Overall, such a pleasant shopping experience. This Wal-Mart has so many negative reviews, but it must be the time when people go. I went on a Saturday evening (around 7pm) and it was such a relaxed shopping experience, it was worth it. Richard and 2 more associates that I asked questions were at all times friendly, helpful, and knew where to locate the few things I asked about. The cashier was also super friendly and helpful (lady with glasses) and even when leaving, when they check your receipts for the items, it was quick and efficient.

Dec. 22, 2024. 2:30 pm. Wow! The manager will not allow anyone to take bags from the bin anymore. He/she/they/it wants all the bags to go to the landfill without a second or third use. This is insulting and absurd. Why can’t these bags be used to give to the homeless to help with trash on the street? Why not to the elderly for personal trash to save on large bags and smells? Why not to the poor to help with their needs too?
An hour on the phone waiting for someone to pick up, to get the managers name. When I get it, I will amend this review.
So obviously the manager wants to see more trash on the streets in Duarte, Monrovia etc.
AND TO FILL UP THE LANDFILL WITH CLEAN BAGS THAT COULD HAVE BEEN REUSED.

This Walmart doesn't always have the biggest selection on things, it's more of just what is popular for the time. It's usually very crowded, especially the customer service/return line, but today around 11:00am it wasn't too crowded and no line for returns. I don't like getting stopped every time I purchase something for a receipt check, it's not like I'm paying a membership like Sam's club.

I I could give this store and the guest services negative 20 I would! Let this also serve as a warning or “fine print” to anyone who orders online orders from Walmart. So I ordered a Nintendo switch OLED for my son, but it turns out that my son is far too young for something like this. I thought it was like an old school game boy. He just doesnt know how to navigate it, he’s too young.

Anyhow, I started the process online to return the item it was supposed to be not a big deal and a smooth transaction. When I got to the store there the girl at the customer service section looked oblivious and confused. She began to do the transaction and then when she opened the box started looking and checking serial numbers on the hardware. Upon checking it, she said that the numbers didn’t match and then unfortunately they couldn’t accept it. I was alarmed and I told her I’m not sure what you need from me, I am following protocol and this is an item i received from online from that particular store.

They had me call 1800 Walmart, they said they needed to help me. So I spoke to three different agents. I had all of them them telling me to go back to the store. I went back to the store and ended up speaking to their store manager named Luis. He was absolutely rude and condescending and aside from that just completely incapable of showing human compassion to understand where was coming from. Not only did he not help me, but he humiliated me and I ended up back on square one where he was adamant that they were not going to help me and that they had not received any emails regarding my particular situation. I cannot, I repeat I cannot believe that they have such people working there. After my last two attempts at contacting the people at one 800 Walmart, they stated that that store absolutely 100% needs to receive the item and not give me any more grief. They said they don’t understand why they won’t help me or take the item. I don’t know what to do so I’m going to try another store. They should absolutely not have managers like Luis or that one girl behind the counter so-called “helping.”

After many years shopping here, I still couldn't walk through the store without being followed and watched at harassment like levels. So on a day when at another the wal mart the day before, I pretty much had a chaperone. That is when I decided enough was enough. I purposefully took something from their locked up area and placed it somewhere else in the store. I saw the fact that they were recording at the case where i had waited for the item upto 30 minutes countless times prior. This time they were on the spot, they thought they had 40+ years old dough shoplifters. I guess instead of going after the teenager/ young adults that actually stole things and brazenly i might add, they came after me. Not only did I not steal from them they likely threw out the items that they wanted to believe I stole instead of doing an actual investigation. When the double wide loser couldn't pat me down and I refused to allow him to search my wife, they took pictures of our 2019 Lexus as we drove away. I inquired as to his name and may file a lawsuit without it. It is especially rich given how many times walmart overg charging millions of customers. Who can we call? The police? They tell us it's a civil matter, but when they allege you stole from them; then it's criminal? Equal protection indeed. This happened a few months back and they have spread lies about me since, I'm almost certain. A lawsuit may be the only way to resolve who did what and who can prove what. They can't prove something that never happened.

