We had a wonderful time at their community event last Sunday. The coffee was exceptional, the customer service outstanding, the cupcakes delicious, parking convenient, and the prices very reasonable. I highly recommend visiting for a delightful treat.

On a cold morning like today, it was so nice to have a soothing delicious latte. Kaylee, fixed me up a delicious lavender latte with a heart on top:)

Quick service and very friendly. It's nice to have a great latte place right in town!

She also makes adorable cakes for any occasion.

Current ownership needs to update the photos of food and explain that they are not a Country Breakfast location now. I didn't try the coffee and pastries items as I am looking for more of the fare offered by Carol's Cafe in West Sacramento. Guess I'm heading over there today.

Was visiting town for the morning and wanted a small, local, unique coffee shop—exactly what I was hoping for. Got to meet the owner; both she and the other barista present were super kind and friendly. Got an excellent lavender latte (lots of milk options) that is the perfect balance of sweet (but not too sweet) and lavender-y. Definitely recommend for the warm welcome and high-quality coffee (at a reasonable price). Compostable lids, too!

Recap: no WIFI anymore, menu is downsizing, some ingredients are always missing

When I first came here a few years ago, I considered it one of the best coffee shops I've ever visited. Really wonderfully flavored coffee, great food, fun space.
Once they moved I noticed a lot of negative changes over time. The coffee changed in quality, every time I went they would be out of one thing or another, or a machine would be broken. This last time I came they said that the wifi is unavailable, even though I've been able to connect every time previously. I understand that keeping something like this open is a difficult thing. Despite my sympathies, I probably won't be coming here again as I now can't even sit down and do some work on my laptop.

When we walked in to this place was told they didn’t serve food only coffees but reading the reviews and looking at the pictures I see they do serve food. Not sure if this place is biased or racist because we are multicultural family. Sad because it’s our family first time in Dixson wasn’t a good experience.

Discovered this place when I was looking for local shops in the Yolo/Solano area and what a godsend they have been during the shelter in place. Got their Pantry boxes delivered several times. They have been plentiful, with a good variety, and quite a few other things you can add on every week.

For $23!, we got the thinnest, most overcooked chicken fried steak I've ever had, accompanied by overseasoned gravy. The country potatoes were the best part of the meal. The eggs looked just like store-bought, not the dark yolked robust ones I would expect from a specialty restaurant. The coffee was good & bottomless. The service is minimal - counter order, they did refill the coffee but forgot the requested milk. Lots of flies buzzing around inside.

Probably won't be back.

Love this place. I still remember when the location was A Street Deli. The Barn and Pantry is quite different from its predecessor, but maintains the homey, small-town comfort vibe. The breakfast options feature classics alongside unique original dishes. I'll definitely make a point of stopping in whenever I visit Dixon.

I have come to the barn and pantry a few times over the last few years and I had hopes it was just going to be better each time! This last Sunday was the biggest disappointment, I had a vanilla latte with French toast and my friend had the Eggs Benedict, and ended up with a ollipop drink because they had run out of multiple of the homemade syrups. (Don't come after 11:30 am maybe?) It was around noon when we dined, but the outdoor and indoor dining area had not been cleaned, so out of the 3 available tables, we got one outside.

We waited for our food which didn't take long but my French toast only had bananas on them. I don't like them and don't consider them a seasonal fruit because they are year round. Also they came out with no butter so by the time I got the cold butter the toast was to cool and it was just more disappointing.

Now my friend had the eggs Benedict with bacon and hash browns. The hash browns were the only thing I'd give a 10 / 10 the hollandaise was okay, the egg it self was over cooked.

Overall the visit was just bad, we love going to nice places that offer local produce and fresh food, but I spent I think 55 with tip for lunch, which is justified if it hadn't felt like I paid to sit on a dirty park bench with mediocre food.
It was awkward for myself because I hyped this place up to some friends, and it did not impress.

