Came in to buy an umbrella for 39.99. the computer was down. It was raining outside and I was headed to a funeral. I offered them cash. They said they couldn't because the system was down. I offered 50 dollar and they could keep the change. They said they didn't know the price(it was on the tag). For some reason they would not allow my spouse to try shoes on, and wanted her to commit to buying before trying saying “it’s a lot of effort to bring shoes from back unless you commit to buying”. Is this normal these days where people spend 150-200 bucks without trying the shoes on? It’s not like we tried 100s of shoes to bother the sales lady. It was literally our first ask. Anyway, this was our first visit to the store and will definitely be the last.

On Friday, I wore them around the block, only to find they caused significant knee pain by the time I got home. On Saturday, I went back to the store hoping to return or exchange them for a different pair. I was upfront with the store manager, Dino, about having worn them briefly around my neighborhood, explaining the pain they caused.
Unfortunately, Dino was not only unhelpful but also rude, condescending, and downright discourteous. His response was essentially that I should have “tried them before I left” and insisted there was nothing they could do. I asked about exchanging them or even getting store credit—nope. His final suggestion? To return them to the manufacturer. He even made an absurd analogy, comparing my experience to not being able to return a bat if it didn’t help me get a home run.
In short, Dick’s Sporting Goods clearly doesn’t stand by its products or support its customers. If you’re considering shopping here, be warned: try items on in-store, then buy them somewhere like Amazon, where you’ll actually be able to return them if they don’t work out. And above all, Dick’s should be more transparent about their restrictive return policies so customers don’t end up feeling deceived.

Mr. Eric this past saturday on 4/12 was awesome. I looked for a merchandise that was not out on display but was in stock. I was looking around and he offered to help and got it from stock room and helped me load it up in the car. It was a very pleasant experience. This will be my goto place besides the one in Modesto.

On a business trip I stupidly left my athletic shoes at home, so I visited this store to grab a replacement pair. The gentleman in the shoe department was helping some folks, but he divided his time between them and me, and quickly helped me find what I needed. That's a bit unusual .... most sales folks would do one at a time. Checkout was pleasant, and I was out the door in five minutes. That deserves an attaboy.

Poor customer service. I was at the store to do tennis racket stringing based on the information from the site and indications of friends and after asking two different people, we found out that they don’t do the job. We showed the site that informs the existence of the service and they replied that maybe in some other location. We then asked if they could check, since the information on the site is not reliable and they refused to help. Empty store, more employees than customers and still can't help? A beautiful and well-equipped store with arrogant and lazy employees. Good equation to create detractors, don't you think? I'm not coming back again and I don't recommend.

Tienen una que otra oferta y todo esta dividido para su fácil ubicación, creo que es una de las tiendas que yo más recomiendo, siempre me ha ido bien y siempre me han atendido bastante bien.

Wish I could give zero stars for my experience. I was walking towards the entrance of the store to grab an item near their, and a worker gave me the most aggressive stare and walked in front of the entrance as if to block me. Then I saw her signal to another worker, and that worker came up and asked me if I needed help with anything in the most condescending passive-aggressive tone. If it hadn't been for the need to get this present for my little brother, I would have walked out of that store and not given my money to this business. Ik I don't look like the general demographic of the people who come to this store, but that doesn't mean you need to constantly watch me move around the store.
In fairness, though, the workers who were in their respective departments were very knowledgeable and accommodating to my needs. But I'm not a fool. I can distinguish between accommodating and condescending.
To the two workers who did that to me, I wish I had your names, but I'm not as impractical as both of you. I liked how both of you were still hovering over me when I was at the register paying for my items. You'll get my $200 today but never again. Hopefully, other POC see this and steer clear.
Seems like a good store, but you unfortunately have some people with a bad judgment of character. And it only takes one person to ruin the dynamic. I wish I could say I was exaggerating but this is truly honest.
To the workers who did what they did I hope you read this and you make that change within yourself besides that everyone else was great.

5 minutes ago I just got hung up by someone worked in the customer service just because he did not understand what I was talking about explained so impatiently in a call back I made. It was so rude and extremely unprofessional. I can see I’m not the only one being treated like that in the reviews, hope a manager can see this feedback and take some actions.

So I have never been here and I found there website a little confusing to be able and go pick up my order but I’ll tell you what when I decided to go in and pick up my order I was more than surprised by what I found. Looking online to see if a specific item was available. The website directed us to this store. We wanted to purchase and pick up same day. So we called to confirm if it was actually in store before we drove 35 miles to store. We spoke to Jeff and he was very rude. He admittedly said no its not available and only had a larger size. Not satisfy we started to ask another question and was hung up on. So we trek out to another store in Lodi and the associate (Ajay) told us if they have in store you can purchase and pick up same day. Then (Ajay) associate help us contacted the store in Dublin he spoke to Jeff and was told he did not have the 30 minutes to check his stock. Thank you Jeff for your help... we will be taking our business to Wal-Mart since you don't have any customer service skills.
We hope Ajay is recognized for his exceptional customer service and is rewarded and promoted. Thank you and we will continue to frequent your store in Lodi.

Just went in to get an estimate for a fix and maybe a new wheel (I broke 9 of the spokes while riding), bike tech Eric listened to me and asked how long i was riding, when i told him it was only for 2 months he went and just fixed the whole thing up FOR FREE! Man really needs a rise or bonus, he's doing God's work out here.

I dropped off my tennis racket for restringing at Dublin store 6 days ago. I was told to pick it up 3 days after. 3 days for a racket restringing is already very long comparing to other places, but I can still take it. On the 4th day when I went into the store to pick it up, it came out the racket wasn't ready. Now on the 7th day when I called them, I was still told it wasn't ready. They asked me to call again tomorrow because no one in the tennis department is available. Tried to talk to the store manager but also failed. A simple restringing becomes a big headache.

I went in for kayak related accessories, paddles and life vests. Their selection seems limited in both. Help is not easy to find unless you track down an employee but this is not unique to just this store. It was very clean inside.

I was looking for specific merchs and I called them before going to the store... and when I got there, they didn't had them, for that matter it seems like they never had them.

Went to the store to get CR2 batteries because they are hard to find and the website said 6 in stock. Asked an associate for assistance and he went to his coworker and they said if they're not on display, they are not available. I went in to buy a $350 driver. I asked the associate if he could remove the security sensor so I can swing the club. He said he can't. No manager was available at the time to talk to. I called and spoke to a manager and said that is the store policy. The sensor is weightless. Not to me. All I wanted to do was take a swing on the putting green before my purchase. They wouldn't have a problem if the golf demo area was open. I guess I could of bought the club, swung it then returned it instantly. This store will not be getting my business 😒

Just left there and this was the most unorganized place I have ever seen. It's never looked like this. We spent an hour looking for cleats. Shoes were everywhere. No displays to guide you. All the clears were mixed in together. Had to leave and go somewhere else.

The store is quite disorganized especially in the camping sections. Shopping experience was average at best. Not the largest selection of camping equipment either and I think even Walmart has more. The employees are all very nice and courteous though which is why I didn't give it too low of a rating. Also they never seem to have a staff member on hand to sell you firearms and ammunition.

Typical sportings goods store with an overabundance of golfing merchandise. I wasn't all that impressed but I wasn't there out of any love for sports (I have zero interest in sports) I was there looking for a new backpack. This store had a minor selection so I didn't find anything for me.
