I am a frequent patron of this establishment and I must say that the level of customer service could be improved. It appears to lack enthusiasm, which is surprising considering I am a regular customer. The employees seem disinterested and it feels as though they would rather be somewhere else. As for the food, I have tried all of their pasta dishes and have stopped ordering the chicken pasta due to the consistently dry chicken. I cannot recommend the chicken option. Lately, I have been opting for the shrimp pasta instead, as it is less likely to make you sick since it is overcooked, although it tends to be excessively oily. I would strongly advise against ordering the Veggie pasta, as it lacks flavor even with the addition of mushrooms, which are complimentary. The strawberry lemonade is hit or miss, as it used to be enjoyable but has recently been tasting unpleasant. I suggest sticking to water or trying their ginger drink, which unfortunately lacks flavor as well. I have also tried their Panini steak sandwich and it did not meet my expectations. The only reason I continue to visit this restaurant is due to its convenient location and the fact that the portions are filling, regardless of whether I enjoy the food or not. It seems that many people opt for the salad, but personally, I prefer not to order it when dining out as it is a simple dish that can easily be prepared at home. Perhaps others order it because the overall flavor of the food is decent. The ambiance is usually calm and quiet, but it tends to get busier later on as many people choose to dine here. While they may enjoy the food, I believe it could benefit from more flavor.

This place has a great feel to it, very clean, friendly servers and great prices for great food!

The Greek salad & Chicken vegetable soup were the best part of the meal.

The restaurant is very clean, hand sanitizer by the hostess, the entire staff wears masks, gloves and clear face visors.

The music can throw you off, as the genres and decades are constantly changing. We went from listening to 50s pop to Latin gospel. Maybe it was just a fluke this visit.

What a divine ambiance, fresh tasting food, attentive and efficient wait staff, and delicious menu items and presentation.

I love coming here cause it’s always super comfortable with light chatter, friendly and courteous wait staff. I always order the Mediterranean Salad + chicken, and a pistachio baklava with vanilla ice cream (see pics).

There’s another location by Long Beach Airport (LBX), but I prefer this location for its quaint ambiance and typically never as crowded, plus they have nice outside seating with space heaters.

Food: The food at the restaurant was amazing and quick. It had a texture that no other restaurant could apply to their foods. The yogurt, rice, kabobs, onions, and tomatoes were delisous. Don't forget to put salt on the tomato's! The wait was honestly worth it and it was that long seeming that we got 4 big plates of kabob, dishes, and drinks.
Service: The service was really nice at the time I was there. It made a feeling of belonging. The service never had a bad attitude, they were very friendly.
Atmosphere: although I forgot to take pictures, the atmosphere seems very comfortable. I sat outside with my family enjoying and laughing. The outside did feel a little cramped since there were windows surrounding us but that didn't really matter for me.
Conclusion: Overall, this is a great place that features many phenomenal options for food that I will guarantee you will like. The service, food, and atmosphere are all great features that I love about the restaurant and it really hit the spot.

I ordered a falafel wrap and got a sad excuse for what theirs was supposed to look like . First off it contained absolutely no falafel very little if any veggies and mostly lettuce . The awareness of the managers at this location during wed. Night was troubling nobody was answering the phone while it just kept ringing and they weren’t busy cook had the error of putting together a lack luster looking salad and a falafel wraps minus the veggies and falafel and where was the manager at ?? Nobody was even checking what was coming out of the kitchen !! I know this food chain to be good but this particular location didn’t seem up to the par AT ALL what a shame . I’m only giving 3 stars because I USUALLY enjoy this restaurant must be a reason I avoid this location though ….

Stopped by this location today since I was in Long Beach and if I could give 0 stars I would. First of all as soon as we walked in a young lady did not greet us right away even though she looked right at us when we walked in and then proceeds to say "you can sit anywhere." So my other guest and I decided to sit inside since we didn't want flys to get on our food on the outside patio, we did notice that they had two workers inside working on the ceiling.. however we didn't think it would be a whole commotion! The ambiance was absolutely hectic. I have no idea why the restaurant didn't block off where the workers were working or putting up a sign saying only the patio is open for seating...because the next thing you know you are smelling sewer water and a bunch of water is splashing out of the freaking ceiling straight onto the two workers that are working on the ceiling and all over the floor splashing everywhere!!! My guest and I couldn't even enjoy our food in peace. We were the first customers to sit inside until one other party of two decided to join us and then one other man, but my guest and I were sitting the closest to the workers due to my guest wanting a booth half table but idk why they even let anyone sit inside because the floors got soaked!!! One man got up and paid so fast that he even forgot his sweater like it was that chaotic he couldn't get out of there fast enough. One of the workers, he even stopped what he was doing to help the workers mop the floors!!! The man who helped the workers clean up who I'm guessing is a manager kept apologizing but did nothing for the inconvenience. After today's overall hospitality I do not recommend, I was left absolutely speechless.

