I thought the Dunkin’ Donuts down by Big Y was pretty bad but wow this one takes first prize. I literally ordered a medium and large iced macchiato with light ice. The employees literally filled it with ice and could not comprehend the basic concept of light ice. Then they hassled me and made like literally a medium half full and the large with less than the half. I said do you see you made the large less than the medium? After a bunch of exhaustive back and forth with the staff who really seem completely ignorant I finally just got the refund. Like really how hard is it to put in light ice ? I am positive when they make their drinks they make it the way they want! But do not expect to be a normal person just ordering a coffee with LITERALLY an EASY REQUEST of light ice to get it they will just give you a bunch of bull crap and smart talk for even daring to pull up and order something that simple. I said I want to talk to the manager she said “thats fine she ain’t here I she won’t care I will talk to her myself”. They need to teach the employees how to do their job even the basics like light ice and certainly not to harass the customer for making coffee decisions it is so ridiculous. I can’t make this up so here is a picture of the medium they gave me (unfortunately I did not take one of the large but it was literally less then the medium) pretty sure they made it this way just to be rude. My son was in the car with me and he was like wow what is wrong with these people how do they not understand that why are they even working…so yeah not kid friendly place either when they are being so obnoxious right in front of your child…This occurred at drive through at about 2:20pm ish on Friday December 13, 2024.
The upside is if you are a person who like being treated like garbage then hey this place will be a perfect place for you to go to and you can get a crappy coffee so for those who enjoy being treated like crap this is a sure ticket to that!

I travel a lot for work, and this is the worst Dunkin location I’ve ever been to in the whole entire state of Connecticut. I come to this location the most most frequent because I’m a resident in North haven. To sum up my experience here:
•The staff is the most unfriendly and unhelpful staff I’ve ever encountered.
They avoid eye contact at all cost and they never even smile to customers.
•God forbid you’re left there standing waiting for something from a mobile order,
they do everything to avoid you.
•If you do put a mobile order in, I promise
you, your items will never be on the to go racks where they should be. They are 100% always on the counter behind the racks or in the drive though area - which defeats the purpose of putting in an order ahead of time to grab.
•Other times I’ve just had incorrect orders- I’ve had wake up wraps with cold and. unmelted cheese AND wraps where I’m missing the egg all together. I’ve had cold coffee (when it’s supposed to be hot) and sour milk in my latte. I’ve also had missing items all together with of course zero customer service to fix it.
I could keep going on, but I’ve already wasted enough time on this review; especially because I know it won’t fix any of the fundamental problems at this location.

Asked for a medium iced tea with light cream in it, they hand me one that looked like it was 100% cream. The next one they hand me after I brought it to their attention has pretty much the same amount of cream. They told me “This is the darkest we can make it.” Me being in a huge rush for work, I grabbed it. Total waste of time and money.

This is place to cool off in Summer via frozen and cold drinks and warm up in Winter via hot tea and coffee especially if you've been working for exercising all day like me even though I've been fired from Walmart since 2021

INCREDIBLY RUDE AND UNKNOWLEDGEABLE OF THE MENU. After waiting ~10 min in the drive-thru then another 5 min at the actual drive-thru order point before anyone took my order, I asked for a blueberry cake donut. The girl rudely responded that they do not have a blueberry cake donut. She later said they do have a blueberry glazed donut, but it's NOT a cake donut (this is false, the blueberry glazed donut is a cake donut). She was adamant and aggressive that these were NOT the same and acted like I was crazy for asking for a cake donut. I ended up driving away because I was not comfortable with food prepared by this rude and aggressive person.

Never a good experience here. I waited at the drive through window for 5 minutes only to be told they didn't know I was there already. How could they not know I was there when I literally just talked to them 5 seconds earlier on the intercom. Then I was given the wrong drink and when I asked about it she refused to remake it and said that it was the only way she knew how to make it. In general the food is never good and the coffee always seems to be made wrong somehow.

They will probably jip you on your drink and leave a gap at the top. They will also ignore when you ask for less ice. Oh and there is a strong possibility a lady will just open the window and stare at you like your crazy for a minute before clarifying your total or asking if your a mobile pick up. Go to a different one if possible.

