I went this afternoon and ordered a drink that I usually order at least 3 times a week with no issues. Today, Christian was at the drive through window and informed me I couldn’t have both vanilla sweet cold foam and whip cream in the same drink. I simply showed him receipts of my previous orders and how I’ve been able to order both and just have been upcharged in the past. He gave me a ton of attitude and said “OK JUST LETTING YOU KNOW Starbucks doesn’t guarantee the quality of this drink”. He then turned to the rest of the staff and said “Don’t worry I am going to make this one”. He left his post at the drive through and proceeded to make my drink and maliciously filled the venti frap cup up half way with sweet vanilla cold foam and still no whip. It was very mean spirited and felt malicious. I’ve never had such poor experience. I don’t mind paying extra for what I order so that was never an issue. It’s sad that everyone else at this location has made the drink several times and never complained. Christian should not be servicing customers with this disgusting attitude. Pictured is proof of previous purchase and what I was given today! I truly love Starbucks but this has left a terrible taste in my mouth… literally!

Ordered 2 flat whites with extra shots. One was fine and the other had NO shots of espresso.
$6+ dollar coffee and they can't put coffee in the cup. Not sure sure how it's even possible.

Always order mobile, always have a great experience here. People in these reviews don’t seem to understand that this is usually a very busy location, give them a break! Order ahead with extra time!

I come every weekend for the drive thru to this Starbucks. I work from home Saturday and Sunday and am up early needing a special kick start. Service is always helpful since I’m newer to Starbucks and not always sure if they offer something. My orders are always correct. Everyone is friendly and prompt. I like this Starbucks.

After waiting nearly 20 minutes for a cheese danish that I didn’t even want warmed up, I asked how much longer it was going to be. The barista, Crystal, snapped at me, first correcting me that I hadn’t been waiting 20 minutes, I’d been waiting 18. And then went on a tirade that it wasn’t about the “18 minutes” I was waiting, it was about the people that ordered in front of me. I understand that I have to wait, but seriously 20 minutes for a cold cheese danish?! Common sense people. Perhaps I would’ve been more understanding if the barista wasn’t so nasty and condescending.

Always a 50/50 shot my beverages are made correctly, for the price I expect to get what I order! You either get really good baristas or totally bad ones. If you can’t make them right you shouldn’t be making them! Everyone is nice here but the beverages are why we come!

I went to this starbuck many time for mobile order. I ordered my drink with salted caramel cream cold foam which is $1.25 extra but all the time they will just put whipped cream. People please watch out for your drink they will scam you.

We went around 1030am and the place was busy. At the same time, I noticed they have a very tentative staff working very hard to fulfill the online orders, the in store orders, as well as the drive through. If you go at certain times, the coffee orders generally come with a hand drawn sticker with a kind, motivational message to get you through the day. They have a very friendly staff!

Casey and the manager on duty this morning are absolutely magnificent. Today is Red Cup day and with the Hamden location closed, they were getting absolutely bombarded with orders. Casey was still making sure everyone was getting their orders and was happy while there while his manager was making sure everyone was getting their orders in a reasonable time frame. This was a very stressful situation that was handled extraordinarily well.

What is with the staff at this place? The shift manager at night is beyond rude. I understand working with the public is not easy and everyone has a bad day, but I have never seen her on a good day. I ordered food with my last order, the tiny bags were burning hot, I asked for a bag which they didn't have, so I had to carry drinks and flaming bags out. The bags were so hot they fell on the floor. I asked for a replacement and they said they were too busy to help me. They said I could email Starbucks for a refund. That got me nowhere.

I come into this store every Sunday night and always see the same three girls working every time. The employees are nice, attentive, and quick, but they always seem to be very understaffed, and it affects the speed of service and their mental well-being. Management is completely incompetent only having 3 employees when it has to be clear they need more people. I worked food service for years and I know that's not nearly enough staff for how busy they are. I can't believe they would treat their employees and customers like those. Do better starbucks

Mask friendly & non mask friendly so thats a plus ! It is a tiny place so if youre not comftorable due to covid reasons there is curbside pickup literally right outside the front door! Everything was smooth & quick & there more than enough employees working at a time to get things moving not like other places where theres like 2 employees trying to do 50 plus coffees. Theres enough tables for any work to be done on your laptops and also booths but the booths are towards where the pick up is so from my stand of view point you might feel claustrophobic. My coffee was done right ! I got a hot white chocolate mocha with 4 pumps of caramel an extra espresso shot & extra caramel drizzle!

I go to Paul Mitchell and come to Starbucks often. I’m completely over their horrible customer service. EVERYTIME I GO, there is always an issue w/ my order & they NEVER take accountability! I don’t know if workers are just lazy or don’t care. The past 3 times (and only times) I ordered curbside pickup I’ve had to go inside after waiting 10+ minutes. And every time my order is just sitting there. It’s not even like it’s because they don’t have enough staff or were busy. The last time I walked in there was not one customer in line and there were approximately 5 staff just standing there, and there was my drink just sitting there. Management needs to get this Starbucks in check it’s one of the worst in CT

Horrible experience at this Starbucks, particularly with the barista Claire. She was so mean to me I actually cried in my car, after leaving WITHOUT ordering because I felt so uncomfortable. How someone can be that rude to a (pregnant) stranger, while at work, is beyond me. I really hope to hear back from the manager regarding my experience because I am traumatized and probably never going back.

I try to avoid this Starbucks at all costs, but sadly it’s the closest to my job and when I’m desperate I’ll go to it. But I don’t think I can muster to visit this location again. They are slow...PAINFULLY slow. And highly unorganized. My most recent visit I did curbside pick up. I checked in right at the pickup time. After waiting about 20 min I finally head inside. Sure enough there’s my drink sitting on the counter. And because of COVID restrictions pickup is behind the counter so you have to ask someone to get it for you. Good luck trying to get a baristas attention. They look like they want to punch you in the face if you disturb them. Every time I go in there the customers look tired and annoyed. Can’t blame them when it takes 30 minutes to get a drink

Starbucks is very good. Following all guidelines and then some. It appears as if they had a very nice menu. Haven't been there in a while but I got to say the prices were reasonable more than I really thought they were. They also added bagels to the menu which which I didn't know she missed how I have not been there for a while. Don't like the fact that you have to butter yourself but it is a time of covert so maybe that's the reason highly recommend it

Staff is extremely friendly and always looking to help a customer. I’ve seen people complain about mobile ordering but I’ve only mobile ordered at this location and I’ve never had a problem. I’ve had to wait maybe 5 minutes at most for my mobile order but you can see all the other mobile orders and walk in orders piling up. They work fast with the high volume of orders they’re receiving. Best Starbucks I’ve been to!

I went in today to grab a quick snack and use the bathroom while running errands, and the store was super busy, but Maria at the front register was so nice even though I’m sure she was super exhausted because of the rush. If I could give 0 stars I would. This Starbucks is ran so poorly - slow and rude. I’ve given this location multiple tries with a mobile order and they always seem to be backed up with their staff running around like chickens with their heads cut off. After complaining I was waiting for over 30 min for a mobile order the barista didn’t even bother to offer making the drink right then and there but just gave me my money back on the app. Never going back.
