overall 4/5 rating. Price is $33-$39 per person, latest menu is included in the review. the meats they give are big portions, especially the brisket ones. we got korean alcohol like kloud and cass, we prefer the cass. staff is friendly and will frequently check on you if you need anything. i love that they have a button where you can press and call a server. the vibes were good, music not too loud, not too hot, and spacious seating and dining. big parking lot, no issues. for the price, the meat quality is alright. will definitely come back. oh they give free ice cream after the meal, big portion too!!

After my visit last night, I can confidently say that I have added a new restaurant to my "favorites" list. Cham Soot Gol had some of the best food and service I've ever had, and it was affordable too! I visited with my friend, and our servers Angie and Brian were so friendly and helpful. They constantly checked on us and were happy to offer us tips for how to cook the meat better. They made sure we were having a great time during our entire visit and it cannot be overstated how attentive they were.

On top of the service, the food was also fantastic. I especially recommend the bulgogi and spicy pork, and make sure to ask for hot sauce! I also really enjoyed the sides they offered. I got the base all-you-can-eat package, which was $32.99, but I think I'll try the upgraded package next time, which is $38.99. We were even offered ice cream after our meal and the portion was generous. I will absolutely, 100% be back here. I was visiting San Diego for the day and am so glad I chose to try this place.

Don't let the lack of graffiti art and big screen TV's blasting K-pop fool you, this place is absolutely amazing! Phenomenal Korean BBQ with a wait staff that just keeps it coming! Everything was premium, but we particularly loved the spicy pork, garlic pork belly and the spicy tofu soup. Honestly, all the soup options were amazing. We ate more than any of us thought possible. And then they brought dessert. What an awesome start to our Knott's vacation!

Fantastic find! From the minute we walked in the door, the service was hands down on point. Wait was 5 minutes. Got seated, table was prepped with all sides. Ordered Option a. “All you can eat” Selected 4 dinner options to start and went through almost all meat options, least favorite was the chicken, but that could have been because we were already full. Everything tastes great dipped in the sauce provided… everything. Use caution, portions are hearty!! We had a blast cooking!! The garlic pork belly and thin sliced prime brisket were both amazing, well…everything was, but those were my favorites. Our server was on top of his game, refills promptly, even replaced our grill as soon as it got caked up. Extremely nice and accommodating staff. Would definitely return.

This AYCE Korean bbq spot is amazing!! The sides, the meats, the service is nothing short of what you’d expect from a Korean bbq place. The meats are good, well seasoned and so easy to cook, the sides are amazing starting with my favorites Japchae, Kimchi cucumbers and Kimchi. The favorite thing of the night was the kimchi fried rice! Blew my mind how flavorful it was, will come again in the future.

After my visit last night, I can confidently say that I have added a new restaurant to my "favorites" list. Cham Soot Gol had some of the best food and service I've ever had, and it was affordable too! I visited with my friend, and our servers Angie and Brian were so friendly and helpful. They constantly checked on us and were happy to offer us tips for how to cook the meat better. They made sure we were having a great time during our entire visit and it cannot be overstated how attentive they were.

On top of the service, the food was also fantastic. I especially recommend the bulgogi and spicy pork, and make sure to ask for hot sauce! I also really enjoyed the sides they offered. I got the base all-you-can-eat package, which was $32.99, but I think I'll try the upgraded package next time, which is $38.99. We were even offered ice cream after our meal and the portion was generous. I will absolutely, 100% be back here. I was visiting San Diego for the day and am so glad I chose to try this place.

Very disappointing experience compared to similarly priced AND cheaper kbbq options in the area. Most of the marinated meats were so lightly marinated that you could only barely taste the marinade. Usually a bad sign when bulgogi tastes incredibly close to brisket.

The grills are small and weak, and at our table we had the grill on constantly for 2 hours and most of the grill was cool to the touch. Not necessarily emblematic of all the grills, maybe our table was just a poorly maintained grill. This did mean that it took incredibly long to cook even normal portions.

