This Starbucks looked really active at social and community causes.

It also had a designated coffee remains container for people to use as a fertilizer.

The whole ambiance made us feel good about the environmental care not just spoken but for taking action for it.

Another Starbucks review? From someone who only went to Peet’s for more than 15 years? It’s funny how things can change and for me, it mostly started with the food. It’s better at Starbucks and the coffee is good enough to keep me coming back. This version of Starbucks has a great look and very easy access since there is so much parking available around the shopping center. The people working here are nice and the service was quick. Yes, it’s much like all the other Starbucks stores but in my mind, that’s a good thing.

Terrible service, mean barista, doesn't care about his job at all. Iced coffee tastes like used chewing tobacco and was hot at the bottom, unmixed, and melted into a puddle of vomit mix. Cannot get your own straws, have to request them from the wicked witch making this disgusting slop. Worst Starbucks experience I've ever had. Will not return. This Starbucks only slightly smells like urine and only had trash out front, no human feces, hence the 2 stars for atmosphere.

I went to this starbucks today and ask for pink drink but it taste like only almond milk. Every time I order pink drink here, it taste different and sometimes tasteless and if I customize a drink they always do it wrong. I'm truly disappointed

This location, 1900 Contra Costa Blvd in Pleasant Hill is a filthy homeless haven. They allow one homeless man to live here during hours of operation on a daily basis. Now that it’s cold outside, there are multiple homeless inside, and all of the outdoor chairs/tables are full of homeless after hours. Area not clean and smells. Tried multiple times to contact a district manager, with no response. If you’re the owner of this place, why is it other Starbucks aren’t having this issue, and why are you allowing this!!!! It’s a restaurant for Christ sake. Just gross!

Stop by to pass the time, was there 130pm to 230pm on wednesday afternoon, hardly no customers, some walk in, but i like the symetric walls and picture frames, by the time i left, it started to have lines for orders, this particular location is super busy on weekeneds though, excellent location 🤗

Coffee is always perfect here. I have always enjoyed the coffee from Starbucks, but unfortunately, the location in Safeway at Sun Valley Mall seems to have some issues with the quality of their coffee drinks. It's surprising that none of the Starbucks managers have addressed this problem yet. It can be disappointing to spend time shopping around the mall and then paying for a weak and flavorless cup of coffee. It's unclear what the reason is behind this inconsistency.

It's a Starbucks so the selection of drinks is good. The baristas do take longer than I'm used to at other locations, might just need more experience. My daughters drink took a long time to come out.

Been coming here for years, but no more. This has become a homeless hangout INSIDE the store. The smell is unbelievable and I’m pretty sure the entire back bench along the windows is now unsanitary based on what I was smelling and seeing. I leaned on the tall center table thinking that at least that area was clean and but nope it was sticky and now my forearms wreak and have wash up when I get to work. I’m done with this location. Hope corporate sees this and does something about it.

I usually don’t write reviews, but felt it was needed. I ordered 2 iced drinks. Both with light ice. The 1st iced Matcha Tea latte had a lot of ice, so the barista remade the drink. She seemed a little annoyed. Then I get my 2nd drink, and it’s filled with 1/2 foam. So the cup was only 1/2 filled with the drink. I said something to the girl, and she again was annoyed, and said she would have to remake it again. I said forget it, because I had to go. I go to Starbucks a lot, and never had customer service that bad.

Absolutely totally rude person making the drinks...not worth calling him a barista cause he does not deserve that. I know workers are hard to come by but Starbucks this guy is bad for business..I will never come here again. I love the way they make my coffee, however, very difficult to order ahead. They always have, cannot order ahead on. Why I don’t know, there’s always plenty of staff. This past weekend it was closed until Monday. Seems like they decided they didn’t want to work last minute!

This location could and should probably get five stars, but it's always overcrowded, which is ironic because the Safeway in the same shopping center has a Starbucks. This particular location has high noise pollution levels. Even though this is a larger Starbucks, it's usually hard to find a free table: you're competing with the students from DVC, the regulars, and business entrepreneurs who use the place as a popup office. And quite frequently, there is a long line that goes to the door if not through it.

I'm not a fan of Starbucks coffee. I have to really be desperate to even step inside of a Starbucks, but this is a pretty convenient location if you can find parking. And Nations is next door - what's not to love about that?

I'm here this Sunday Morning and the Lady behind the counter must've been having a BAD Morning, she didn't ask my name at all and I put the exact amount of money on the counter being all that I can afford and she EMBARRASSED me by asking if I wanted anything else in front of everyone, when I specifically told Annelise and the crew we're very RUDE and could learn to treat BLACK PEOPLE with a little more RESPECT, I won't come back here, What a, SHAME to BE TREATED THIS WAY due to the COLOR of MY SKIN!

Great friendly staff know how to mix a good drink my fiance I love to drink it was an iced white mocha 2/3 decaf so she can still have her coffee when pregnant lol The taste is so nice and strong. Also iced coffees come with three shots unlike other drinks currently she just gets 2/3 decaf but regularly it's the best option if you want the most caffeine

The big head white guy with glasses at the register around noon doesn't communicate the custom drinks to the barista or the person making the drinks, as a result wrong drink. My girlfriend was upset about this and asked the barista to make the drink how she ordered it. The girl barista with the glasses remade the drink the way my gf ordered it and was okay about it but the people working that shift all had an attitude when it was their mistake for getting the order incorrect and being dismissive about a customers request for an order. I wrote this review cause it ruined my birthday with my girlfriend. I warn customers that the people that work the noon shift on October 26, 2020, which was a Monday hate their job as Starbucks employees, and are bratty unhappy human beings. They are not bringing a positive Starbucks experience. I never understand how some people who work for a brick and mortor corporate company storefront act like they own the place.

Quite dirty on the outside, they don't really keep up appearances which isn't to welcoming. Inside it was much better but like I said, walking up to a place and it's covered in filth isn't exactly the most appealing.

They get an extra star for staying open late. That's awesome as I like coffee late in the day. But be weary, they start breaking down their food window around 6:15pm, and usually say they only have what you see after that (which everybody whose ever worked at a Starbucks knows it usually untrue).

This Location Is NOT A Starbucks But A Homeless Shelter. Filthy Bathrooms That Homeless Use As A Shower And To Shoot Up Drugs. The Smell Of Urine Outside Is Horrible, And The Best Thing Is The Pleasant Hill Police Department Will Tell You "There Is Nothing We Can Do, Homeless Have Rights Just Like Everyone Else". I was disappointed. The workers did not smile, seemed like their duties were more pressing than me. Out of sugar and low on everything else, fixing station dirty, sticky and not what I expected from Starbucks. I won't stop there again
