So many things to see,I know I missed something! Will definitely have to GO back! It’s just a ways from me. But-you can go online & order & they will ship to you. But, it’s so fun to actually see items & know exactly what you’re getting. And the people were SO friendly and helpful. Totally enjoyed this shopping experience!

I cannot say enough about the extraordinary service I received today at this Christian bookstore. From the moment I walked in, Mary and Tatiana provided outstanding customer service. Even though they usually don't have an engraver available on Sundays, they understood my urgency and made a call to see if someone could help. Nakaana came to the rescue and was able to engrave the Bible for me, which was a huge relief.

This is the last Christian bookstore in the area, and I live an hour round-trip away, but their willingness to go above and beyond made it all worthwhile. The store itself is absolutely adorable, and I ended up picking up a few extra items. Supporting this local business is a joy, not just because they're among the few left, but because their customer service is incredible. I'd choose this bookstore every time, even if there were multiple others competing for my business.

This is the first time I came and done business with Family Books &Gifts on Watt Ave in North Highlands.

I wanted to get a zippered carrying case for my Bible so it stays protected and stored safe when going to and from church or when it's sitting on a table at home when I am not studying it at the time.

Family Books has a lot of wonderful things and the staff there had been very helpful. I use the bus and getting to Family Books and Gifts was easy to get to on Watt Ave and returning back home. I most likely do business in the future with Family Books .

The young lady with the long black hair was helping another customer, she seemed nice, had a conversation with the customer, even prayed with the customer. When it was our turn to pay, she refused to help us, she told the old man that was following us around the store to ring us out. I did buy a cross and a bible, but it was not a great experience. I will not let that negativity flow in my heart. I forgive this fake of a Bible store. God does not judge, God accepts all race, God loves all. We are taught to forgive, so we forgive you for judging us just because we are not of the same race. You are not a true child of God. May God forgive you and may you find true peace in your heart. Will never come here again. Only reason why i went there was because we were taveling and i wanted to have the items on hand right away. Save time and money and buy on Amazon and have it shipped to home. Amazon has the same thing and cheaper.

I Liked the Store! We, in Stockton, no longer have a Christian Store, so when I walked in, I was Plesantly reminded of Enjoyable and Tranquil Memories of the past experiences. The Variety and Choice Selections, and Atmosphere of Peace. I work now in this area and I will after work hours visit Family Books and Gifts Again!

What a major blessing! Friendly, knowledgeable and professional staff. They shared over 5 versions, 3 print sizes and 4 leather colors which helped me to choose NASB super giant indexed brown leather. Before leaving, I browsed the store and found trickets, and gifts, and inspirational material. Oh my! This store has it all! What a blessing.

Being a Christian, I was looking for a t-shirt that expressed my beliefs and the way that I feel. I found it along with a license plate frame. Happy with both. Lots of Faith associated gifts. Friendly, helpful staff. Highly recommend.

I love this store. They have an awesome selection of Christian products, plus they are the only brick and mortar Christian bookstore for miles and miles in Amy direction. More importantly, the staff are all extremely kind and helpful no matter what you need. Even if they don't normally carry a particular book or product, they will do their best to find it and special order it for you.

This is such a cute little store with so much in it. I love the employees and they are tied to the church right next to them which is a really good church from what i read and here. But this is a good place to find any bible u need. They are very helpful in helping u find what ur looking for and if u dont quite know or understand the differences between the bibles, then thats ok. They are super friendly and will help explain it all to u. They were even nice and patient when my 3yr old decided to act up. My family and i love this this place! But u can buy bibles to kids stuff to card and jewelry to little gifts and signs to the daily bread cups. They are great!

The first time there was vastly different than this last visit. These was a sweet young lady and an older woman the first time.
Both were Super sweet...blessed!
First visit all were greatly blessed and felt presence of God..even prayed !
This last visit felt like I was in one of those stores that worship false gods. An older man was working.
I was profiled there just like in those stores .
Appeared as one custoner was also doing the same!
I spent over $100 there that day. I hope this won't happen again.

My in laws that live a few miles from us called them up and told them my son needed a Birthday present. So my in laws picked out a few things and these guys bagged it up complete with tissue paper, bows and wrapped it all up nice and neat so that when me and my son arrived it was all ready for him. I got on a video call with the in laws and opened it up right there in the store. ( It was his birthday after all) my son was so happy. I know you can have places do this for a charge usually way to much of a charge. ( I don't think they paid anything🥰) I don't know if the in laws paid anything for this, but thank you for taking the time and the care to make a little boys birthday all that much better. I haven't been here in years, so there were many changes. I was a little disappointed in the lack of selection of individual Bible book study guides compared to prior times. The number of Bibles and physical study guides to go with them was also noticeably less. The merchandise selection has been greatly increased. They have some REALLY cool stuff, though.

Love this store! Has a wide variety of bibles, daily devotionals, as well as Christian based books. A big plus for me is that they also offer Bible imprinting!! 😍 Also if they don’t have the item in store they are willing to order it.

An amazing Christian book store, they expanded their store and their choices as well. Many Bibles to choose from, gifts, notebooks, decorations, etc. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to buy a gift for someone or something for yourself as well.

I ordered a Bible online for pick up. When I got there the staff was so friendly and helpful. Because of all of the toxicity with in person shopping these days it so nice to have such friendly customer service. It’s a bit of drive but so worth it. Looking forward to shopping there in the future.

Kind staff, very well stocked. Looking at my receipt, I was really bummed to see they do not accept returns or exchanges. After buying the Filament Study Bible in a hardcover, I had realized a leather would have been better. It would have been only ten dollars more. They should really let people know about the return policy before purchasing.

The price for the hardcover Filament Bible is actually more than double the cost here than for what they sell for on Amazon (I was really surprised to see the price difference). So just do a quick search online before purchasing. I’m happy to support a local business (especially a CHRISTian store) but wow, +$40 more in price for what you get online is pretty high.

I also purchased a small rock with a verse for Fathers Day (they have a ton of stuff) and I picked up some Gospel tracts along with those bookmark strings you have in your Bible. Oh yes and also a leather keychain for my brothers birthday. Well stocked in little gifts but I’d like to see more books, especially from guys like Spurgeon and Tozer. I mainly saw devotionals.. maybe I missed the books. Good stock of study Bibles though.

I've lived in the area for 10yrs and have never noticed this store before, but it was so pleasant and has many cute trinkets and such available for gifting to a loved one. The staff is so warm and inviting as well. I spent over an hour in the store out of pure joy of what they had to offer and chit chat with the staff.

I’m so glad there is a Christian books & gift store again! The one near my home shut down a couple of years ago, and I had to travel far just to browse in one. I still have to drive a bit to get here, but it’s worth it. They offer a huge variety of bibles and sweet, unique, gifts and souvenirs. The only thing I wish is that the bible engravings were free with the purchase of your bible. They are very expensive. Or at least if you purchase a certain amount of products in one transaction, it should be free. It doesn’t have to be mentioned unless the person reaches the “magic” amount. That would be cool. All-in-all, I love the atmosphere, the store size, the good-sized parking lot, and the neat clothing/accessories. They even have a couple of kitchen items for Christmas!

The staff was very helpful and pleasant. I said I was looking for a gift for a recently ordained deacon and was shown the perfect gift and card. The gift wrapping was excellent and the service was prompt. I will recommend this store to friends and family.
