We've been here several times and always been happy with their food and service.
Tonight I ordered the pastrami burger with the fried zucchini. The burger was delicious and everyone agreed that the fried zucchini was the best we've ever had.
My wife ordered the BLT which was great, and our friend ordered the tuna melt.
Everything was excellent!

My first visit! Pleasantly surprised. Was a group of retired ladies enjoying their meals playing cards. Food was great! We ordered an avocado burger and a patty melt. Sides were french fries and zucchini. The "small" sides were enough for four people or more. Yes we took the leftovers home. Looking forward to our next visit. Large menu, will enjoy eating our way through.

Great walk up diner with drive through. They have burgers, breakfast and Mexican. Everything is good but… the Pastrami breakfast burrito is always my favorite pick me up on a cold shitty morning.
The bacon burger and chili cheese fries are enough for lunch and dinner!

Are you tired of fast food prices and sub-par food? Time to visit Everest Burgers! We have returned several times. You cannot beat this place for a decent breakfast, sandwich, burger, appetizers or big salad, all very affordable. For sure no one will go hungry. Definitely worth trying, especially f you have a family and/or guests to feed. The portions are very generous! There are a few items I have tried that I feel could use some improvement, in regard to ingredients and preparation, but this is where individual preferences will come in. Overall, Everest does a good job, you will have to find your favorites.

Their food lacks flavor. The chili is so watered down that it doesn't even taste like chili. I asked the manager for a little extra chili on my fries, which they turned down. Go to Tommy's instead, this place is gross.

This place sucked. The chicken sandwich was pan-fried. Not Char broiled as advertise. They put a shit load of mustard n mayo on my sandwich. The pastrami sandwich was dry n nasty.

Never coming back to this establishment. Just stopped by on 09/28/24 and was charged $40 for a salad, shake and 2 garden burgers. Absolutely ridiculous of price gouging. This used to be a not so expensive place to get food. Those days have ended. What makes it worse the beached whale at the window is strict on charging an extra $.75 for condiments. Even though I just paid $40. Absolutely outrageous. This is the downfall of everest.

Great breakfast burritos. Reminds me of back in the day when I was a teen living in the San Gabriel Valley.

Went again for lunch 2x. Got a pastrami and I'll say I've had a lot out here in SCV...this is good. Not great but it's the beat out here. I will come here foe that when I'm craving a pastrami sandwich.

Came again for there gyro and added fried zucchini. Yes! This is totally like back when I was a teenager. Great flavor.

I can wait to come again for something else to try.

If you thought Jimmy Deans had a long drive thru wait time, wait till I tell you about Everest! I waited around 20 min in drive thru to eat a pastrami sandwich that tasted rather bland.

I've been going here for years, and I recommend their avocado bacon cheeseburger, and the gyro. They also make great breakfast burritos. The pancakes are a little dry, but still better than McDonalds pancakes.

The drive thru line will take about 5-15 minutes on average. Sometimes upwards of 20+ if you're unlucky.

I don't recommend you order the fries. They're not bad, just very average, and it is a huuuge portion. But if you just want something to mindlessly munch on, go for it.

I think for a fast food place, they have the best shakes. Their shakes are better than In-N-Out, Carls, and Wendys, even better than the Habit imo. I'm not saying they're amazing or life changing, but they are superior to the competition.

It's also a decent place to hangout inside. Unlike all the other fast food places, it still has that 90's aesthetic that is just superior to the modern design (like the McDonalds/Carls down the street).

Overall, it's a little pricey (what isn't these days) but the food is probably better quality than most other burger places.

The worst customer service and a horrible cook with a bad attitude. If you return an item not correctly prepared he'll through a temper tantrum. Very rude and nasty guy. There are many better places to eat. Avoid Everest at all costs!

It's sad when a place with good food has bad customer service.
Went to the drive through and when we got home we realized that one of our items was missing. We called and asked for a refund. Were told that they could only give store credit which is asinine. I asked that either I be refunded or they can deliver the missing item. The manager never got on the phone, instead had the girl who picked up passing info back and forth. Was told that the manager would "call me back in a few minutes". She took my number and I'm still waiting an hour later.

I was disappointed with the lack of customer service from the staff, and the lack of professionalism in a food establishment. I placed a order and simply asked if the ingredients are mild or spicy, the representative barely spoke English and disregarded my question. My food was rushed, and the additional condiments requested were not provided. The drive thru service is just as bad as the dine in service. Every time I come into this place no one Is ever friendly or courteous. The staff makes you feel like you are inconveniencing them when asking questions about the ingredients in their food. If I come to spend money in your establishment treat me with professionalism. Businesses like this must understand that food allergies can be very delicate to some and must treat people with compassion and understanding. We are the people that keep your business open when we spend our money in your restaurant. I don't trust a business that handles my food without the proper care. I will not be going back nor will I recommend others to go there either.

