First time here and it was okay. They don’t seem to have a big selection as the store at the opposite end of Dublin rd. Service was good and we were able to find most of the items on our list.

I usually come In to oder hot food or buy deli meat, the employees are polite but sometimes it's hard to get help at the deli. Everything else Is fine at this Safeway Id just like better faster service

I went to this Safeway to get 3 gifts cards- $50, $50 and $100. They turned up giving me 3 cards worth $50, $0 and $0. I reached out to this Safeway store and they asked me to call toll free number and create a ticket.

This happened in Nov 23rd 2023 and now 3 months later nothing has happened on that ticket. I called up the number multiple times and no one picks to answer your question on the gift card line. What a scam!

Such a shame that company like Safeway will handle these issues like this (when we know they screwed it up).

Do not get gifts cards from this store- cashiers have no idea what they are doing. Even if you do please double check if the card value is correct.

I am now going to open a fraud case with my Bank and ask for refund.

Never going to this store again.

Update 4/17/2024

It's now 6 months and no one has got back to me. This proves this store is running a scam and will steal your money.

I hate this store. They ALWAYS have old expired price tags on shelfs or in the wrong places. What you pay at checkout is too often NOT what the price tags say. Seriously, happens almost 50% of my visits. Sadly, I live next door to this poorly run business.

Quiet Evening to shop. ! Not a lot of shoppers moving around. GREAT Produce collection, dairy collection and grocery collection from multiple reputed brands, plus safeway's own Sig. Select Brand Products. Main Chips aisle was empty, but we found stock in one of the bins around the store. The Member Discounts and Digital Coupon Savings ontop always results in atleast 25% Savings. ! Friendly and Fast Cahsiers help with speedy checkout. ! Overall Great Experience.

Good, very good, lots of O-Organic choices, but WiFi is the Pitts, older store so we had to step outside to gain access to Sprint direct to check our Just4U and PC course Club Card deals. Plus many many local companies and many branded brands.

Not a bad option for groceries. I go at least once a week and rarely have I seen it very busy. Not a big store so options are limited. Produce is generally in good condition. Self-checkout can be annoying sometimes with lack of functioning registers & employee support. Rarely do I see more than two "normal" checkout lines open. A lot of the "freshly" made sandwiches, cookies, etc., don't seem to sell well and will be sitting there until they reach their "sell by" date. Note: they close the doors on the right-side entrance every night at like 9 PM or something, so everyone has to use the left side to enter/exit. That is kind of annoying when you aren't aware, but not a huge deal.

Worst Safeway experience. No one at the bakery, floral department, or even guest services—waited for 30 minutes without help. Ended up just leaving without what I came for. Manager was nowhere to be found.

This is literally one of the worst safe ways I have ever been to no matter what I am here for that have to do with customer service. I waited at the alcohol cabinet for about 10 minutes after I push the button, and then I finally went to go get somebody and they never showed up. When I asked somebody else for help, he then proceeded to do something else and we had to wait again.

The manager of self checkout and the registers can’t handle her job. The gal with glasses and always has her hair in a bun and is short treats all her guests like they’re stupid if they need help because YOUR machines don’t work. Hire someone that can handle it and will put the guest first. Horrible experience each time I’ve had to interact with her. Coming from someone that worked at the busiest target in the company, it’s not that hard to not be rude.

Disgruntled and lazy cashiers. Deli employees, however, are exceptional, appear always eager to help. Management should really do something to improve customer service particularly with the cashiers at the registers. The one that works evening shift at the self check out is completely worthless.

My Neighborhood Safeway here in Dublin Tassajara location is the best .. I live in between both locations but I have to say the experience here is the greatest. Lexi the Store Manager is always kind to me and my Mother and always greets us whenever we come in .. she is always there to answer questions and keeps this store operating effectively. You can see her staff appreciates her too as it’s evident that she wears many hats. Keep up the Great work and Thank you for always being so kind to us!

I don’t know what’s going on with my Safeway these days. Today this totally unprofessional lady was yelling about how she is a Safeway manager somewhere and was going to get my store’s manager in trouble. Who does that? Especially since she’s the one causing a scene. I feel bad for the poor lady that was getting yelled at. It’s always the super sweet people like her that get picked on. Hey Safeway, time for some classes on how to conduct yourself at work. If my boss didn’t do something about this “manager” yelling at me while I’m working I would find another job. Hopefully the victim doesn’t do that though, she’s such a nice person.

Went in on Tues. 5/2 to get pastries and fruit for staff at work, great fresh selection, no probs. Was going to get a drink at Starbucks- but saw two possibly Indian young ladies leaning against the coffee station closest to the registers, doing nothing, and one was picking her nose! I mean, all up in the nose swirling her finger around, no tissues, no glove on the digging hand, make no mistake that the finger was bare, and I didn’t see her wash her hands! Stay productive, stay clean, other folks’ health is at risk as well! Thank you!

Today I visited Safeway store in Dublin California on 4440 Tassajara Rd.
The time of the purchase was 2:04 P.M. 1/27/2023.
I had a Basket Grocery Rewards credit of $5. Which means my purchase should have been no cost to me. But the cashier charged me $5. Now I am at fault for not checking my Receipt before I exited the store.
I strongly feel that I should be refunded my money.

Clean Safeway in a clean strip mall at the east end of Dublin. Good selection in relation to other Safeways and helpful staff. Inside seating for waiting, etc.

Came in to pick up some fruit, ended up buying a lot of stuff! This place is quite organized and they have a great selection typically. The produce department is usually well-stocked though they were low on some of the specials. I would have appreciated getting a substitute item when I asked one of the employees who was stocking. They said that they were just out of stock and that's how it goes pretty much. That was disappointing. Otherwise our family does enjoy shopping at this location.
