The workers are pleasant and helpful. However, someone is puting the price tags and security tags on most of the clothing in terrible spots. I wanted to buy some pieces, but because the tags are not being put in a seam I would be buying an item with a large hole already in it and depending on the fabric this can cause tears. I had to leave the clothes section behind and won't be able to buy any tagged clothing from there until this is corrected.

Pretty cool place to find great items, mostly clothes.
I dislike the attitude of the employees. I've bought from these establishments before and sometimes the cashier forgets to remove the anti theft tags...so I have to return and show them my receipt and THEN the tag is removed.
On this particular day, march 14, 2024, 7pm there was a big line, and I understand that you can do your part to make the cashiers life a bit easier. So I removed the hangers from clothes and jeans I was about to purchase. When it was my turn, a Latina lady, maybe around 22 years old was gonna ring up my items. So I told her "hey could you please make sure to remove the anti theft tags. Thank you." And she has the audacity to say " yEaH JusT bEcaUse yOu sAiD tHaT I'M gOnnA LeAvE tHeM oN 🙄" Like whatt???. I was purchasing well over $300, helped her by removing the hangers and even said please and thank you. Some people don't know how to act polite it seems.

My experience with Ross Dress for Less was disappointing due to several issues. The first concern was the quality of customer service. During my visit, I found it difficult to locate staff members for assistance. When I did manage to find someone, their attitude was unprofessional and unhelpful, making me feel unwelcome as a customer.

Another troubling aspect was the inconsistency in the store's organization and cleanliness. It was evident that the store was poorly managed, with items scattered and disorganized throughout the aisles, making it challenging to find what I needed.

In addition to these concerns, there were incidents that gave me the impression of racial bias. I observed that certain customers were treated differently based on their appearance or ethnicity. This type of discrimination is entirely unacceptable and tarnishes the reputation of any business.

In conclusion, my experience at Ross Dress for Less was marked by poor customer service, unprofessionalism, and what appeared to be racial bias. These issues must be addressed for the store to provide a welcoming and inclusive environment for all customers. This location on Watt Ave and Elkhorn

today 10/05/2023 at 11:37 am my sister and I visited Ross on North Highlands, bought things for a large amount and wanted to additionally return other clothes, but the seller (woman) was very rude to us, did not want to make a return and said to get in line again (although we had already defended our turn and wanted to additionally make a return). The cashier in an aggressive form talked to me, insulted and said racist slogans because we are not Americans. I hope she will be dismissed . And also a question to the guard who just stood and looked me and my sister being insulted by their employee.

Today I was buying some stuff 40 minutes before closing and cashier Leticia I think was very rude to me. I didn’t do anything bad and didn’t say anything that was provoking to that but her manner she talked to me inexcusable. I left some item aside on my way because I changed my mind and she told me in command and rude tone to bring to her. The same was with shopping cart I didn’t put on right spot and she again with same rude tone told me to put back. Okey, I can put back it’s not hard to me, but way she talked to me as to customer is unacceptable. I’m customer that brings money to store, and I want good customer service as well. I hope her manager gonna take care of situation like that and train cashiers to provide good customer service to shoppers.

Well I shop Ross stores only for three items ( dress shoes, wallet and hats) out of which most of the time is for shoes. And my shoe shopping experience at Ross almost all the time is more than good. I mean they have plenty of choice for me at least and very fair prices. It might be a year or two old style but I am also old school and they just have the kind of shoes that I prefer. So to be honest I love Ross for the shoes. I am not a very rich person but if I was , I would still shop Ross for shoes.

Long lines and only one cashier her manager was in eyesight but didn't come to help the one cashier. I walked over to the Manager and kindly told the manager that it wasn't right for her to not be observant of the long line to come help or get her help that was her Job.

My biggest issue is for a store that sells a lot of super heavy and breakrable items, they don't allow carts outside and offer zero help with carrying heavy items to cars. For a pregnant woman that's always shopping for home goods this is such a huge inconvenience. They need to rethink customer service.

The girl with no edges and her mask pulled down acted as if me trying to purchase items while her in the security guard laughed and joked, was an inconvenience. She looked at me waiting line and continued to laugh and play around instead of ringing me up. Ross prices are low but the quality of the staff and service shouldn’t be.
