Not sure what my favorite part of this place is because there’s so much to choose from!
They have an amazing selection of eco-friendly, sustainable, and local products throughout the store. They have everything from soap refills to vintage clothing, from coffee beans to handmade jewelry. The staff is always super friendly and helpful, and the store is cozy and inviting. I love that they support local artists and artisans, and that they promote a low-waste lifestyle. I highly recommend Eco Evolution to anyone who cares about the environment and wants to shop ethically… or just anyone looking for a cool place to work remotely with some great coffee. It’s a gem in the heart of South Norwalk!

Brad and the team at Eco are the best! I’ve been stopping by since long before they even had the coffee shop portion of their business. It’s always a treasure trove of sustainable, handmade crafts and goods. If you love local candles, soaps, art, and vintage items then definitely check this place out. Oh, and did I mention how good the lattes are? I’ve always loved the coffee and the folks who work behind the counter are genuinely happy to be there and love getting to know the customers. If you like to walk your pups downtown, Eco is a dog-friendly shop and they usually have biscuits on hand for furry visitors!

A fun and funky place to get reusable and recycled gifts and homegoods. I love having a place to get an earth-friendly gift. I love the VHS wall and the card selection and the random vintage finds. I haven't tried the coffee, but it's cool there's a coffee shop inside.

I stopped by on a whim today and my expectations were exceeded. Chris was personable, kind, and helpful. I enjoyed the cheddar scone paired with an iced chai (both recommended by Chris). I love the relaxed, inclusive eclectic vibe in the midst of the busyness of SoNo. I will absolutely visit more regularly!

This place is devoted to sustainability. All the disposable dishes and utensils are compostable and they have tons of eco-friendly products as well as a large section of used knickknacks. Finally, you can refill soaps, shampoos, hand soap etc for 43 cents an ounce. Awesome!

The nicest people work here! I came in needing iced coffee and a break from a bridal shower in the august heat, and they let me sit and stay a while with my grandma and play scrabble in the ac. The coffee was delicious and whoever was on aux was killing it. Will be back!

The funkiest and friendliest spot in Sono! Excellent coffee, the loveliest staff, and a thoughtfully curated collection of local, eco-friendly and vintage wares. I love to pop in for an iced latte, chat with my favorite baristas (Chris, Darby, Rosie, Ryan, Sacha 💚), and see if I might stumble upon a piece of vintage Pyrex to add to my collection.

The owner, Brad, has also been an incredible community builder. He is always finding new and unique ways to bring people and other small businesses together. Whether it’s an open mic, omakase, sound baths, sewing classes- this place has everything!

Eco is such a special place. We are so lucky and proud to have them in the neighborhood!

I’ve seen Eco Evolution literally evolve from the start. This is such a HUGE community asset and focal point of downtown SONO. Norwalk didn’t know what it was missing before the Eco dude came to town.
Their coffee is fantastic, ice cream and treats are delicious and atmosphere is unbeatable. I have found so many unique gifts and pieces of art/decor. I try to stop in anytime I am in the area

Eco Evolution is a glorious anomaly, a seemingly idealistic fantasy that somehow works flawlessly. Standing apart from the world of franchise cafes, it’s a beautiful space (!) in a premium, historic location (!!) staffed by friendly, engaged, interesting folks (!!!) who serve genuinely wonderful coffee and more (!!!!) well beyond the standard 9-5 hours of most non-city, non-college town cafes (!!!!!). I can’t express enough how grateful I am this place exists.

WOW!!! I’m not from Norwalk but I love coffee and cafe hopping, so when I came to visit Eco was a top rec and it did not disappoint! The staff is INCREDIBLY friendly and kind- the barista working was so very patient in assisting me when indecisiveness struck and I couldn’t decide on a drink, and it was one of the best coffees I’ve had in a while! I even wound up getting a pair of cute earrings while perusing their vast collection of merchandise. It’s only been a few days but I get complements every time I wear them!
I could not have asked for a better experience, it’s top of the list for places to hit on my next visit :)

I have never been to Eco Evolution ( I live in Upstate NY), but I stumbled across their online store one day by accident, and so glad I did! What a unique blend of original art and vintage pieces. Brad helped me with additional questions and pictures of the piece that I was interested in. Shipping was extremely quick and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the paperweight I purchased!! Thank you Gems by Gia! I can't say enough good things about this shop and my lovely experience. I hope to someday visit in person, but until then I'll keep an eye out online for more unique buys.

I had a lovely first experience at Eco Evolution this year, the staff was so welcoming and friendly and the treats were great. I felt comfortable dining in and not rushed to leave (as so many coffee shops treat their customers nowaways) but rather encouraged to enjoy my time there. Eco Evolution is the perfect community spot. I love grabbing a coffee, cookie, and some wifi after yoga or PT, or hanging out for a couple hours to make the work tasks I hate a little less horrible. Chris and Brad make everyone feel welcomed and seen by doing those small things like asking your name. My daughter's a fan of the ice cream and I love that I can opt for a coffee and feel less tempted by the ice cream. I found some lovely wine glasses that came in a too-large set and Brad happily broke it down to 4. I love the idea of reusing stuff like this versus buying new.

