Every time I come to retrieve my online orders the staff is always very friendly and fast.

My last visit i experienced something a bit different however, at the pick up counter Manager by name of Michael was lacking a bit in the costumer service department however I had the pleasure to speak to Rick who was able to assist me with this and make sure I was able to get my order swiftly.

Very clearly over 21. Wasn’t purchasing the wine, didn’t even hold the bottles. The person purchasing wasn’t allowed to purchase even though he had identification. The cashier said a picture of the ID was okay and called a manager for an ID check and then the manager decided to change his mind and say no. The manager looked like he was younger than me, that’s how odd this all was. Has never happened at any total wine location except this one. I’ve 100% shown a photo of my ID if I’m not the one purchasing it and the purchaser has shown proper identification. Honestly worst location anyways, really bad store set up, lack of tasteful wines and extremely dusty shelves. It was slightly gross to touch the bottles from the layers of dust. Would not recommend. Best location is in coconut grove.

I asked for a bottle of which was supposedly upfront at the registers as I walk to the front the cashier informs me they don't have it proceeds to ask me if she can help the next customer seeing that they had one bottle thats fine after that it couldve been as if I never spoke with her at all she continued to ring up even the next custom with yet no move towards custom service. Exceedingly poor customer service at this establishment. The employees, including the managers, appeared uninterested about appropriate customer interaction. Two out of three individuals presented valid identification but the issue was not the enforcement of policy but rather the manner in which the staff communicated our inability to provide ID. All employees displayed unprofessional behavior, responding with condescension and laughter rather than respect. Total Wine should improve its communication regarding this policy upon entry instead of having its employees just walking around doing nothing and consider hiring more qualified and professional staff.

I had purchased a 4 pack of the pumpkin spice Dunkin drink and went I went home to try them it tasted rancid and not good at all. Almost as if they had gone bad. I only opened one can and the remaining 3 were in the box.

I went to total wine where I purchased it with my receipt and asked if there’s anyway to return or exchange these as they tasted expired/rotten and just not good and the cashier told me she had to call her manager which I thought was already strange to begin with. The manager comes and she tells me unfortunately she can’t take the return or give me any store credit because if it is expired or rancid then she can’t place it on the shelves and sell it and the store wont make any money off of it. It immediately threw me back because as a store manager, customer service comes first not disregarding the fact that I purchased something that is clearly rancid.

Then she suggests if I have a Halloween party just to gift it to friends, that they would appreciate it.

I told her I’m pretty sure something is wrong with these cans and it would be a safety issue doing that and she said that no one would have to know that.

It was rude, it was inconsiderate. I go to this Total Wine store multiple times a year. We go to get gifts for birthday and Christmas and I always do holiday parties and it’s my first stop to by beer or liquor but that experience was absolutely awful.

On December 16th I went to the Doral store to buy some wines for my clients, finally I decided on a special promotion, after paying, my wife checked the bill and did not understand it, we thought that the discount had not been applied, we called the manager and her behavior was rude and aggressive, speaking very loudly, and somewhat mocking, finally everything was clarified but definitely that type of person needs more education and training so that they have better customer service, in the end a wine to give as a gift can be found anywhere but with that bad attitude I definitely will not return to that place

Increíble que no pude comprar 3 miseras cajas de whisky , 3 de vino y 2 de champage para los regalos de diciembre de mis 3 empresa por tener un límite . Le expliqué al Manager que son empresas distintas y operativas en USA y me dijo que tenía un límite y no podía comprar 3 cajas que solo una luego le mostré que son empresas distintas, igualmente me dijo : es el mismo dueño . Cuando le dije que compraría en otro lado me
Salió que podía hacerlo online, y las podía retirar . No entiendo esa forma absurda de trabajar. No piso más nunca esa licorería . El servicio es PÉSIMO. Una estrella es demasiado para esa atención!!.

Absolutely horrible location! I recently had the most frustrating experience with this Total Wine. Their customer service is absolutely atrocious. When I presented valid forms of ID, they argued with me instead of resolving the issue. It's clear they have no understanding of proper customer service etiquette. They were rude, and thought the situation me and my friends were facing was hilarious and had made comments to their manger (Oliver S) and I quote “que malo tu eres “, we found this truly humiliating and I would strongly advise anyone to avoid this location at all costs. They clearly do not value their customers or their time.

What a terrible management. I placed an online order and went to pick it up curbside. I received my order and someone else's order as well (I did not notice about receiving someone else's order as well). I get a call about 20 minutes later informing me that I have received someone else's box in addition to mine, if I can please return it (because it had an expensive bottle of wine in it) and in consideration for the inconvenience I would be given a bottle of 818 Tequila. As one of the few good human beings in Miami, I took the box back (the next day) and "no one knew" about me being given the complimentary bottle of tequila. They gave me a $30 bottle of wine instead. At this point, it's not about the tequila it's about the lack of consideration, honesty and decency that no employee including management had in the store. Terrible management and lack of professionally to commit to something that was said, and the way we were spoken to was rude.

My recent experience at this store was quite disappointing. The manager questioned why I didn’t have my ID, despite my husband having his, and the authority with which they did so was very off-putting. It was not the store’s ID policy that bothered me, but rather the manager’s attitude. Their duty was to inform me, not to challenge me with such authority. The attitude was extremely disrespectful throughout the entire interaction.

Mario was so helpful. I went to this location to buy all the alcohol for my wedding and Mario was very attentive and helped us with all the different types of alcohols we needed to get. He helped us calculate how much we needed for the amount of guests and let us try all the wines. Thank you Mario, excellent customer service!

The worst experience ever, They treated us in a horrible and rude manner, plus I was accompanied by two minors, we were forced to take out our IDs, knowing that I was the only one who was going to purchase the alcohol (being an adult). It’s absurd. It doesn't make sense, when you enter they offer you alcohol without knowing whether or not you are of legal age. What changes? The lady who assist us and the manager were really disrespectful and we didn’t felt they were being welcomed.

Rude and petty staff who "didnt feel like getting arrested today". Im 18 and accompanied my 25 YEAR OLD cousin and we both showed ID when asked in line even though I was not purchasing anything. They would not sell even though my cousin is well over 21, but we were offered tips and drinks right upon walking in. Could have explained the rules better instead of being petty and why not just ask for ID right upon entering? Wasted our time and you lost a possible purchase 👍

I love total wine but unfortunately I received terrible service saturday night. I went in with my friend and we got into an empty line to checkout. We were in aisle one, being helped by Jorge I think was his name. As we were waiting, a couple got in line behind us. Jorge checked out my friends order, then told me I had to wait so he could ring up the couple behind me. His excuse was that they had a bottle of wine. I watched as he insisted that the couple step in front of me, even though they said they would rather wait. It was an extremely uncomfortable exchange and my friend just stood there and watched as she was waiting for me as well. I was the only black woman in the entire line, and quite honestly I believe for this to have been racially motivated. It was extremely disrespectful and unnecessary considering he was already helping us when no one else was in line. I would have understood if it was a long line or busy, but Jorge just chose to be rude and disrespectful. I am disappointed that these type of people work here. I am a paying customer like anyone else. This is a bad look for total wine. My friends and I will be visiting another store in the future.