Came here with my girlfriend and waited 30+ min before we decided to leave because nobody came to touch up on our table or greet us. Not saying the waiter there was homophobic, but kind of strange how the table next to us that showed up after us got an order in, drinks and food out and we were just sitting there while he looked at our table from afar and whenever he checked in on said table next to us. If you’re looking somewhere there’s more friendlier places to take your business.

I'm so glad I gave this local spot another visit. The romaine avocado salad and dressing was fresh and crispy. The Beef Koobideh Kabob plate was absolutely delicious. I was surprised to see they also added tiramisu to the menu. It's so yummy! My daughter and I split the square. They stay pretty busy in the evening and the staff kept the orders moving along.

Generally good food and service. This location seemed a bit understaffed for a Sunday but they their best. Lamb kabob came out cold, but other dishes were hot when served. Chicken and beef kabob did not disappoint. Like most places portions are a bit smaller than before and more expensive. But we were still able to eat till we were full for 3 folks for 75$ including tax and tip so still a good deal.

How sad. I absolutely love the location in Irvine. I was so excited to bring someone to this place and it was very disappointing. Now I see why it was completely empty compared to always full in Irvine. The food wasn’t as good, the chicken and the rice needed more flavor. But the worst part was the service. There were two times we asked for something and they forgot and when asked again they gave us an ugly reaction. I don’t understand how you could forget when there was absolutely no one else in the restaurant… and it was not only our waiter who left by the way and we never saw him again but also another waitress. They need to hire other wait staff because clearly this one does not care about their patrons. I will not be returning to this location.

service was terrible! waited like 1/2 hour for our food to come. I realized about 20 min into waiting for food, that I took my diabetic insulin just before I went in. I asked waitress if it would be much longer & explained that I had to eat about 15 min after taking my meds. She didn't offer to bring me anything to accommodate me. I asked if she could bring me something and she just looked @ me & says sorry it usually takes 25 min for food to be ready, She was an idiot. We couldn't get her attention to get to-go trays I had to go up to counter for them & again to get the check & again to pay. She had her Kids there which is cool. only gave her one star cuz didn't want to leave it blank. The food was drye I as ind for Rice to be seperate oron every thing cuz I like to eat it like oatmeal. (Sweet Rice) I came on Plate w/ cheese & meat all over it. oh rice was way underdone

Oh my God, this was the best salmon wrap of my life. Ingredients included fresh herbs and capers, and it was so fresh and delicious. Had the lentil soup for my side which was extremely fresh tasting and flavorful. It was NOT overly salty or bland like so many soups. Wrap came with a side of tzatziki sauce that was also very fresh and had fresh dill herb and shredded cucumber. I have never had tzatziki this good. This is my new fav Long Beach restaurant, thank you for a fast fresh and reasonably priced option. I can’t wait to try something else on the menu.

The service was totally unacceptable. Order was totally mixed up, food was delivered after my 2 companions had finished eating. This was 2nd visit that the same waiter was incompetent. Will never return to the downtown LB location. The restaurant inside was uncomfortably cold! A terrible experience!!

I next to never leave reviews, but I ordered a meal for pick up for two people and had to wait almost two hours in the restaurant before it was ready(after getting notified that it was already finished and I could drive to come get it). The restaurant had almost no people dining in while I was there, but it seemed so immensely understaffed and what staff was present seemed so undertrained that they couldn’t even properly maintain the flow of people just coming in for pick ups. I DO NOT recommend this location at all unfortunately.

Living nearby now and love Greek/Mediterranean food. Excellent location to walk to if you are in this area. Service was very slow from seating on, even though there were less than 5 customers on this Saturday evening. The food, however, was well presented, fresh, and pretty tasty. I will definitely be back to try some other offerings.

Great food; abominable service. I worked in the food service industry for two decades and I know and understand that more often than not, the server is not to blame for issues that can arise. However, the server was definitely to blame at this location, and it only got worse from there.

