Man working the self checkout is extremely rude. He refused to give bags until after everything was scanned… which was a lot of things. So by the time I got my bags and loaded stuff in them the weight on the machine needed an employee login… so then I had to wait for him to get down talking with his coworker about what they’re doing after work to get him to help…. What should have been a 2-3 minute break experience became a 10 minute one. Horrible customer service always and they can’t seem to figure out how to keep highly consumed items on the shelf instead of ordering more of those products. Whole store needs training or to be replaced by new employees at this point.

Ghetto people in and outside of this store..you need security in the parking lot and a whole new mission to teach our neighbors not to be so freaking classless while shopping..ease turn your speaker phones off while shopping..wth...I hate coming here...I always see drama. too bad seriously now it is even worse since all the closures

Im not really a smart & final guy so today i had a gift card so i was forced to go. i think it is more expensive than food 4 less but not as expensive as Vallarta. so i go there i saw some empty shelve not sure if they were going to refill them or they going out of business.

My shopping experience was i say ok to normal until i found out their parking lot is very limited so i had to leave my shopping cart half way until i drove my my back in to their parking lot limit. other than that employees dont even say excuse me when they are going by with a loaded cart of products. they pretend they didnt see you. so lucky this is not my regular store.

I frequent the store regularly, and I had the worst experience with the cashier Erik. As I entered the line behind another guest who proceeded to take her items from her shopping cart, Erik stated his register was closed. The individual was vividly angry because she had already started to offload her items on the conveyer belt. Erik then stated to her he would proceed to check her out. Erik turned to me and stated his register was closed. Erik then put a closed sign behind the lady he began to help. I proceeded to go through another check out register. As I waited for my single item to be rang up, the cashier had to step away from the register to locate a barcode to finish out her transaction with another which took a couple of minutes. Erik, then proceeds to open his register because a line had begun to form. I was appalled by his actions! I stated to Erik, why didn’t he assist me first, which would have been the correct in which the line had been formed, also that he seen I only had one item when I was already at his register behind the lady. He then stated he should have been on lunch, he was just trying to assist the cashier who stepped away to locate the barcode. Again, I was next in line but yet he assisted customers in back of me first. I spoke with a manager who was very apologetic which I totally appreciated. She spoke with Erik as I addressed the situation and all he could do was grin as if the situation was a joke. Erik showed a great deal of disrespect, he treated me with no dignity, and overall the experience caused a great deal of anger! I am a loyal customer and never experienced this behavior from any staff at this location! I truly hope the problem is looked into by corporate, the store has surveillance cameras which captured the whole ordeal and a manager was notified immediately. Training would be absolutely applicable for better quality of customer service from Erik the cashier.

I like this smart and final.its really stopped it up since Ralph's shut down. They have pretty good deals compared to other markets and the employees are friendly enough. This location needs a lot of improvement with customer service. Cashiers always seem upset. There is a young woman with dark hair that has colored highlights (someone posted a picture of her about 2 months) who not only provides bad customer service but is also extremely rude.
The best thing about this place is the kind and polite homeless man that likes to help customers by loading groceries or putting back carts. Smart and Final needs to hire people like him!

Me encanta la tienda en sí pero muy decepcionada del personal . Resulta que compré una bebidas lipton y estaban vencidas desde agosto 12 hoy es septiembre 5 voy a la tienda le pregunto a un joven y me hizo hacer una larga línea con las cajeras de más de 20 minutos para que la cajera se riera y me dijo solo cámbiala y ya el otro joven me veía con cara de risa . Pregunto ud no capacitan a sus empleados a tener un buen costumer service? Pienso que deberían revisar las fechas de caducidad es su trabajo siempre reviso y esta vez me confíe y wow sorprendida con la actitud de este joven . Como tienda deberían cuidar a sus clientes y no tratarnos como basura.

Esta señora me agredió físicamente en la tienda, la policía llego y el manager dijo que no funcionaban las cámaras. Lo reporte al corporativo y dicen que ell video si existe que puedo continuar con la policía porque ellos no pueden hacer nada! Solo tengan cuidado ella esta muy agresiva por cosas insignificantes. Y no está capacitada para servicio al cliente. Yo solo quería retornar unas papas qué se veían bien por fuera y al cortarlas estaban podridas. El manager, otra empleada sw me hecharon encima como perros.

Went there today. A complete madhouse with only 2 of 4-5 cashier stands open. They have installed about 20 self help checkouts now. Since I and most people go to buy in bulk or to stock up it is completely ridiculous! Won't go there EVER AGAIN. Will try ALDI.

Rude elder lady, 70s, at register 4, was so rude to all the customers in front of me. Then I had to experience her rudeness as well. She is not a very good representation of customer service. Like she's angry she has to work so late in life that she takes it out on the customers.?! When I brought it to her supervisors attention, he simply ignored me. Great job you 2. 🙄

I went for produce and found most of what I needed. I went to a second Smart and Final and got the remaining items. The only thing they didn't have were loose carrots. The stores were clean and well stocked. Good service as well.

Having the worst weather time of the year, it is unacceptable to have the employees and customers working and shopping without air conditioning. I asked the cashier, then the manager and all they said was "the problem has been reported".
Not the first time the store shoes lack of organization.

Little Tony's used to be My go-to pizza place. So glad I rediscovered it again. Best part is the kitchen's open till 11:30 and the restaurant doesn't close till midnight.

I was served by the cashier, who was very unpleasant. She was chatting with a colleague while serving customers. When I had only one box in my cart, she asked me, is that the only one? I said yes, then she walked around to look around the cart to see if I was lying. It was not very pleasant.

I have had good and bad experiences at this store. The store is large ,clean, organized. The grocery carts are usually in good condition. There is a good size parking lot. They do carry some bulk items, like Costco, so It could benefit a large group of people.

Please hire people to assist customers on the floor and over the phone. The phone is by the cashier and sometimes, when they pick it up and say they will go check an item, they don't, and leave the customer, like me, on the phone until I realize they forgot me and go elsewhere.

I usually have a good experience at this location.... but not this time. The lady who checked my groceries out yesterday was extremely rude and shamed me for mentioning the higher prices and lack of products. The meat section was mostly bare. The meat manager was very nice and explained the shortage. I understand they missed several deliveries for a variety of reasons. But when I mentioned that to my checker, she said she was only responsible for the bakery department. She snapped at me saying that she wasn't responsible for the deliveries or any other lack of products in the store. I remember a time when the person checking me out asked nicely: "did you find everything you were looking for?" Not any more.... Just a snapish lady with a bad attitude taking my money and doling out insults. I have many places to shop in this area, I don't need to be treated badly by some nasty clerk. I've shopped this location for decades..... NEVER again! They have lost this customer.

This is where we shop sometimes. The cashiers are always friendly. Today I wanted to give a shout out to a certain cashier but I can't remember her name. If I find my receipt , i will add her name later. I wanted her to know that she is appreciated for her patience with my almost 3 year old boy. He didn't want to let the Christmas cookies down on the conveyor belt for her to scan. He started to throw a tantrum when we tried. She was so patient and walked all the way around the register to scan JUST cookies. I know this might seem little but I'm a mom of 4 . two of my kids are toddler boys and whenever I go somewhere with those two, it's a hit or miss. Sometimes the experience is good and sometimes they throw tantrums and I just want to leave where I am fast as possible. She doesn't realize she made that moment so much easier for me. Thank you.

Good store and produce. Getting liquor requires being in line and then getting a rep which is kind of inconvenient for the cashiers since they have to keep going back and forth to unlock it constantly which slows down checkout in my opinion