Stumbled upon this place while wandering around Sono. The vibe, the people, the merchandise - so chill and so warm. The owner welcomes you in like it's his home as he serves up your matcha. We happened to be there for a "presentation" in the tiny, intimate performance space in the back. Left with a very cool shirt from the 70s. Love this place - a unique pleasure.

Tons of fun events are hosted here: open mic nights, book clubs, coworking events, sushi tastings, dumpling making, meetings for people newly arrived to Norwalk.
I highly recommend attending the open mic nights; good comedy and good music.
Very good atmosphere: calm colors all around, good artwork, nice snacks, good artsy products, good hot chocolate served at just the right temperature so you can drink it right away instead of searing hot like other places.
All in all a great place to hang out.

I absolutely LOVE this place. I spent every single day here when I lived in Norwalk for a month. It was honestly my favourite part about living there! I love the people and the vibes. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming! You have to try the mocca, it is one of theee best drinks I have ever had in my life (ordered like two a day). The Open Mic Nights are INSANE too! Such a chill spot for the artsy, spunky and the latter. The vibe immediately upon entry is welcoming. The owner is definitely a character! Loved chatting with him and he even sat with my friend and I to discuss his life and how he manifested his idea for the shop.

i visited eco evolution for the first time today. i love the little store part (hard to not spend all your money) and the cafe hangout. i'm super jazzed that one of the only queer owned businesses in the area not only is a cafe but such a vibrant business. it makes me even prouder 🏳️‍🌈

Great selection of eco-conscious goods, cool vintage glassware, and they have delicious locally made vegan ice cream too! Very comfy seating area in the back to hang out and enjoy said vegan ice cream :)

Eco Evolution is the best! I've been a customer of the store since it first opened and it is always fun to stop in and see what new items Brad has in the store. There is a great mix of gifts, jewelry, art and decor that are eco-friendly, locally made or vintage. I love that now I can get coffee and vegan ice cream there too! The staff is always super nice and the overall environment is very welcoming.

A fun and funky place to get reusable and recycled gifts and homegoods. I love having a place to get an earth-friendly gift. I love the VHS wall and the card selection and the random vintage finds. I haven't tried the coffee, but it's cool there's a coffee shop inside.

Affogato was so taste and beyond my expectation. Coffee is so deep and nice. Atmosphere here is so fun with lots of vintage items. Staff are AWESOME. This is probably the only cafe on this street and they are so precious.

Absolutely love the vibe almost as much as I love the coffee at this place! Such a wonderful addition to the community, and if I’m going to have coffee out at least I know that Eco Evolution is a better choice for the environment.

I had a wonderful experience at Eco Evolution. The owner Brad was very kind and helpful. The store smells amazing and has a great selection of products for sale. The coffee and sweets are wonderful.
I will be here everyday for coffee!

The best thing to happen to Norwalk! A sustainable driven store. You can restock on soaps for your house, or enjoy a treat your self moment. Let’s not forget the Vegan ice cream and drinks. The owner also organizes pop up events that are centered around building connections.

Great healthy for the earth products! I love the home cleaning products most, dryer balls, bamboo sink tools, washing machine soap sheets and so much more! Great, friendly staff too!

The coolest place on the planet?--maybe, but at least the coolest in the state of CT. Tons of eco-friendly products, including clothes, cleaning items, artwork, & peanut butter treats that my dog adores. Plus groovy events like open mic nights & readings. Support this store . . . and the planet!!!

I love everything about this store, including the devoted owner! The merchandise and packaging are environmentally sensitive, he supports so many local businesses and non-profits, and the store carries a great stock of unique gift options. I personally love getting the plastic-package-free laundry detergents and boosters at Eco Evolution, but the skincare, jewelry, housewares, gifts, personal care items, and clothing are all fantastic. Items I've seen on the shelves are also free from the chemical toxins typically found in commercial products. I'm looking forward to my next visit!

Love this place, the green room and the store! I expect to keep coming back here for all my earth friendly supplies. Fav part is the refilling station for hand soap, shampoo etc.

This is one of my favorite places in Norwalk. I have been following them and shopping there since they opened, and it just keeps getting better and better. They have great gifts, and the coffee shop is amazing. I have been loving all of the events they have been hosting and think this is such an important place in the community!

First time here. Attended the comics open mic night. Eco Evolution is a unique place with very friendly service. The latte I had was one of the best. I will definitely be returning to do some shopping.

Went for the first time today and was surprised how large the store is. I found a lot of cute stuff for gifts. They also have cards. They have really good brands that I’ve only seen at farmers markets like loose leaf tea etc. Nice place to shop for unique gifts!

Best cafe on Washington! Many varieties of original natural flavored syrups and the coffee kicks!
The green room is a great place to chill for a min or get something done on the computer.
The gifts and goods here are local artisan made and all encompass an eco friendly soul.
The staff are super friendly and chill, Brad the eco dude is the man go say whaddup! There's also many pop up events here!!

Awesome store for eco-friendly products and gifts. They have bulk soap available by volume, bar shampoos and conditioners, thrift clothing, and much more. I love that they take recyclables too. If you want environmentally friendly products and want to save the shipping and packaging, go to Eco Evolution. Nice staff too.