Upon arrival, we were promptly and pleasantly greeted and seated in the outdoor area. That concludes the good service. From there, it took 20 minutes for the server to approach our table. At the time, there was only ONE other table seated in the entire restaurant. One. We placed our orders with our server who was more interested in what was going on with his co-workers than his two tables. The food arrived with one of our meals completely incorrect. It was relatively quickly rectified, and the correct meal arrived. We then asked for a side of hummus, but it took so long that we were both finished with our meal by the time he brought it to the table. Our server never checked on us, never pre-bussed, never even peeked outside to see if we needed anything.

We waited around and had to ask for a box and the check. I had my credit card on the table already because a long time had passed. Instead of presenting the check, he simply took my card and ran it. Upon return, I noticed I had been charged for the incorrect meal in addition to my correct meal. Assuming I was never going to see this chap again, I went to the counter to point out the discrepancy where I had to wait for two employees to finish their gossip session before I was acknowledged.

I explained the problem to the cashier who went and got our server. The server needed the manager to void the meal, and the manager muttered something to the effect of “but the food was already made” (as if I had changed my mind after the fact). The server again asked her to remove it without admitting fault, and she promptly did so, but my card had already been run for the incorrect amount. No apologies from the manager, and no eye contact. She never spoke directly to me. The server crossed out the old amount and hand wrote the new amount and had me sign. I’ll be checking my bank in a couple of days to ensure I was charged correctly.

I am a very tolerant and forgiving person because I have a soft spot for people who work in the service industry. But the inattentiveness I witnessed today was inexcusable and unacceptable.

Two highlights of this experience: the busser who was meticulously cleaning, and seemingly the only one doing actual work, should be commended. Secondly, the bathrooms were pristine. I’m guessing the busser cleaned those.

Delicious falafels, paninis and baklava! I definitely recommend this charming location. The staff is also very sweet and acomodating.

We’ve become regulars here. Always fresh, delicious, healthy, and reasonably priced. To top it off service is always quick yet friendly!

Service a little slow for lunch time. Waiter called me "boss." Food was good however.

My meal came with Basmati rice which was hard and very difficult to chew. I waited for our server to come by which took over 10 minutes. I went to the front to request new rice. I was informed that they ran out of rice so they apparently scraped it from the bottom of the pot. They apologized and served me new rice about 10 more minutes after that. The night manager offered a discount for the bad experience, which did not reflect on the receipt. They charged me full price. I had cold food and was lied to.

Other notes:

Do not order the prawns: they're burned and have no flavor. The wraps taste terrible. It's just a very large tortilla rolled up a lot to make it seemed filled.

The side of grilled vegetables is just 3 pieces (1/8 piece of tomato, 1/8 of a bell pepper and possibly 6 small onion slices) not a real side.

If you order a side salad they will just put it on the side of your warm dish. The side salad is wet and flavorless (just poorly chopped lettuce and chunky tomatoes) not worth it.

This is the third time we get service here. It takes them a really long time to serve 2-4 people, which is ridiculous. The food is bad, service is a joke they even laugh about how bad it is there, and the prices are ridiculous.

Save your money and your time.

Quality, quanity, AND they take good care of their employees?! I'm a loyal fan, amazing quality and generous servings. If I had a family to feed or children this is where I would go to keep them healthy and happy! Excellent work PK!

The food was really excellent and the prices were also cheap. The service was very slow, unfortunately, and it put a bit of a damper on the experience. Still, a good find.

Really great food! The breakfast potatoes are incredible. Crunchy on the outside, tender on the inside, and perfectly spiced. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather before heading to a nearby music festival. We told the hostess we were ready to order right away and she got flustered and seemed off the rest of the visit. Despite insisting she wasn't our waitress, she delivered our food and panicked again when we requested a couple of waters. Not a big deal at all, but it was just kinda... weird. Maybe they were understaffed and she was doing the best she could. Hostess, I just want to let you know it's okay! Thank you for taking care of us!

Love this place! Whether dine in delivery or take out, the food and service is always the best! High quality and fresh ingredients! Chicken kabobs cooked perfectly! And the flavors!! Wonderful!

The lentil soup is really good. But it takes way too long. Spent almost an hour and a half for my food. The lady said there was too many online orders. That’s why!

One block west of the crowded potholder cafe, this place offers a better breakfast at a lower price. Try the family breakfast combo. It feeds 3-4 people for 24 bucks. Amazing value.

I Love this place and the food, unfortunately everytime I stopped by had to wait to be served. Today after sitting for a while and no one available to take the order, I left to the next favorite palce. Hope they get more help.