I thought this was a long time established place when I saw it and decided to go in and get breakfast and noticed all the fresh meat and dairy in the fridge. So I ordered the country fried steak breakfast as per recommended by the girl at the counter which was decent. But $23.00 for a chicken fried steak breakfast is a bit excessive
I ordered eggs over-medium.....they came over cooked!! With the smallest serving of hash browns I've ever seen on a breakfast plate, not to mention the order doesn't even come with a biscuit or toast. I guess that's extra!? Service was like here's your food and walked away. And not offering a coffee refill or any condiments. I could have eaten better elsewhere and cheaper too! I wouldn't recommend unless you want to spend $100 on breakfast for 2.. maybe 3 people.

Haven’t been back here for a year or so. Coffee is still excellent and service is warm and friendly. The food was a bit lacking from prior visits. Not sure if it’s worth coming back except for a quick coffee. Little disappointing

Servers were pleasant, but took over 20 minutes to get our breakfast, and there was one other table occupied. My eggs Benedict was the worst I’ve ever had. The muffin was thin and cold. The ham was devoid of flavor and burnt on the edges. The eggs were over cooked and the sauce was meager and tasteless. The coffee was undrinkable. When we informed the cashier she said sorry, new cook. Took the coffee off the bill but charged us full price for our meal.

Last week i ordered the biscuits and gravy. Their menu advertises the gravy as "sausage gravy". The gravy has no sausage. Not what i was expecting but the gravy had good flavor so i ordered it again today, to-go. After 25 minutes of waiting i'm told they ran out of biscuits and were making more. You should definitely tell you customer that you ran out and the wait will be longer. instead there was not communication at all. I was offered an insincere apology and a refund. I accepted the refund but I won't be returning.

I visited here with family today, they let us reserve their establishment for a post-funeral gathering. The staff was wonderful. Their BLT was the best I've ever had. Their soup was delicious, I only added a tiny bit of salt. From what I looked at, it appears that most if not all their food is organic, free range, etc., so good old fashioned, non-GMO, and I will likely always order the BLT when I go there in the future, because it was so good that I would never pass up on the opportunity to eat that sandwich again.

This was our first time here and we will definitely be coming back. It’s such a cute and cozy place. The food was delicious like your grandma just made it. We got the scramble and the chicken fried steak, I can’t wait to try the bagels next time. Lizzie made me and my husband the most delicious cortado and latte.

We will be coming back for the food and the service because both was amazing and super refreshing now a days where every restaurant feels like bad over priced food with bad customer service.

This was my first time stopping at The B&P. I ordered online in Auburn so wasn't sure of my arrival time. I cake a couple times to update them and they were so friendly and accommodating. My smoked salmon omelet was delicious and fresh tasting. The hashbrowns tasted like typical diner hashbrowns. You may love them if you like the greasy spoon taste. From the employees to the owners, the Barn and Pantry, is exemplary!! They are by far the best thing that has happened to the Solano communities. Everyone there is so warm and welcoming, even in the times we are living in now (shelter in place). You can't help but smile when entering the perfect establishment. Not only do they have some of the best coffee and pastries, but they also have locally grocery items that are of top notch quality. If you are ever driving through Dixon, it is highly encouraged that you at least stop by and get an iced oatmilk vanilla latte. You won't regret it!! 😉

This is an honest review from a local resident. I am not a tourist and am not sponsored by The B&P in any way, shape, or form. I have been there more than I've been to my grandma's house. I am a huge fan of what Lindsey's (and Joel's) business has done for our community. Love you Barn & Pantry!!!

Cool new coffee shop in Dixon. Great place to relax and enjoy a crafty cup of joe. Really digging the farm style decor inside. Staff was friendly and inviting. All around cool place. Felt like I was in the 12 South neighborhood of Nashville.

This is a very cute shop with lots of local products. They recently started offering coffee and espresso - a must try if you're a coffee connoisseur. They've also got cured and frozen meats, cheeses, dried herbs, and loads of self care products/toiletries like lotions, bath salts, hydrosols, and much more. It's obvious that the owners and employees care about growing community and supporting small local farms and families. Definitely worth a visit!

Amazing coffee, and wonderful local products and lavender. I wish the back could be heated but I get that it would be difficult to do. I always love coming in.

Cute place for coffee and local goodies. There's a large sitting area in the back where they offer classes, e.g. sourdough making. I went for the coffee and it did not disappoint (they brew Mast coffee, one of my favorite coffee roasters). Also the shortbread was *amazing* and the staff was super friendly. I definitely recommend giving it a try.
