Swung by to do some Thrifting, arrived around noon… and it looks like the shop is completely closed. I know it’s only 30 minutes after it should be open, but I guess if you come by it might not be open at all…? I checked the website and looked for anything that said maybe they’re closed just for today, but didn’t see anything. Hopefully I’ll get another chance to actually shop here.

It’s 415pm on a Wednesday afternoon and they’re closed. Everything is stacked in the aisles inside so they’ve obviously been closed for a while. No note saying “Be back soon” or “Took the day off”. What a waste of time.

NO BIKES: JUST DELICIOUS VINTAGE:
Any negative reviews about bicycles are woefully out-of-date and incorrect. Mike is the sole owner of Eclectica offering the best in Vintage Clothing, Collectibles, Home Furnishings and Hollywood treasures. The previous bicycle guy was only sharing space AND THAT DUDE IS LONG GONE FOR OVER A YEAR.
Super-friendly owner Mike is an exceptional "finder" with the best eye for really cool oddments. He is engaging and very intuitive in matching your needs with his amazing inventory!
I felt like a Muggle falling into Diagon Alley - this store is wall to wall magic!
Mike always helps me find the BEST costumes for Halloween and several stage performances. Lots of T.V. Shows send their Props people to Eclectica to find just the right item.
You gotta check this place out whether you want vintage New Kids on the Block dolls or a Jamaican sundress or an elegant silk-lined hat from the 60's; Mike has it all and more at Eclectica!

This place is SO COOL and Mike, the owner, is an incredible person. He helped my friend and I find pieces for costumes, and got so involved and spent so much time bringing us the perfect options.
This place is an amazing resource with the coolest finds. Definitely stop here when you can!

This is such a great antique store! There are a lot of vintage pieces available from clothing to house decor. The space is small and there is little room to walk in. It is a bit cluttered so you have to dig your way in which i personally liked from antique stores, it adds a bit of fun. The owner is so kind and helpful during my visit. Overall would recommend.

It could be your crazy grandpa's attic. In a good way. This tiny thrift store tucked away just north of the NoHo Arts District on Lankershim Boulevard is as crammed full of character as its shelves are with items awaiting your purchase. You can't miss the orange painted stucco storefront with dozens of for-sale items leaning against it. And the bearded, blond-haired gentleman who runs the store is as chill as he is knowledgeable about the store's contents. He'll check in on you every 10 minutes or so to make sure you haven't dropped dead, but otherwise you're free to explore this above-ground Cave of Wonders on your own. That allows the slightly weird but familiar vibes of this place to get under your skin. There are board games, vintage cameras, racks of clothing, and lots of kitschy objects d'art . The prices are a bit higher than expected, but if you've got a padded wallet and you're looking for a place with more character than your standard Goodwill or Salvation Army store, this tiny outpost of curiosities and vintage bric-a-brac will definitely appeal to you. Recommended for hoarders with an artistic bent and those looking for ancient, cursed artifacts. Or a silly hat.

BUYERS BEWARE. At least one bike sold out of this store was stolen from a nearby resident. She posted about it on Nextdoor, saying "I had a my beach cruiser bike stolen too and when my fiancé was looking for a new bike for me he saw my bike on CL.
So he called them and they wanted 209 bucks for it and said it was vintage lolol it was a 15 year old bike I paid 99 at target.. it looked vintage anyway it was at a store on lankershim called Electra it's near in & out. It has a bright orange paint on the wall it's a junky sort of place. I went to NOHO police and filed a report told them it was at the store & they went & got it back for me. Bummer was they replaced my 100 cloud9 seat with a crappy seat. I have a really bad back. Anyway check CL or that store. They have kids steel bikes for them and they resell them. Noho police know of them too."

Was closed when it was supposed to be open. I found it on Google Maps as a place where bikes are selling but it appeared there are no bikes there...

I've tried five days in a row now to visit this shop to purchase a bicycle.
Each day upon calling, if I get through, multiple times mind you, I hear"I'm sorry, we're not open today try tomorrow."
To give the benefit of the doubt, two of those days it was pouring down rain.
That's fair and acceptable.
But having your hours posted online,
And continuously not being open?
I don't know how this business stays afloat. Sunk before the first voyage.

This place is small, super-friendly, great prices, awesome service. Fancy it ain't- but we're talking bikes. I don't need fancy. Ron & Henry are terrific. I'll come here every time.

Ron is the MAN!!! Dude sells some awesome vintage bikes and is just the friendliest guy I've met. As soon as you meet him you feel like you are just seeing a long time friend that you haven't seen in awhile.
I went there to get a bike for my girlfriend and I don't regret it, this is definitely one awesome hole in the wall. I will definitely be coming back here for my bike purchases in the future.
