Great food for your money. The service was great. The atmosphere was great. Spacing of the tables are great. Staff was plentiful and very attentive if we needed anything. The food was great,also lots of beer/wine/spirit options including about 12-15 beers on tap. There are 2 outdoor patio locations. Parking is ok it's a little crowded with traffic from all the other businesses. Also a few large flat screens over the bar playing sports.

I previously posted "Good food and service, reasonably priced too. We'll be back again."... wow, that's seriously changed! Today, the server told me " even though you ordered food you need to go to the bar, for drinks"... what am I tipping for ? Oh, and when we asked for water, we were told to go to a self serve water station! And the topper... our server attempted to charge us double the posted menu prices for our drinks, then got an attitude when we pointed it out. I will happily tip generously for good service, but this is the one time I left a $0 tip. STAY AWAY!!!

Friendly service, a good variety of food and drinks. Wings are a huge disappointment for a wings fan. If you order different types of dishes expect one or more to be slightly cold. Hummos isn't the best, for someone who is familiar with the authentic taste. The chicken avo panini is very delightful and meat skewers are nice if they are freshly made.

Well last time I went of course during the heatwave their are conditioner was broken so it was ridiculously hot, and when I asked the waitress if someone was working on it or going to fix it she ignored me and walked away, so not a good start. I got my food and because of the heat the taste of certain things were off. The 'sweet potato fries a la mode' were undercooked though and of course the ice cream melted so fast It wasn't worth it, and the manager took care of it which was fine, but the overall experience was not the best. I've eaten there in the past and it was ok, but I wasnt a happy customer that day...

This could be one of the most inexpensive breakfast place in Long Beach if you combine the numerous offers you get when shopping at neighborhood Vons. Besides great service, there are a lot of good breakfast options here.

I'm giving this a 2 star because i went last night and paid $20 get in and when i went to the bar i paid for two drinks. I also asked the bartender how much was my friends drink and he said he didn't know which i was surprised about. When i got my bill i just gave him my card and signed and gave him a cash tip. This morning when i was changing my purse i just so happened to looked at my Receipt and i noticed i was charged Gratuity which i was never notified about and i also left a cash tip. For the most part it was a good crowd and the dj was good also.

Avoid this place. The food lacks so much flavor for the price. They rely on their sauce on every dish, instead of the protein itself. The burgers dry, the steaks over cooked with very little flavor, the salmon over cooked. The fried food was good but not great. The jambalaya actually had flavor. Just avoid this place. The drinks are good, but again not great. Just not worth the price this place is asking

Great place! I ended up there around 12PM on a Saturday, it was pretty mellow but picked up as we got ready to leave. The service was outstanding and the food was great. Good tap list, easy atmosphere. I'd come back next time I'm in the area!

Not gunna lie they were some bathrooms issues. When someone opened the bathroom door the whole place smelled like butt cheeks. Food was ok. Spicy bloody mary was good. Should have known something was up when it was empty on the Sunday of a long weekend.

Came here for happy hour and everything tasted amazing. Great $7 mules and $3 off the most delicious apps. The jalapeño poppers are some of the best I’ve had and the italian meatballs and pork belly tacos are delish. We’ll be back!

The marketplace was SO much better. Tap24's quality of food is absolutely horrible. MY PASTA AND MY GIRLFRIEND'S PASTA WAS DRENCHED IN OIL!! I don't understand how a restaurant ruins pasta. When we asked about the pasta being drenched in oil, the server simply said "That's how it is". When my girlfriend asked for a new plate, they sent back a plate still drenched in oil.
If you're looking for somewhere to eat, please for your stomach's sake, look elsewhere. It gave us a bad case of acid reflux.

I rarely feel the urge to write a review, but after my recent experience at “Market Place” now known as Tap24, I just couldn't keep silent. This once delightful establishment has been completely ruined under new management.

The moment I walked in, it was clear that the focus has shifted from providing a quality dining experience to maximizing profit. The menu has been gutted, leaving only a sad, limited selection of overpriced dishes. It's disheartening to see a place that used to pride itself on its variety and affordability become just another overpriced disappointment.

The poor staffing was another huge issue. Our waitress, who did her absolute best under the circumstances, was the only one working the floor. She was run off her feet, trying to attend to every table, which inevitably led to long waiting times and a frustrating dining experience. It's unfair to both the staff and the customers to operate this way.

This place has become a joke. It's no longer the warm, welcoming eatery that I used to love. If the management continues down this path, they will surely drive away all their loyal customers. It's with a heavy heart that I must say, save your time and money and look for another dining option.

