This store is great and the staff are exceptionally helpful. My problem is every time I visit this location the in store radio plays the 2012 song Cheerleader by Omi 3-4 times over a 20 minute visit. I didn’t have a problem with the song until I had to hear it so often, I can’t imagine what it’s like to work here if this is the atmosphere every hour of every day.

The amount of times I’ve heard “Cheerleader” by OMI in this store is actually astonishing. The song has been playing every single time I’ve visited for at least the last six months, sometimes every two or three songs but sometimes literally on repeat! This feels like some sort of human rights violation against your employees. It certainly adds to the bleak, surreal atmosphere of this store. Please stop playing “Cheerleader” by OMI not only for the comfort of guests but the sanity of your staff.

I gave 3 stars because it is a very good business with very nice and friendly employees. The one thing I don't like is the variety of model cars and paints is awful they had only one car and that same car has been there for the last 3 months so seems they haven't received any shipment for new models. Also, their model car paint selection is awful as well. They have a small variety but multiples of the same colors that make it look like they have a large variety. Other than the lack of model kits and paints, the store is a very good craft store.

Staff here is amazing. Truly. Helpful, obviously hard working and trying to get everything done in a timely fashion. Always happy to answer questions or try and help you find an item. Company in general is frankly, kind of garbage IMO. Their newest attempt at penny pinching is self checkout machines, so that they can pay less employees to man registers and have the store on a skeleton crew. Since Michaels bought out and closed A.C. Moores, their coupons stink, they don't accept competitors coupons, and the prices have gone up to account for the few coupons they offer. (Yes, Michael's Corporate. Crafters *notice* when you increase the price of something by 20% and only offer 20% off coupons anymore! ) I now only shop here when I need something quick, otherwise I tend to shop at Joanns (also great customer service/employees!) or Amazon and save $.

This location tends to be one of the smaller locations and does not have as big of a selection as most other locations. The staff may be friendly but they really don't know the store or the product as well as they should like they do in other locations.

Every time I’ve been to this store in the past year they play that “I think I’ve found myself a cheerleader” song. Today they played it five (5) times in 35 minutes. I don’t understand.

Prices not bad could be better, honestly why vinyl cost so much ? I bought some on sale by the register, went home made some stuff and the “cheap” vinyl ruined my project big time. I can’t even use the rest of it had to throw it out Kmt.

Nice store, except at checkout I tried just to pay cash and get out of there. After a rigamaroll at check out, the clerk put my stuff in a bag and no where in there was one item and my receipt. They were in total denial they had made any mistake. Still don’t have my swatch of material I paid for. Total rude and useless customer support.

Not only did I find what I was looking for, and more, the staff was great. One helped me find a few things and assisted me in picking the best option of the variety available and the cashier helped me with the app and coupons at checkout. More than satisfied with the entire adventure I had here and I will definitely be returning to this location in the future

I recently had an encounter with the manager whose name I saw was Melissa. I had a missing piece to my purchase and a kind employee suggested a solution to my issue and when she had her manager come to back her up, she was not only rude to me, but rude to them as well. Very distasteful. Having a manager represent your store in this manner is disgusting, especially DURING THE HOLIDAY SEASON.

Thank you for locking up the POSCA markers! I hate asking associates to unlock products. I googled and found them for almost half the price at another store and they are not locked up! Nothing feels more uncomfortable than having to do a massive restock of something and having to have an associate pull Every Single Item. It would have taken forever and I would have felt so embarrassed for having to eat up so much of someone’s time to pass me single markers! UHG!

We were struggling to find the right size frame. An employee came right over with a tape measure and actually helped pick out the best color frame. She also reminded us to use the 30% coupon. Just when you give up on customer service, you get a pleasant and informative customer service experience.

Some great clearance section finds but most items are marked up relative to other online vendors. A great spot to visit when you need eyes on the item or can’t wait for shipping.

Usual store these days, nothing organized and isle are a fire hazard. Employees are always friendly, which is nice. You fully understand their company game of 50% and coupons when the quality of the items are subpar at least for decorations

So many Christmas items in-store. I stopped in to pick up an order for a set of craft scissors. The set of 12 was on sale for $14 and they cut all different designs. Great deal with my $5 reward coupon!

Good selection, especially of beads and jewelry findings. The store seems organized and I didn't need to spend any time waiting in line. My only complaint is that they don't have the "ultra smooth" canvas I've seen at other Michaels locations. (They have tons of other canvases though.)

In the past I would frequent Michael's and AC Moore's. They were both good, but AC Moore seemed to have more categories of products, and more products within each category. Michael's swallowed up AC Moore, yet they did not expand their offerings to be inclusive of those extra choices.

The new layout makes it a wee bit confusing to find items that aren't under the big banner categories, but under those categories things are very well laid out and seem to be organized on a regular basis.

Michael's is always the place to go for all my art supplies. The only reason I give this location a 3 star review is because every time I stop by they never have some of the supplies I need. When other surroundings area Michael's have them.

Excellent place to get arts and crafts! Recently here, as everywhere, shelves are lightly stocked, lines are long. North Haven store is cluttered, shelves messy, floors dirty.

I can't get enough of this store. They have a great sale on glass beads and I have racked up!!! The prices can't be beat!
I was shocked and disappointed when I went to Jo-Ann fabrics and could have been ripped off if I didn't comparison shop. Michael's prices are very reasonable. The quality of the beads are great. They have a very good selection of beads. Good customer service in the store is always intact.

Ever since I started visiting Michaels, I can’t stop going there especially when I’m near its neighboring stores… the store is always cluttered free, well stocked, looks neat and clean, and most importantly the seasonal aisles always stocked with something new. The associates are very nice and friendly, and always busy on the floor and at the checkout counters…
