One of the best Italian dining experiences to enjoy and savor!

This restaurant is run by an incredible and friendly team of staff and servers providing top notch hospitality, customer service, and truly amazing high quality food, beverage, and dessert. They are on point in all aspects of providing and servicing their guests from table touch ( checking in on how your meal is and making sure to your satisfaction), human interaction, and warm smiles.

A dream team of hardworking staff with a great synergy going above and beyond to ensure the guest and dining experience is the best. Many thanks to GM Abel, Manager Sandra, and the fantastic staff and crew Paola, Deana, Bella, Angela, as well as the chef, kitchen, bar, and floor staff. Such a pleasure to be in a wonderful place with positive energy and good vibes, beautiful art, a private room in back that can accommodate approximately 15 persons, a separate dining area, small intimate bar, and outdoor patio.

The food is absolutely amazing and succulent!!! The pictured baked eggplant parmigiana is one of the best I’ve ever eaten seasoned to absolute perfection including restaurants in Boston and NYC!!! The hot garlic bread is super yummy and served promptly as well as refreshed. The red wine paring blend was a fabulous choice suggested by the server as I’m a fan of Malbec. Desserts! OMG! Warm bread pudding (surprisingly light) ala mode with vanilla ice cream and the tiramisu(layered perfectly) both to die for. A friendly local couple seated next to me after opening dialogue about the food and a conversation about music and radio era circa 1960’s shared that they’ve been going there for 45 years!!! They told me that it was previously decorated with bottles on the walls hence the name The Bottle Inn and changed after the pandemic.

Highest recommendations for the ultimate best Italian dining in Los Angeles County in a quaint spot a half block from the beach! Will definitely be coming back! See you soon.

Really tasty food right down on the edge of the beach walk. Friendly waiters that are top of the top with their service and ability to remember lots of different orders in one go. Had the carbonara and it was absolutely amazing!! Tried the gnocchi as well and loved it! The bread for the table was warm and buttery. The calamari was crispy and delicious. The meatballs were savory! Tried the tiramisu and ice cream, both were definitely some of the best I've tried. Would definitely recommend to any looking for a dinner spot in town. Would definitely go again!

This is a nice little gem by the beach. Very comfortable, reminds me of old school Italian restaurants. Service was excellent! One thing to notice is their Cioppino. This is fine dining that one can afford. Perfect beach location to watch the sunset paired with a glass of wine and an exquisite dish. The service was so wonderful, we did not want to leave. And don't get me started about those wonderful the roasted brussel sprouts... and the wine recommendation. Well worth the potential battle for street parking.

This is a nice little gem by the beach. Very comfortable, reminds me of old school Italian restaurants. Service was excellent! One thing to notice is their Cioppino. One of if not my favorite dining experience so far in the South Bay area. The food was spectators & the wine recommendations helped make the flavors of the dish stand out. Non è cibo italiano. Ho assaggiato i gamberi con spinaci e pasta (tutto in un solo piatto, questo dice tutto!) con tanto aglio.. non malissimo ma sicuramente non italiano. Da non ordinare il piatto sotto la categoria pesce fresco perché una sorta di zuppa con varietà di pesce, perché portano direttamente la pentola e non sa per niente di pesce😵. Di italiano abbiamo solo assaggiato il vino. Carini i camerieri ma non consiglierei.

I was going to get the Ossobuco di Vitello, but i think they recently took veal/vitello off the menu. It was no longer available through DoorDash.

Were able to be seated right away on a Friday night. Decor was dated, service was very slow. Party of 4 - two of us were served the entree while others were eating their salad. Then when that was finished, the remaining entrees were served while half the table watched us eat due to the poor timing of bringing food out together.

Staff were friendly enough, nothing extraordinary. Chicken parm was average, my husband did not finish his meal. The noodles were served dry alongside the chicken topped with marinara and cheese. My 10yo child didn’t see anything on the menu, so ordered $10 buttered noodles. We also didn’t receive the ice cream that was to come with the kids meal but service was so slow we didn’t bother to ask and just got the check and left.