Final straw with this location. Absolutely rude for no reason. I was polite, as I always am.
I did a mobile order for a coffee and 2 coffee rolls. I get to the window, give my name, and the worker tells me "we don't have any coffee rolls." So I say, "ok, do you have any glazed donuts?" and she gets snarky and says "we DON'T HAVE any donuts", so I'm like "ok, how about apple fritters?" and she very rudely says "we DON'T HAVE ANY DONUTS!!"...so I am like you don't have anything at all? I'm just trying to figure out what I can get since I paid ahead "... And she responds" you'll have to get a refund "... Finally I told her I didn't appreciate her attitude and I was going to drive away because I didn't want her making my drink either. To which she responded" okaaaay"... As if she should be surprised I don't trust someone that rude dealing with my beverage.
Now I am inconvenienced waiting for corporate to refund my order.

I've been going there for 10 years every night. The girl who does the drive through window tells me yesterday the computers are down. Should I go across the street McDonald's and get a coffee for work? Today I go in there and she tells me there's only decaf left no regular coffee, I said. OK give me a decap with 2 shots of express flow cream and sugar extra large.
I get to work.
And there's no cream or sugar in my coffee. Every day this week, there's been a problem. I'm paying $5 for a cup of coffee. Which is outrageous to begin with. Thanks a lot, somebody needs to retrain this girl.

Staff was rude, I waited for over 20 minutes after ordering for a donut and coffee. Additionally, this is the 4th time in the last 30 days that I've bought chocolate milk for my son that has been EXPIRED. They do not check dates as the entire fridge of chocolate milks were expired.

you need to fix those MASSIVE potholes that you can't avoid your drive thru. Brand new rims and tires on my car and now 1 wheel is curb and 1 tire has a gash in it. Fix the issue. Never understood why a business of this magnitude can't fill it.

Never come here, they sound like they hate there job. When they mess up your order they get mad at you. My mom is a diabetic ordered no sugar gave her coffee as if was light and sweet. When I went back to have them fix it first they ignored me. The lady gave me a whole attitude and the guy slammed the coffee on the counter. This is not the first time this has happened. Absolutely horrible. Went through the drive thru at 6am and waited for about 15m to order, when I got to order, the menu and visual boards were down. I waited a few seconds and figured everything was down and people were placing order at window, (thus the slower speed). When I got to the window, they said I never ordered and would need to re-do the drive thru line! I told them I never heard them and they told me that's my fault, the audio was working. They refused to take my order at the window. The people in there are absolutely miserable, will never go back to any DDs that this owner has.

On 1-13-23 At 10:20pm Friday night, The girl with blonde and black braid in extensions said she wouldn't take anymore customers for the night because she was counting the registers and i asked her if it would be like 10- 15 mins or something and she said "for tonight"and wouldn't answer after that.
I would have patiently waited extra time because I had already driven 10 mins specifically to this location because it was 24hrs, and there was another woman their with black hair so I'm confused as to how they're closed indefinitely for one register count.

This isn't the first time I went to this Dunkin. The beacon was cold and when I ask can they warm it up the gentlemen at the drive threw window was rude. They need to do better all the way around. The coffee taste old.

The location, in general, has a less than stellar drive thru (its a really tight area), but they make the most of it. The holiday menu includes a Cookie Butter coffee which was actually one of their best annual offers.

Not even 1 star for this such a place. I spent more than 20 minutes at the drive-thru, so I call inside to find out what was wrong but they never answer the call. Then I decided to go inside DD where I receive an Inaceptable and bad attitude from the staff. The whole bunch of young ladies didn't deserve to be working with customers. Just back from this Dunkin’ Donuts. When we ordered the girl was exasperated - seemed to get upset at us for being slow. Our order was all botched up. Cold egg and cheese on bagel, almond milk in matcha and coffee - coffee wrong size - Splenda not sugar. Tuesday November 1st. 3:00 pm. Was this on purpose? Or was this just incompetence? Needs better training.