While kbbq places don't specialize in sides, no salad was slightly disappointing, and including Noodles in Potato Salad was very unexpected (and not in a good way). The soups are completely unseasoned, especially the Crispy Rice Soup which is functionally no different than just dropping white rice into a bowl of hot water. Even basic seasonings like salt, onions, etc. would go a long way.

The service was better than your average KBBQ place, but the food was incredibly lacking, except the brisket, which was passable. Definitely not worth the price.

Great dining experience in this all-you-can eat Korean BBQ. We are visiting from Asia so unaccustomed to this pricing concept, but pleasantly impressed.

They have mainly two tier pricing options and we went for the higher $35 one with better meat. The marinated short ribs were great and we had extra. Also enjoyed the pork belly, baby squids, egg pot, spicy tofu soup, kimchi fried rice, and all of the ban chans. They avoid waste by asking you to order only 3 meats per round. We were even able to order smaller portions so we could try more varieties of dishes.

We love that waiters weren’t assigned to specific tables, so everyone was super nice, patient, and attentive. So easy to flag down any one of the staff as they walked by.

Was our first but won’t be our last visit!

My girlfriend and I literally came in 10 minutes before closing because on maps it said they close at 1 but found out the kitchen closes at 10pm AND they still allowed us to dine in!! AND they made sure we had enough meat to eat before the kitchen closed!! Our waiter was so nice and accommodating making sure we were comfortable and okay with everything. LA Korean bbq at this price range personally has been feeling just quite lazy with the quality of service and food and just been the same everywhere but this newer restaurant gives me hope to come back to this city more to enjoy the amazing food and service!! 🙏 AND DID I SAY ALL YOU CAN EAT TOO???

Great experience! From beginning to end! 1st timer! Food was great! The sauce they use for dipping probably the best I've tried from any Korean BBQ. Pricing is fair especially for the quality of food and service. Felt very welcomed and everyone and I mean everyone working there makes you feel welcomed. I come to this location every week sometimes twice with my wife and maybe the sister in law. The staff is amazing, friendly and we've never had a bad experience here. The food is amazing if I could I'd eat here everyday I would. If you're new to the area, on vacation, or just looking for a new place to try this is the place you'll be hooked.

AYCE Kbbq where the short rib and finger ribs are the best choice IMO to go for. The service is quick and attentive to help and the selection is good for the price point. Would definitely just go heavy on the short rib as it comes out thick, meaty, umami bomb delight to the mouth experience. It does get crowded at this location so luckily there are other locations if you need that Kbbq fix with a good group to eat with.

This is our fave AYCE Korean BBQ place. The service is great, very fast and attentive. The food is so good. I usually get the brisket and the HH gets as much galbi as he can eat. They are quick to change your grill. I love the ban chan. It's always so good and you can have as much as you want. I love their Ssamjang and kimchi fried rice. I wasn't in love with their soybean paste soup last time as it was filled with celery. I saw small signs of economizing last week and the celery-filled soup was one of them. With inflation though it's not surprising. It's hitting everyone hard. Just the price of gas for the grills must be staggering. You can also choose bibimbap or ban chan and soup if you don't want AYCE. My husband loves their ice cream and it's the perfect finish to an excellent meal. The owner/manager always remembers us and chats with us. We went to New Seoul in Garden Grove for years and the owner was always so rude to us. Chammy's always has a great vibe.

Great experience! The beef belly is my favorite. I love the side dishes as well. Could improve on checking on tables to refill waters or leave a pitcher at the table for a big party. But the servers are very friendly and helpful regardless! Pretty speedy with the meats as well. Kimchi fried rice took longer, but that makes sense. Ended up ordering double because we didn't know if it was still on the way. I imagine it's difficult for servers to remember everything without writing it down, but they still do a good job!

