The beer is overpriced and mediocre which is exactly what I would expect at a theme park.

The bartenders are very strict on ID and ensuring 1 drink per ID which is mildly annoying but I understand the policy in a general sense.

The bartender was friendly, but just unbelievably slow at preparing a drink, I ordered a draught beer which including payment should have taken seconds after he confirmed my age, not minutes.

Still please I got to have a Duff at Moe's.

The drinks accidentally fell 5 minutes after we bought them and they made us pay for new ones. They said that they’re strict about drinks and I had to bring an employee that witnessed it for them to remake them because there are some bad customers even he remembered us and he remembered what we ordered. It doesn’t seem like a place who values customers.

Nice bar, but duff beer isn't the best and will cost you $15 a plastic cup but it has its attractions. Surprisingly the chicken meal was quite good and reasonably priced.

I really wanted to try this place since I love the Simpsons, and most of all I really wanted to love it, BUT although the place looks straight out of the Simpsons, the food is not that great, it really lacks flavor, though I gotta give it to them for presentation.

Moe's Tavern is a bar in Universal Studios Hollywood. This place looks just like Moe’s Tavern from the show! It's super cute and they have yes playing clips of homer at Moe’s. We visited this place during our first Universal Studios Hollywood trip. The bartender was super funny and seemed relaxed even though he was he only one behind the counter with so many people wanting something. They serve alcohol, non-alcoholic drinks, pretzels, waffles, turkey legs, burgers and so on. The food was average and there’s nothing to say about the price of the food at the theme parks like Universal Studios Hollywood (it’s always a bit high). The customer service was okay.

Loved Moe's, I had the Krusty Burger. It was so good, the beer was great too. The establishment was so awesome, I love all the details.
My only complaint is one of the bartenders was not having it, he just didn't seem like he wanted to do anything. Most of the cast I saw were so nice, but this dude just wasn't enjoying himself there. I get it, we all have bad days but he just didn't seem friendly at all. My sister inlaw tried to get a mug souvenir and he didn't want to get her one. Told her to do it, so she asked him again to grab her one, he did then but wasn't happy about it. Other than that, I love Moe's.

Ok in terms of immersion, mostly just nice as a place to sit down to eat your food. I got a Duff beer and it was ok, nothing special. However the $13 price tag was pretty crazy.

moes tavern is based on the series 100%. the feeling, as a series lover, is really incredible to stand there. but the beer prices (16$) make every german heart bleed. these are clearly overpriced. I actually wanted to get out of the bar drunk and not poor.

First thing I got when I walked in was a Duff beer. Sadly when I went in they only had lite but still, it was a great first experience either way. The decor is set to act as the actual Moe's and has memorabilia from the show encompassing Moe's history in the show.

Si eres fan de los Simpsons o simplemente los has visto alguna vez, no debes perderte bajo ningún concepto visitar la Taberna de Moe. Es una reproducción exacta del lugar; el techo, la mesa de billar, las bebidas (muy rico el Flameado de Moe aunque lleno de azúcar), la máquina del amor...
Una vez allí, sentirás la imperiosa necesidad de tomar una cerveza 🍺.

Al lugar solo le falta tener escondidos osos panda 🐼 en el almacén como tenia Moe en un episodio.

Eso sí recordad que si en LA nada es barato, aquí mucho menos. Pero bien merece la pena pagarlo, y sentirte por un rato parte de la serie.

You're paying a lot just for a couple of photos of Moe's Tavern from the Simpsons, but it can still be fun. It is definitely strange being in the place made famous by tv. Expect to pay sixteen dollars for a Duff Beer. If you pick up the phone on the bar, you can hear crank calls from Bart Simpson

Really cool environment, but be prepared to pay... You have to have at least one Duff beer. They have "Flaming Moes" for the kids. Make sure you pick up the Red Phone at the left end of the Bar... Might get a prank call from Bart!

The effort that is put into this world is incredible. You dead set feel like you have been teleported to the world of the simpsons. All the staff are so in character, and the building is on point with the show, even has the love tester in it. Beer is about $13, which detracted heavily from the experience. Especially the fact that the price is no advertised anywhere.
We came on a somewhat quiet day so the wait was relatively short, this helped our overall universal studio's experience.

Really cool place to chill after a long walk around the park. It has an ok selection of beers but what makes it great is that it's connected to great food, fried chicken and mash potatoes combo or chicken and waffles and could wash all that down with your favorite beer.