Up to this time most Walmarts where I have been have had excellent customer service. Specially this one they are really nice, friendly and serviceable. Mainly at finance services there is a woman from Central America (El Salvador) who is a wonderful person with customers.

I just Had the worst experience at this store! I was returning an online order, a seasonal item, the return confirmation email clearly states I have until Jan 31 to return it. The email also outlined clearly the 4 step process, simply show the associate the bar code. The associate immediately refused my return as soon as she saw the item, even though there's an email stating the return deadline is Jan 31. Then Linda, another associate, chimed in, demanding to show her my original order confirmation. And that i was wrong, the return window has passed. Ignored the email shown to her from WalMart itself outlined the 4 steps to process this return. She insisted it's corporate policy, etc, clearly Linda is not trained nor willing to accept the fact that the customer was being helpful to her. Or aware the process explained to her by a customer, or, this time the customer was right! So, I scrolled through the email with her line-by-line, she finally unpleasantly processed the return, as outlined in the email. Why they made this in-store experience so unpleasant. Why Wal-Mart even offered in-store return option if you employees are so underbtrained?

Walmart parking lot security on 12/29/24 at around 530pm was excessively aggressive to the point of harassment . I actually parked on the street next to the Walmart by the IHOP and the security car with orange lights perpetually revolving drove by me shortly after I parked. Then turned around and drove up very close to my car going the other way. There was no reason or justification for following me around or harassing me. Furthermore I'm on a side street on a public Street at this point. Walmart security has NO JURISDICTION in this area. It's like a fellow citizen harassing you. Actionable 👎. And I think I could get a pretty penny from Walmart for harassment

Walmart is hanging in there. Although their prices are going up like all other stores. My two cons recently were during the holiday shopping, they won't match their own online price when you find it on the shelves. Wow! What ashame. The other con is that the store opens early for holiday shopping, but the customer service opens 2 hours later. Really! Why not open at the same time, or at least 30 minutes later. People were discussing this in the aisles as well as in line. Perhaps Walmart feels consumers should "take it, or leave it" type of attitude. We continue to shop there, but I strongly urge consumers to review your concerns(if you feel they can do better). Trust me, your comments mean more than you know.

Easy to find parking, easy to find the pet section and although the line was very long in the self-checkout tellers, we were in and out of the store in less than 15 minutes and that includes finding parking.

Fully stocked, rude staff. I normally set my expectations very low before walking into a Walmart but today’s experience was terrible. After waiting 10 mins at the liquor cabinet the adage “we’ll be happy to assist you” felt more and more like a slap in the face. Waiting several minutes between presses as not to annoy anyone, I tried 3 times with a song in between attempts. Numerous employees made awkward eye contact seeing me perusing the aisle while I waited but would about-face or turn into an aisle before mine. I even bothered to approach an employee who very rude told me “you just have to wait”. When I tried to ask another question he repeated, without looking at me, the same statement and walks away. After speaking to the manager about what was going on be assured me he would send someone over and walk the store. I waited another 5 minutes before giving up. What a waste of time. There were a ton of employees who could have helped me so I’m sure the manager got caught up but overall I left empty handed and saw at least 10 different people in blue vests who did nothing to assist me and did not look happy one bit

This is my favorite to go to Wallmart. The store is always clean and well stocked. I always find what I need at a good value! The added bonus is that I can enjoy a warm McDonalds coffee after my shopping is done! The employees are friendly and helpful as well. Keep up the word work!

Waited between 20-30mins to receive help in the crafts area. When no one was coming i went to ask a worker if he can send someone to assist us. He went to go find someone only to come back and say that the person in charge of Crafts is also in charge of electronics. He is by himself and has a long line, wishes he can help but he is not authorized to help in that area. After waiting for some time and the associate wasn't coming, my mom went to stand in line at electronics to ask for help. We later find out it's an ELDERLY gentleman. Walmart, do better by your people. There were 5-6 different workers that walked by us and not one offered to help us or the worker in electronics. He had about 4 people waiting in line in electronics once he step away to assist us.