Everest has been one of my favorite places for decades. This particular location has good food but today I did have a couple of complaints. The parking is usually always packed because of the gym and sometimes I just end up going someplace else because I can’t leave my service truck out of sight. The person working the fryer is handling the food barehanded and it seems a little unprofessional. If you come here on a Thursday it’s packed with people playing bingo and there isn’t any place for customers to sit, you have to stand and wait for your food for takeout and it’s not the fastest place. The food is always delicious so I guess that’s why it is kind of a bummer.

Food is always good. My issue is with the drive through. They have BLINDING lights in the bushes aimed right at the level where it shines in your eyes. Not sure whose bright idea it was to direct them that way but it's terrible when you are waiting to order and can't see to even drive.

I got the pastrami sandwich with extra pastrami. It was even more than I bargained for. It's so hard to find a good pastrami sandwich, but this place totally nails it.

I don't know what the deal is with their drive thru. If you get in it, expect to sit in it for 45 minutes minimum. Once you're in the drive thru, there's no way to get out of it. So at that point you're at their mercy.

I thought it was an unusual occurrence the first time when I sat in the drive thru for 57 minutes, but when I went back the following week, I sat in the drive thru for over an hour. Today is the third time this has happened, as I've been in this line for almost 40 minutes so far.

The food is really good tho.

Breakfast burritos are always my measuring stick when it comes to morning dining. The bacon breakfast burrito is probably the best that I've had out here in Canyon Country. Priced well, tastes authentic (real eggs and bacon) and it was pretty filling. I'd come back to this place.

Takes 30 minutes to go through the drive thru in the evening with only 2 cars in front of me. Decided to call it in next time, with limited parking, I walked with a cane and called and asked do they do curbside they said no so I had to wait again 30 minutes in the drive-thru to avoid walking a good distance to go into the restaurant. Food cold doesn't help to call it in unless you can park away and walk back. They could care less, seems like a bunch of high schoolers running the place.

I had been going to the restaurant in the mornings for a while and hadn't had any issues for the last couple of months. However, whenever I went in the evenings, it seemed like there was always an issue. Today, the issue was when I called to find out what comes on the grilled chicken sandwich. The person told me there was tomato, mayonnaise, and Swiss cheese. I simply said, "Can you change the Swiss cheese for American or cheddar?" He said, "No problem." When I got there, they showed me on the register where they charged me $1.75 for sour cream, but he said it was because I wanted cheese. I looked at the cashier and said, "Didn't you answer the phone and tell me that cheese was included?" He said, "Yes, I was mistaken." I replied, "So take the cheese off then." They said, "OK, we'll tell the cook," and then they came back and said, "We don't like to waste food, so we're gonna leave it on this time." The cashier kept making comments about charging me for cheese next time, but I repeated multiple times that I didn't care about the cheese because they had told me it came on the sandwich. They gave me a closed bag, and I asked if there were napkins in there, and he said yes. When I went to the car, the fries were ice cold, and there were no napkins, so I brought the fries back in. The team lead, I guess, came back with some more fries, which were barely lukewarm. I shook my head because now I was going to look like the problem because I didn't want to pay three dollars for lukewarm fries that would be cold by the time I got home. I decided to go ahead and keep the fries, but she made it her business to tell me again that next time I come, they're going to charge me for cheese. They just don't get it. They've been petty over some cheese that I didn't ask for, and it was their mistake. They gave me cold fries twice and charged me 14 bucks. Needless to say, their service is going downhill. Maybe it's because the night shift doesn't have sufficient management. I don't know which one it is, but it's definitely time to change restaurants.

Went through drive through, ordered a double bacon cheeseburger, paid extra for both cheese and bacon, was nearly $10. When i paid they did not even give me my receipt so i could not complain. I got home and the burger was literally just 2 patties and lettuce. No cheese, no bacon. I paid extra for toppings they did not include. Feel really ripped off.

A friend turned me on to this place. Before that I only saw the Billboard for it on Whites/Soledad.

I can say without a doubt that this place has amazing food. Kinda pricey when it adds up (but what isn't pricey nowadays?). The Drive Thru is what we use every time. It gets a bit crowded and depending on when you go, you can be waiting in your car between 10-15 sometimes. So if you see a BIG line, I suggest eating inside. The employees are great and the location is really nice.
