I took my Ram Promaster to these guys after having issues with work from a prior mechanic. Manny was helpful and responsive, so no issues there. Once I received back the van after a week..the Van was making a screeching noise from the brakes they had repaired. Reached out to Manny and he said he would check out the problem..he eventually stop texting back. Took it to another shop here in Fresno and come to find out the Rotors were never resurfaced, hence why the brakes were screeching so bad. I really wanted to like these guys as they do seem to care about their work but the work they did took longer then expected and the price was on the high side.

I tried giving them a chance but proved to be over priced not to mention they offer Snap financing which I've used at many other places before , and since I said I was going to take my vehicle elsewhere all of a sudden Snap wouldn't cover so I had to pay out of pocket when I was approved for way more than the price. Thieves and I'm not the only one who has experienced this. Just be careful people it don't happen to you.

I was looking to fix a evap leak, called and was on hold for 14 minutes. I ended up getting my car fixed at another place for 100$ But the reviews here are good. And promising! We took our vehicle in for diagnosing a transmissions system failure. Communication by the mechanic was good. They provided feedback and photographs of mechanical failure. Upon completion of service, they discovered two additional failures which may have been a contributing factor for the vehicle unable to move into gear. Unfortunately, we received the vehicle with a completely “dead battery” (jumpstart did not work). Representative, agreed to have the battery brought in, to have it charged. The service representative was able to provide a remedy to resolve the battery issue.

All-in-all, the service provided was fair. Communication was good.

RECENT VISIT - June 20, 2022:

Requested a diagnostic test for a 2005 Toyota Prius, due to possible hybrid battery failure (“triangle of death” illuminating in dashboard).

Diagnostic test was quick and thorough. Message received from “Justin” contained complete report and photographs. “Justin” provided good feedback and options to possible repairs. Very professional demeanor!

My updated review is based on both visits to the service station. All-in-all, I would recommend “A-Plus Automotive” to anyone in the greater Dinuba area.

The customer service here is way better than your normal shop. Alignment was very reasonable. The free car wash and vacuum is a very nice touch.