As a biracial individual I would like to point out the fact that this place is racist. My family and I are Mexican and African American mixed race, and not only did the establishment serve us poorly but also came up to our table twice to complain that we were being tooo loud and we needed to keep it down because other customers were complaining. The second time the manager came up to out table and said the “manager” said we were disrupting other customers , layer we found out the manager was the one who had addressed that. Honestly I am disgusted by the treatment we received.

I’m only giving this 2 stars because our server was amazing. I can’t remember her name but she was sweet and attentive. I ordered the jalapeño poppers as my appetizer and they were OKAY. The cheese in them was good, but the jalapeño flavor did not come through. I also ordered a spicy watermelon drink which was strong but not spicy at all. The salmon smelled very fishy and had no seasoning, neither did the mashed potatoes or “grilled” vegetables which we either actually boiled or cooked from frozen. My boyfriend got a mushroom burger and again - extremely under seasoned. I was looking forward to a great experience but for over $80 this restaurant fell flat. I unfortunately won’t be returning.

I think this place is having a bit of an identity crisis... Food was great, evening atmosphere was wine tasting bar meets, higher class dining, meets low level hole in the wall sports bar (without the sports)
There were 2 tables with diners when we got there, we waited about 5 minutes to be seated and after about 10 minutes sitting at our booth, the bartender came over to ask if anyone had helped us. They hadn't so she took our order. She was our only point of contact for the rest of the evening and yes she was tending bar the entire time. Send to mostly be local bar people just sitting and drinking for the most part, older crowd.
They have 3 very small televisions on the wall, it was Sunday night during a football game but there were no sports on any of them, one was playing Modern Family. Not a bad show but a strange dinner companion.
I can't speak for the kitchen stay other than the food was great. The bartender was a rock star and kept the bellies at the bar content and serviced our table every chance she could get away from there bar. There was another girl pretty much handling everything else on the floor, the rest of the staff on the floor never did anything related to the restaurant while we were there. There was a younger guy that just held a cloth, watched the bartender from the distance while standing near the televisions.
The girl that seated us stood near the kitchen counter and did absolutely nothing for our entire visit... The two workers that were working, worked their butts off the entire time. It was such a strange experience that it actually was pretty intriguingly entertaining.
Loved the menu, loved the food and the bartender is a rockstar!

We used to come out here when it was the marketplace grill cafe and loved the food.
However, we saw it was named differently with old pictures of good ol marketplace. Not sure when the name of the business changed but it definitely isn't the same quality of food and you'll see images of food mainly from the Marketplace. Images from a year ago still are marketplace. I'm assuming this year it changed. It's far from that quality of food. We thought we'd give it a try and were very disappointed. I ordered the Asian chicken salad, posted a picture of it. Chicken had no flavor,no wontons, and seemed like chicken was frozen. And my boyfriend had the chicken risotto and same problem with the chicken which was doused in mayo and risotto was rice, veggies were not seasoned. Tasteless dinner. We didn't finish our food. I ended up picking the chicken out of my salad and just had lettuce with dressing. Not happy with our dinner and it was close to $50 for our dinner. I'd skip this spot.

I had stopped going to the Long Beach store for a while when the quality seemed to drop off (even prior to covid) I gave it a try tonight and found it was under new ownership! The food was the same great quality I was used to. The server was very attentive and went out of his way to set up a spot with heaters outside for my party. I had a Greek chicken salad and the flavor was great and everything was very fresh. will definitely be returning

Used to come here every so often prior to covid, however lately there has been a significant drop-off in quality. Ordered pesto veggie pasta and I've never eaten anything with less flavor. Also, I would avoid ordering anything with veggies. There is no way a restaurant should be using the veggies that came in this dish - old, brown, no flavor. The price is also an issue....seems like you're paying extra to keep the doors open on a place that just wants to rid itself of old ingredients.

Food was tasty and reasonably priced, although there was an issue with the order. I ordered a turkey avocado panini, and it tasted great, but the meat was the color of ham or bologna. It was also clearly a cold cut, not made at the restaurant. The wife ordered chicken skewers, which were fine.

Also, they add a ton of parsley to make the food look fancy. I like parsley personally, but not everyone might.

I spoke with a manager about the meat issue, and she noted our concerns and offered a discount for the trouble.

