Had a truly bizarre, unprofessional experience at this store. I do not recommend that anyone purchase an appliance here, unless you are happy waiting for weeks with no communication or follow-up.

Went in on 11/22 to purchase a new wall oven. Salesperson named Al assisted me. I selected an oven and set up a time for their installer to come to my house to take the appropriate measurements, which occurred on 11/26. After measuring, the installer stated that they could do the installation and that the sales team would follow up.

This never happened. So, after waiting over a week, I called the store myself on 12/4 to ask what was going on. Al promised to call me back. He never did. So I called again the next day, 12/5. Al once again said he would call me back, and emphatically promised that he would do so before noon. I told him that I could not continue waiting (10 days now) and that I would have to go somewhere else if I did not hear from him this time. Noon comes and goes, still no call.

Finally, two hours later, he does call. At this point, I am literally in the car on the way to Home Depot. Al offers no apology. No recognition that I have been trying for almost two weeks to fix a critical appliance in my kitchen. No indication that he even realizes or cares that he has broken his word to me for a third time, or why I should trust anything he says now.

I live in New Haven and try to support family-owned businesses, which this store claims to be. But I do not recommend this store to anyone who cares about attention to detail, communication, or timeliness. Again, this was a truly bizarre experience for me -- I'm trying to pay them $1,000+ for a big appliance, and I've never seen a store so indifferent about following up with a customer to lock in their business.

Fortunately, at Home Depot I was assisted by a very friendly and helpful associate. I purchased the same oven for the same price, and they even quoted me a cheaper installation fee!

I recently met sales rep Irving there, he wasn't even assigned to my area but was very knowledgeable, kind & patient in helping me choose the appropriate brand & size of my new refrigerator, even after I got home to double check the measurements & found the original choice was a little too tall, went back a few hours later for an exchange, everything was smooth & seamless, I would definitely seek him out for any further assistance I may need with major appliances!

We had a very difficult experience here buying a fridge. The first 4 fridges came with serious damage to the point that the truck drivers recommended not accepting them. We went into the store to speak with a manager, Rich, after the second bad delivery and he did give us a discount which we appreciated. I can understand that they only have so much control over the damage in transit. HOWEVER, Rich personally promised me that the 4th fridge would be tested and brought back the next morning to be delivered if it was working correctly. I even followed up on a delivery time and was told he was taking care of it. The next morning the fridge did not arrive, when we called Rich he had to go hunt down the fridge and find out it was in New York and because it was Saturday the soonest we could get a fridge was Tuesday. (In my experience a manger should have followed up with that on his own before getting a call) He refused to give us any more off the price but did offer a $200 gift card (which we have still not received 2 months later). We finally got a fridge the next week that thankfully worked. It was a very disappointing experience and we will not use this store in the future which is a bummer as we had positive experiences with them in the past.

TLDR: We had a very disappointing experience with manger Rich and never received the gift card we were promised.
