Absolutely loved this place! They have all the fixings to make your own BOBA TEA!! I called ahead to confirm they had an item I was looking for ( not boba tea ) and when I showed up to the store, the manager asked about the item I had called about and then pointed me exactly to where that item was. The store is full of all of the Asian market needs that you can't find in a regular store! The manager was so nice I cannot wait to go back and buy all the things!!

My family has been going to Que Hoang since the 1980's. They've watched us grow up though the decades. Que Hoang is a family run oriental market full of snacks, drinks, various ingredients, seasoning, meat, fish, vegetables, rice, noodles and many more items from back home and various Asian countries. I can always count on finding what I need to make food from back home. The family that owns Que Hoang are very kind and one of them are always there.
If your ever in need food for a potluck, they have amazing catering food: lumpia, pancit, palabok, BBQ pork, chicken, lechon etc... The prices are fair, customer service is great.
It's nice to see that they continue to be here over 40 years later.

Been wanting to come here for many years now but never had a reason to. I was looking for a short broom and had seen a Viet influencer use one. Thankfully, this store had them and so much more! Because I lacked time, I could not thoroughly enjoy everything this store had to offer, but I will return because I saw a huge selection of sauces and snacks I must try. The workers are very helpful.

I recently discovered Que Huong Market a few months ago and am so happy it's in North Highlands! Today I came in for dried noodles and was so excited to see fresh rice noodles next to the register! Used them for dinner tonight and they're restaurant quality so delicious! Plus the owner helped me find a cheaper five spice saving me money and they had everything I needed in stock I Love this market!

This is an "Asian food store". It has cuisine from several countries (Chinese, Japanese, Thai, etc). There are a couple of refrigerators and freezers, as well as a meat counter, but most of the stock is dry goods.
The space is really tight. Difficult to maintain social distancing. But that means the place is packed with good stuff. Noodles (wheat and rice), mixes for soups and beverages and stuff that a white person like me can't even guess what they are.
The reason for going to Que Huong Market (which is way out of my way, though easy to find) is the prices. Definitely get your soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, etc there. As an example: A small bottle of rice vinegar at the grocery store costs more than a full sized bottle at this market. Similar savings on everything. Get your rice here, too, for sure.
There are also many great treats.
It's a mom and pop kinda place, an older couple. I've never seen anyone else working the register. They are welcoming.
The parking lot is a bit tricky. Small and with the spaces in strange spots.
Over all, definitely recommend.

I go here to get lil chicken hand held pies, my coffee and odds and ends. If u aren't familiar with the culture but u be wanna make some good stuff, talk to them. Many times they have let me know what to buy and how to cook it when i want to try something new. They are very informative. There is also a place to get hot food in there as well. Support this small business if u can.

I love shopping here, besides WinCo this is my other favorite place. The owner always greets us on the way in. Being Polynesian our food is a little hard to find so that's why my family shops here. Just to list a few items: Taro root, coconut milk, Pisupo (corn beef) Lamb, Turkey tail, NZ Sausage, Cassavas, green bananas, lialia (saifun noodles) for sapasui. We're very thankful that this store provides some of our favorite island food.

I noticed this store on my google map and I was looking for some Chinese cooking wines among other items. I went to two other Asian stores near by and they had nothing I and Que Huong Market was the third and last on my list. I come in and was greeted warmly by the staff. I asked if they carried something and they showed me where everything was. Very courteous and friendly. I've been trying to find black bean sauce, the kind without the garlic that seems to be what most stores carry. They had it. I will be trying the food next time and I will surely being going back.

There are lil meat pies (empanadas) that get delivered there. They are so good. So good they sell out within hours. I try to buy at least 5 or more. They also have bahn mi sandwhiches and eggrolls meat or sweet banana st the counter. I find some of the drinks i use to buy when i was in Hawaii. That's always a nice treat. There is also a restaurant attatched for hot food options that is prepared fresh for you. I recommend.

Boy! These folks have utilized the most of their small space! The place is chock-full of culinary delights! It's an Asian shopping bonanza! From Filipino lumpia to Kim Chee to Pad Thai, to fried rice! Que Huong has a hot food counter that serves the typical Chinese food, cafeteria style, on weekdays. And pre-made to-go plates on Saturdays. And if you buy their fish, if you like, they will gut, scale and fry it for you on Fridays!
The Owner was very friendly and extremely helpful! I will shop there again!