I never leave reviews but i had to share what my sister and i experienced at this restaurant today. we’ve visited here multiple times before covid with no issues so we decided to come back for some dinner. she orders a pasta that grossed her out so much to the point where she lost her appetite because of how “chewy” and frozen the chicken in her pasta tasted. i ordered a sandwich that came chopped up into 4, while eating my third piece i noticed on the piece i didn’t touch, there was a hair sticking out of it! needless to say we lost our appetite. thankfully we didn’t have to pay for anything, but the service could’ve been better as no one came to check on us at all, we had to wave down our waiter just to return the pasta and then had to call over the host so they could take back the sandwich. disappointing to say the least.

personally, when i first tried it , it was really good but now the pastas have no flavor and it’s so expensive. i came her with my sister & mom because we were craving this since covid started but now i am so disappointed not even that good and not the worth the hype. although the bread is okay, but not the actual food. Waited almost an hour for our order through DoorDash and it was a completely wrong order. I gave it a 1 star because as vegetarians we received an order with only meat and we weren't able to even eat the food so it went to waste. To top it off when we asked to re order the proper order the restaurant was closed. We were looking really forward to eating and as vegetarians there isn't many options that don't include fast food. This was a really awful experience!

We use to come every weekend. Now we have gone three times since it reopened. Found what looked to be mold on my french toast. Told our waitress and showed her. She acted like it was nothing and just walked away. I took a picture and asked for a manager. Got we don't have a manager on duty.

Consistently tasty work lunch meeting spot to go to. Large portions, and plenty of tables indoors for slightly larger groups. The outdoor, canopied seating in the parking lot remains as an option, as well. I recommend any of the salmon dishes, shrimp fettuccine, grilled cheese and jambalaya pasta.

We’ve had dinner at this restaurant a number of times before Covid. We went back today and we may never come back. The service could have been a little better but the food was absolutely horrible. We ordered an omelet that came with a chunk of undercooked bacon just thrown in the middle, not even scrambled into the eggs. We ordered a side of French toast that had an excessive amount of cinnamon. Way more than it should have. We ordered a meat sandwich that chunk of sour cream you can taste with every bite. Not to mention our potatoes that came as the sides. They were literally mashed potatoes (not roasted, not seasoned like regular breakfast potatoes) with a dash of cayenne. They tasted like nothing.
Don’t waste your money here.

Placed order at 10 am when restaurant opened and was told food would be ready in 25 minutes. Got there and ended up having to wait 45 minutes. On top of that when they finally gave the food to my husband he checked the bag in the car and our soup was not in there. He had to go back and get it. This is ridiculous.

Maybe it was a bad day or the server was a bit overwhelmed? Let's call him Chad (I'm sure that's not his name)..
We hardly saw Chad , even placing our order took a long time. One guy walked in before us waited for his food at least 45 minutes, the two ladies walked in after us was able to order and get their food wayyyy before the first guy and us!
Then Chad kept bringing us samples of this and samples of that, with his catch phrase of the day, "Absolutely "
Man! If I wanted samples I would have gone to Costco, seriously. I've been here a great number of times and the service had been great!
But this time? *scratches head* idk..
There were so many employees in there I saw nary a one ( yes I said nary), walked around checking on the customers.

I’ve been to this restaurant many times before to meet with a group of friends. We met there on May 13, first thing we noticed is that the restaurant look dirty. The service was horrible but the food was as good as it always is (although people that got potatoes with their lunch said they were cold). We asked for takeout boxes for leftovers and the gentleman never came back with them, we had to go get them ourselves. The six of us decided we will be finding a new place to meet for our group lunches.

Only a handful of people were seated but the staff was more absorbed with cleaning the orange juice machine than helping us. We waited about 10 mins to be seated another, another 12 mins to be seen by our server, but the positive side the food came out fresh and delicious. No one came by to see if we were ok even though we needed our drinks refilled and a togo box. After waiting a good 45 minutes after we had finished our meal had we not flagged down someone to pay for our meals we probably would still be waiting for service and to pay.

This is my 1st time eating here. I got the sampler appetizer platter, paid extra to sub 1 item for Chicken tenders. Never recieved the chicken, the food was undercooked .. terrible 1st impression

French fries tasted cold and appeared somewhat old. This was a surprise since we had arrived early and had to wait for our order to be done. I love market place and usually go to the one in Downey. I was very disappointed and hope this is a one time thing.

So food came out 55 mins after being seated also Food hit the table before our drinKs and silverware that took an additional 15mins. The food was cold and received terrible service! The server comped 15% off should have been 50% if not the entire check. Do yourself a favor if your reading this review don’t waste your time or money at this restaurant. The absolute worst experience I’ve had dining out.