So I work nearby this dunkin and get out of work at 5am I stop by this dunkin all 4 days of the week that I work when I get out at 5am. I don't understand why 1) it takes so long to get to the order board (especially if there is only one person in front of me) and 2) why half the time I'm told they are not serving food only drinks and other half they are, almost everytime with an attitude. All of this coming from someone who has both worked in fast food and at many dunkins in the past. Whoever is working Mon-Thu mornings around 5am needs to be retrained or fired. I honestly dread going to this dunkin because of this but after 10 hours of working im starving in the morning and don't have the energy cook. At least I can count on the inconsistencies.

It is extremely confusing going through the drive thru due to there being 2 entrances. One is for the drive thru the other is for walking in. There is always a huge line but I wouldn't mind but the staff are so nasty. I understand they are busy but if you didn't have customers you wouldn't have a job. I ordered 2 coffees and they were not made properly but I wasn't going back. When I pulled up I saw at least 5 people working there. Every time I go there I get an attitude when I'm not rude at all. I will only go here if it is my last option...there is also a Starbucks right down the street.

This Dunkin’ is by far the worst at night. Especially on the Washington Ave strip. Similar to other reviews, there is one individual in particular who treats customers like the garbage she takes out. Absolutely rude. This Dunkin does not have any ice at night, hot beverages, and ANY food. I worked at Dunkin before and we had to serve guests from open to close, no matter the case. Honestly individuals and this one worker in particular needs to learn some manners.

I have been going to this Dunkin for a while now. I have noticed at night it is usually the same lady with dark hair. She is rude and not nice to customers. The other night I came here she was talking about me to another co worker. About how I was “staring” at her even tho I was on the phone. She doesn’t like to do her job and for a store that is suppose to be open 24 hrs she never likes to make food. The ovens are always down or food is being made. Hot beverages can not be made and also conviently the donuts always happen to be just thrown away when I’m there LOL. If you don’t like your job she should find a new one. Had to hit one star cause there wasn’t a 0 option. I’m very unhappy and would like to speak with the manger and or owners. Very unhappy about this constant issue with the same lady……

Megan is an amazing employee! I was crying on the toilet without any toilet paper for an hour. She heard my sorrow in the stall as she was cleaning the bathroom. She continued to give me a life supply of toilet paper. I will never have to experience that trauma again. Thank you Megan, you deserve a raise.

I’ve been going to this Dunkin’ Donuts for over 20 years and never had a bad experience. Unfortunately the store is under new management and it’s a nightmare. Very unorganized and unfriendly. It’s sad. Today I received a freezing cold “hot” latte and was given a eye roll and attitude when making the new manager aware. I understand things happen and machines don’t work all the time. But, just be nice!! I’m hoping things get better and the store gets back to normal.

Most of the time a sales associate specially in food area needs to know about company products and and make sure know how to make. If not then they should get training or they should move in different sections.
Because they don’t realize, someone order something and when he go home or on the way and take bite his food or sip in the coffee, it just ruining his day simply because that food wasn’t made correctly.
We all make mistakes, but we must take lessons from previous mistakes.
All this can be avoided simply if he or she just respects the job.

Waited 35 minutes in the drive-through 10 minutes for someone to take my order had to say hello to the machine and the girl said what do you want. Not the first time this is happened. Coffee was perfect... coming home from. Work at 5am I would have loved a warm sandwich but instead I got cold egg. Gross. If the young girls focused more instead of playing on their phones at 5am it would have been done right.

Have been going to DD for as long as I can remember. Service there has been getting worse and very rude people working there

If I could rating this is be a negative one, there is a manager there by the name of Alesha and she is very rude and unprofessional she treats her employees like dirt and the customer service sucks every time I go there employees are always goofing around in the back of the store not tending to the front I’ve seen employees being to friendly with other employees if you know what I’m saying I will never go here again after waiting in line for so long and on top of that my food was burnt and dry!

Love Dunkin, don't really know where the worker was. Very interesting, there were patrons inside and we waited about 15 minutes, which is fine if it's busy or they are short staffed, but it was one worker, no other customers at almost 10 pm in that rural area.
If it were not for his very poor customer service and poor attitude I wouldn't have written this. No apology for making us wait as long as we did. That would of carried volumes but the kid was a jerk.

All 6 dounts were old and dry🙄🙄! Ordered two Boston cream dounts and found out one was a chocolate covered lemon dount with no filling at all! Only reason I know it was lemon is by one drop at end of donut😲. Won't go there again for donuts or anything at all.

