $200, not too bad)
Unfortunately
Was disappointed with a lack of variety In t-shirts, hoodies, undershirts and underwear.

Been shopping here since I moved to Lakewood in 1988. My friend used to work here about 20 years ago. The owner is a cool dude, always treated his employees well. A good place to find work clothes, especially if you're fat like me. I will always support this local business.

I would like to highly recommend doughboys for an Amazing service and brilliant products. I Live in Liverpool UK and through excellent communication and fantastic service,doughboy were able to sell and ship som
e Wolverine Legend boots to me which I could not get anywhere in the UK or other stockists America. Other stockist seem to struggle with stock and shipping but doughboy had no hesitation on getting the items and shipping. Massive Thanks to Jodie and the staff at doughboys for a 1st class service.

After many purchases made here I finally remembered to ask for a "military discount" and immediately it was shot down by employee "yeah, no". I rate this place 2 stars because they do sale good items and also sell many military items that me being a combat veteran can approve for use by other veterans.

Not a real "Surplus" store. Little if any actual military surplus items. 90% work clothes and boots, 5% cheap low quality camping gear and 5% 1980's era U.S. military uniforms and misc. bits and pieces of kit. If you're looking for work clothes come here. If you want actual military surplus look somewhere else.