First couple of times we had the Best Food & experience, but then poor services started to unfold and the Only female employee of Asian descent has been of the chart on her RUDE Not at all Professional! Food orders she took she'd place her way an interrupt while trying to give order specifics! Tooo much for less than Two wks of patronizing ... Manager Ericka vows to make right during her watch! I look forward to this very much, because ..my first couple lunch abd dinner were so impressive! 💎

45 minutes for a sandwich. Do yourself a favor and go to Vons and make a sandwich at home. Food actually tasted decent, though all fries were cold. Won’t return

I don’t know if it’s because of the pandemic but the food doesn’t taste all great anymore. You ask for a crepe and they use pancake batter and crepes aren’t so damn thick like a pancake. You have to ask for syrup and whip cream. Steak is too dry & hard to chew.

Muy buen lugar y ubicación de plaza. La comida tiene buen sabor y porción.De los precios puedo decir que son elevados un poco, esta ocasión me toco solo pedir para llevar, pero al parecer el lugar está limpio, con puertas de emergencias ubicadas y con patio, mesas afuera y para los amantes de tener una buena bebida pues cuenta con bar, estación de café y variedad de bebidas y postres.

Beautiful restaurant, fantastic Greek chicken salad, my number 1 choice. All there food is pretty darn good. I’ve even had happy hour there, great drinks and food. I almost always do takeout but eat in the bar section often. Super fast service and if you do take out you can call ahead. Also some great weekly specials

Our server was on it too...drinks boom.... food boom... extras and what nots boom boom. Haven't seen that in a long time. He was so polite and professional. We'll be back for sure.

Let me start with I placed my order everything was going great. And then I pick up my order I ordered a steak sandwich, one of my favorites, they put it through the Panini press, of which I hate Panini’s. The steak sandwich is not a Panini. I had to wait five minutes for them to fix the sandwich. I get home, then my husband proceeds to tell me that his fries are so hard they’re not even like chips or you could at least bite into them. So he ended up throwing his fries away my sandwich meat was cold and all I got was an oh I’m sorry.

Lots of choices on the menu. We chose the Greek salmon salad. Generous portion of nicely seasoned and grilled salmon on a bed of greens and various salad vegetables, olives and feta cheese. Very fresh and delicious. Served with pita triangles and olive oil and balsamic dressing. We needed to- go boxes for this meal. Now this is a order at the counter type restaurant . Once our order arrived the server was attentive to our needs and stopped by to check up on us. The staff is very welcoming and appreciate you choosing their store for your meal. You can just feel it in their attitude. My first time but not the last.reasonably priced and pleasant and ample seating. Don’t pass this one by.

I jusy called to place an order from thier online menu to find that the price you see online is not the price they have in the restaurant. Their is a $6 difference and when asked the person over the phone why are there two different prices, his response was oh I'm sorry we have had several customers conplain abiut the mix up. We have told management and notjing has changed. There is notjing I can do but charge you thr price that we have on the in store menu.
Not good business in my opinion. Not very good customer service/ relations.
So disappointing

It was very good food. Great quality. Very nice atmosphere. I ordered the salmon and shrimp plate and the risotto was tha Bomb. I’m going to try something different next time. 😃

Friendly service, a good variety of food and drinks. Wings are a huge disappointment for a wings fan. If you order different types of dishes expect one or more to be slightly cold. Hummos isn't the best, for someone who is familiar with the authentic taste. The chicken avo panini is very delightful and meat skewers are nice if they are freshly made.

Great place for a quick bite, without sacrificing quality. Easy place to meet for a business lunch. Good portions and prices. I eat here regularly and have always been happy with my experience.

Amazing food and very helpful staff. Happy Hour on Wed from 3-6, then a reverse Happy Hour from 9 to Midnight. You won't be disappointed, everything on the menu is 😋

Shout out to the waitress working around 8:15PM September 9th for stepping away from the food and drink then talking to me instead of speaking to me over the food and drink. She was very kind and checked in time to time at a frequency that didn't feel bothersome. There are different areas to eat for people seeking a particular type of seating vibe i.e. booths, high booths, bar, patio, etc. I've been here twice and both times have been chill.

I felt a good full after eating only half of either meals. I've always split my meals between fruits and veggies; I eat one half of my sandwich with veggies for dinner and the other half with fruits for lunch the next day. The Ciabatta and Chicken Breast Sandwiches are sooo good. Someone came up to me and congratulated me for having a meal (the Chicken Breast Sandwich) that looked so delicious 😆😅🤷🏿‍♂️ (and is a fan of the Alfredo Pasta). I'm not able to consume too much Alfredo, never had any from the Marketplace, but, after these two meals, I'm definitely open to trying more food from the Marketplace Grill.

I have been this place a few times, nothing really funny, simply burgers and sandwiches, come with 2 choices of side dish. They are all good. Satisfied and walk out happy.
