It's all about the thrill of the hunt! We have everything you need for every day, every holiday, and every occasion.
If I could give no stars, I would. My experience at this store on 1/8/25 was unacceptable, primarily due to the behavior of the manager on duty. The manager was rude, dismissive, and disrespectful—not only to my party but also to Reina, the sweet older cashier.
Reina had a question while assisting us, and instead of providing support, the manager responded abrasively while helping another customer, giving Reina a condescending look as if her question was unworthy of attention. When we asked questions ourselves, the manager’s tone made it clear we were an inconvenience. She spoke to us as if we didn’t matter and couldn’t be bothered to provide assistance.
To make matters worse, the manager didn’t have a name tag or any identification on her apron or shirt. When I asked if she was the manager, she gave a curt “yeah” without offering her name. This lack of professionalism and accountability is deeply disappointing.
I will not be returning to this store, and I sincerely hope that upper management or corporate addresses this feedback seriously. The decline in service and poor training of management is evident. Employees, especially those in leadership roles, should be personable and professional—or not work in customer-facing positions at all. This manager’s behavior made it abundantly clear that she did not want to be there, and it reflects poorly on the company as a whole.

Waste of time poorly stocked, dirty, and the customer service is in the pits. Not the cheapest option anymore. Best to shop other dollar stores where the service is decent. If you must, grab and go keep your head down. Expect absolutely NOTHING even management is nonchalant.

Who added the fake photos? Those are not of this Dollar Tree! This one is an absolute mess. ALL. THE. TIME. I ran in to grab bowls for Halloween and the line wrapped around the store, 16 people in line! ONE cashier! The store is an absolute disaster. I should know better, I’ll stick to Hiram!

The store was chaotic. Mostly empty, items were in the floor and misplaced. I do not go to Dollar Tree in urban areas because this is how they look. But this location in Douglasville was not an urban area. I walked in , saw the mess, and walked right back out.

Located next to Big Lots and Waffle House. Parking lot available for free and easy parking. Take either a right or a left at the light near the Target shopping center for easy access. Bigger than most dollar stores in the area.
Pros:
Store has an open layout - making it easier to see everything. Wide variety of products.
This is the best dollar tree near me. I go to the dollar tree at camp creek, off Old National, and the one an exit away from here next to Walmart - this one is the best. Why? Because they're STOCKED. I hate going to dollar tree just to view empty shelves. This location does the best at restocking, so things are actually available for you to choose.
The staff is usually nice and professional. No complaints. Some associates even asked me if I needed help.
Cons:
The entrance could have been mapped out better. But it is what it is. And the restocking is better than most, but still needs work. You'll still see an empty shelf or two.
Would I Recommend?
Absolutely! I personally shop there all the time.

I found a lot of items that I was looking for. I liked that they had the Snack Zone, the Plus Section, and a refrigerated section. The only thing I didn't like was that there were boxes everywhere. It was hard for me to push my cart around them. This store isn't organized but I still find what I'm looking for.

I had a very disappointing experience at the Chapel Hill Dollar Tree. While the older cashier, Reina, was sweet, patient, and understanding, the manager on duty was shockingly rude and unprofessional.
When Reina (the older cashier) asked for assistance with our transaction, instead of stepping in to help or offering guidance, the manager belittled her right in front of customers. She repeatedly told her to “just ring it up” without even trying to resolve the issue or explain the situation to the customer or the other cashier. The manager didn’t disclose her name would just say she was the manager, which only added to her dismissive and condescending attitude.
It was uncomfortable and upsetting to see a manager treat her team this way, especially someone as kind and dedicated as Reina. The lack of professionalism and customer service from the manager made this visit a negative experience.
I hope the store takes this feedback seriously and addresses the behavior of the management team. The hardworking employees, like Reina, deserve

So disappointed in my visit today at the Chapel Hill Rd. location in Douglasville. We love going to Five Below but this trip was a true representation of where the Brick & Mortar stores are headed I’m afraid. While shopping with my 2yr. old niece my sister moved one of the stock carts over for them to slip by and look on another aisle and the employees stocking the shelves began talking about her and “how rude some people are and can’t she see they are working” when my sister asked her if she was talking about her, the employee ignored her and then proceeded to shout from the back to the front of the store for the manager. After a brief discussion with the manager (who hesitated to give her name if we were going to report her), told us that she would speak to employee in private. I know that help is hard to find but Five Below come on, the employees don’t have name tags, shirts to wear to provide identification, where is the professionalism? What is happening to having employees with some degree of interpersonal skills? Are there no qualifications to be on the floor working around customers?
On another note, apparently the bathroom is out of order. We were told by an employee and then by the manager that because the stock room is so small that they have to use the bathroom to store product, thus not safe for customers to use so prior to this incident we had to leave and go up to PetSmart (who graciously allowed my niece to use theirs).

I went to this store yesterday, while waiting for my physical therapy appointment. The store was in such disarray. There were shopping carts full of merchandise blocking aisles, freight stacked everywhere. All of the aisles could use some serious zoning. I didn't stay long to shop, because it was so messy. I only bought three items, couldn't wait to get out of that mess. I saw one male stocking on the paper aisle, and two cashiers. One standing around doing nothing. The cashier that checked me out was very friendly.
I hope, if I ever decide to stop to shop there again, that someone takes pride in having a clean and organized store.

Starting to get a little more merchandise which makes shopping for things alot better. Just wish they would make sure to keep the hand sanitizer dispensers full so customers can sanitize their hands after having to work at the self checkout. Or clean the registers after each use.

This Dollar Tree location is notorious for only having 1 cashier with the line backed into an aisle. Other employees will see it and every once in a while jump in to help but most times will keep doing whatever they were. As expected, this is a no frills kind of store with some good items and even a lot of brand names but they may be smaller in size or now under the higher priced section. It's worth it to take a look before shelling out more money for the same thing at a big box store.

Good grief! What is happening dollar tree? This store used to be well maintained and stocked. Now every time I come here, inventory pallets are all over the store and the store is dirty. Looks like someone mopped the floor with a muddy rag. I could easily spend $50 on a visit in the past but now I go in and cant find what I want or the store so dirty and short staffed I be glad to get out empty handed. When we asked a worker where something might be since they changed up the aisle in some random crazy way, I kid you not, the lady answered “everything is everywhere”. Do better before you go out of business. I can go to pop shelf and get most things $1 rather than $1.25.

Good service in person but do not try to call and find out if anything is in stock. I waited on hold for 30 mins after the lady told me she would have someone check for me. Finally hung up and called back only for them still to have the phone off the hook (for over an hr). I tried back the next day and the phone just rung. No point to call, just have to go up there to see for yourself.

I’ve never left a review for a Dollar Tree location but the cashier I had was rude to me. She told me I had to take everything out of my mini basket so she can scan the items. I’ve NEVER been told this. Mind you I’m using a cane, it’s already difficult, but she didn’t care. I’ll never come back to this location. First and last time. Did I mention I had to ask her to separate the human food from the dog food and candles? Ya. Great service.

One star to be able to leave a review. The old woman with short hair and glasses went off for no reason, apparently she ran out of money in the register and aggresively slung the coins into the register. Cussed in front of my young children and continued to go off on her coworker who told her to calm down. No apology from any representative whatsoever. I left livid but what can you really do when you don't wanna make a bigger scene in front of kids. Merry Christmas Eve to you too. You suck at customer service.