This Dunkin was good years and years ago. The people here now are incredibly rude and I have never ever gotten a correct order. I have been jipped out of several items each time, losing out on money.

930 pm Saturday night, slow slow slow..
Was in drive thru 20+ minutes, two other vehicles drove off. Two employees visible one female at window other a male on his phone leaning on counter.

I’m not all that impressed with any DD’s service, However this DD is the pits!
( and it does have plenty of people working) First you wait in line for god knows how long to place your order, then you have to repeat your order at least 3 or 4 times before they get it right, then you wait another 20 min to get to the window to pay and your order is not right, then the person at the window is rude and argues that that’s not what you said, when in fact it was repeated several times! Then they are rude, they get angry they have to fix the order and literally throw your order at you and don’t even say thank you! Today it happened again all the while I’m being nice saying please and thank you. The pkid at the window handed me my coffee it was wrong , he did it again almost dropped it handing it to me , forgot my food which was sitting right in front of him, says what ? When I sat waiting for it, says oh ya here and threw the bag at me! No apology, no thank you, no have a nice day, just turned his back and started talking to his coworker! I was 20 minutes late for work! This sort of thing happens every time I go there! Do yourself a favor go somewhere else!!!! This DD is by far the worst I’ve ever gone to!

avoid going here if you could, the staff don't want to be there so they let you sit in the drive through and don't come on the intercom until you speak and and say hello. they've got friends pulled up to the back of the building with the door open, NOT WORKING. so if you wonder why you're waiting so long it's because they're just fooling around. i drink dunkin everyday and this is definitely a bad look for them!!

I usually like to order from DD, this time was an awful experience
First of all we payed for a large latte and they gave us a medium! They put a new sticker with my order on it over a previous sticker with medium order info!!!! I didn’t notice at first and was 15 min away toward NJ
Then, we ordered water and asked for empty cup! The worker was rude telling us they aren’t allowed to give away empty cups!! She could have been nicer and we would have definitely understood!

Parking lot and drive thru line are set up very awkwardly. Ordered a bagel with cream cheese and there was a very small smear of cream cheese on 1/4 of the bagel. Staff was friendly though.

Another slow dunkin donuts, I ordered a med coolatta a large coolatta and 2 donuts and had to wait like 10 mins at the window after I paid. An the coolatta still weren't made correctly.

They usually make my order right which is good, but there's no reason why it should take 20 minutes to go through the drive through with literally 3 cars ahead of me. For being the only 24 hour dunkin in town you think they'd have their sh*t together by now.

It was very busy at the drive through but the line moved very quickly and the employees kept a good positive attitude and followed the covid rules.

Usually don't have an issue here. Today line was a little long which I get. Got to the window and stated I had a mobile order like I always do and was told to come up. One girl handed my drink and told me next time be patient and slammed the window closed and ran to the back. I was not rude I always just state mobile and Im told to come on up. Not sure what was this person's problem.

The line wasn’t exceptional when we pulled up, but it took an exceptional amount of time to move. Once our order was finally taken, we waited about another ten minutes with two cars in front of us. Most of that wait time was spent with the employees just chatting/catching up with the car in front of us. Moving the line and serving every customer doesn’t seem to be a priority here. We finally gave up and left. We are currently at the Dunkin down the road as I write this, and they are much more professional and efficient.

4 minutes waiting on drive tru, my order wasn't taken, I move to the window, I ask them if there's any problem with the drive tru and they told me I have to go around again because they can't add any order at the window. Next time just say "one moment please" so costumers can know that is busy

Good visit. There was a long line for the drive through, which took longer than expected. Some people even drove away early since it took so long. Ordering was very rushed as well, but the drinks came out great, so if you have the time the quality is worth it.

They gave every single person in the gingerbread flavoring. We all ordered we red a different coffee some with no flavors at all and two of us with different flavors that were NOT gingerbread haha. I'm not sure what was going on but normally they're not that bad. Though they do get stuff wrong more often than any other Dunkin I regularly go to.

Honestly just avoid it and go down the street. I hate doing this but I have almost never received a correct order from this dunkin, and the service is slow so I don't really understand. I know things are difficult right now with the pandemic but even before that its been awful.