Fettuccini bolognese was just average, portion was large and what I’d expect for almost $30/plate. The complimentary garlic bread was good, we probably ate more than we would have because we were starving upon arrival. The highlight of our meal was the meatball appetizer. While they were good, (4 for $13) they were not good enough to compel us to want to venture back. I love supporting small, local, family businesses but this one just didn’t hit for us.

We stopped in at one of our favorite restaurants. The artichoke appetizer and salad were excellent. We ordered the pasta special with brandy sauce and it was also very good. I splurged on the $40 lobster on angel hair pasta. What a mistake. The lobster on top was fine but the pasta was a flavorless glob. It had a dry texture, no seasoning but oversized pieces of basil thrown on top. I let the waiter know - nothing but an apology and an attempt to push dessert. I let the manager know and they could careless.

I have no words to describe this awesome place. It is pricey but worth every penny. I have been here twice (November and yesterday January 2022). OMG try out their flourless chocolate cake. To die for - tastes and texture is like a chocolate mousse but better.
They have zucchini noodles. It would take too long to tell you how exceptional their dishes are. And another plus is that the servers are so caring about you needs and what would make you more comfortable. Right on the beach. You really need to try this place at least once. You will not be disappointed, except for the parking sucks. You will forget about the parking because this place is off the chart. Thanks Mari

Well, just came back to So Cal for business, and only one place on my mind to eat. As Im on my own, I checked at 4 and saw that they were seating at the bar. Came back at 6, and they have a group that "reserved" the whole bar... terrible management, put the group in a room so you can reap their money, and still take mine. I typically spend $150 and up for dinner "on my own" sorry can't support poor management, I go elsewhere on my next trip here

Always good. Not cheap. Not too expensive for occasions. Service is an experience. A glass of wine is a glass of wine here, accurate pour. Wine selection is huge. Well crafted menu that hasn't changed in decades because it does not need to. Brunch, light lunch possible too, salads are amazing and fresh and you can split with a friend. You can request variations & market fish of the day and special menu items rotate all the time if the extensive menu does not pique your interest.

Italian spot by the beach with outdoor patio dining. Came here on a group of six on a Sunday morning around 11:30am after having made reservations online via OpenTable. Metered street parking. You’ll probably need to circle a couple of times to find a spot if you don’t come earlier in the morning or park in the neighborhoods but note that many of them have 1 hour limits. Credit cards are accepted. There’s single occupant bathrooms inside. No indoor dining was available when we went. Dogs are allowed.

The food portions are on the larger side and there’s a good mix of pizza and pasta options. Definitely get the calamari - it was a good portion size for the six of us. I got the rigatoni e pollo basilico which was very creamy and was the right amount of savory. I had leftovers to take home and it still kept relatively well. The pasta was chewy and thick too. The sausage rigatoni could’ve been spicier but that’s another solid choice. For the more health conscious, they do have a grilled salmon option as well as salad entrees. Overall, you should come to this spot if you want some laidback Italian food right across the beach and are ready to treat yourself to some carbs

Dinner at @bottleinnhermosa last night ... The romantic lighting made pics challenging (but yay for indoor dining again! 🎉).

1. Chicken Piccata with Brussels sprouts instead of pasta (we're doing low-carb)

2. Filet smothered with mushrooms and tarragon bernaise, sauteed spinach, roasted carrots, and brussel sprouts subbed for potatoes

3. Meatball appetizer I had to snap a pic of fast cuz we were so hungry! Lol

The wine list is incredible!!

Food was delicious, the meatballs so cheesy yummy, so much tarragon flavor in the bernaise, my chicken Piccata was perfect!!

I gave this place three stars for the great location and quick service, both sitting and serving. The food was ok. I ordered the Cioppino. Flavor was good, but not happy with the ingredients. Too many bell peppers. No shrimp. ( server did bring some on the side) they can definitely improve this dish. Needs to have more seafood in general. Its $35. Not cheap.

Another thing, which is important. Our server was overwhelmed. Maybe too many tables to serve. Restaurants need to remember that times are hard, not just for restaurants, but for everyone. EATING OUT IS A TREAT these days for many of us. We expect nothing but the best a restaurant can provide. Thank you