First time in this cham soot Gol and I got a stomach ache the meat seemed to be very old and hard and chewy not going back to this place again don’t recommend it at all the good reviews are very wrong about this place I been to a couple of Korean bbq places so far this one has been the worst the one that’s actually a bit better is the other Cham soot location

Super nice staff and good quality meat! My egg pot had plenty of shells in it (taste almost like sand…?) but the meat quality, price, and service were too good that I can’t give any less stars. Highly recommend brisket, sliced short ribs, finger ribs, and marinated short ribs.

This is one of my go-to KBBQ places. When I'm down in the OC or at KBF and craving KBBQ, I definitely will be going here. They're back to indoor dining. I did happen to experience the outdoor dining as a result of the pandemic. It was well done, out in their parking lot between the clothing store. They had the portable stoves at the tables and a huge tent. Price is average here, especially against their competitors. But I think their meats are better cuts here. I brought a friend that usually eats at GEN that thought CSG is much better in the quality of their meats and better service. And they are! The service is great here. My favorite is the ice cream! They serve thrifty ice cream. So I usually go for the chocolate malted crunch or the green tea. Pre-covid, it used to be self serve and in a cake cone. Gone are those days. They're now prepacked in single serving foam cups. Only one disappointment with that compared to pre-covid. I had asked for 2 flavors but they said I can only have one. Gone are the days of AYCE ice cream too? Noooooo! I hope it was just that server.

Came in today and it was not a pleasant visit! I enjoy the food here, but good service also matters a lot too! All the waiters who works here are all lazy and seem like they don't enjoy what they do! Never once did they bother to check to see if we wanted our drinks to be refilled, if we wanted our grilled to be changed, or if we were doing ok. For the price we paid I expected a lot more! The guy who had some girly earrings with slick back hair was pathetic and he needs to be trained properly and learn some people skills! Kids now a days should be more appreciative for what they have! I heard him talking underneath his breath and said some what seemed extremely rude when I called for his attention. He really needs to open up his ears because I had called him over a few times, but never responded once so I finally had enough so I tapped him on his shoulders to get his attention. Why do I need to do that to get someone's attention?!?! He's definitely in the wrong business!! Zero stars extremely disappointing!!

This is a very popular location. They don't take reservations so either arrive earlier in the evening for a short wait or be prepared to think of ways to kill time in between (there is not much on the lot). The staff has always been great when I go. They have a button if you need to ask for something but they come by pretty often so I haven't had to use it much. The sides are already set on the table when you arrive and you can ask for refills. The menu will also show other non-grill items you can request such as rice, an egg pot and soup. You don't get charged if you don't eat everything like at other AYCE. For the women's restroom, I would recommend going before you arrive. There are only two stalls.

Our server was on top of his game, refills promptly, even replaced our grill as soon as it got caked up. Extremely nice and accommodating staff. Would definitely return.

Little more expensive then the other KBBQ I've been to. Selection of meat and side dish were some were limited compare to other places. Service was pretty good. Half thru the meal, it started to take longer for the meat to cook and I wasn't getting any char on it. My friend had noticed each time one of the wait staff came by they were turn down the heat.

We've been going to many Korean BBQ in the area, but not this good. The crew here, Tim and his friends, they stop by at our desk almost every 5min. They kept checking if anything we need. Either sauce, water, or anything, we really appreciate that. And the red sauce, OMG, best ever!! After meal, Tim make sure we don't leave without ice cream.
Me and wife will bring our families.

AYCE KBBQ dinner for $24.99 or $29.99 can't beat that. Food was generally good, but no Kimchi, and the higher quality meat was hard to chew and tough. Great service!

Didn't let me in because I'm not Korean. Look online and it says closes at midnight, I show up at 10:05 to an 80% full restaurant wjere everyone is still eating and the guy doesn't even let me in the door. Stops me outside to tell me they closed already

The best korean bbq! My wife and I have tried other spots but we keep coming back to this one. Be prepared for a long wait on the weekends but if you show up a bit early like 5 pm or 6pm then you can get seated pretty quickly. I recommend the spicy tofu soup! Staff is phenomenal
