I visited here to do a couple repairs to help keep the already immaculate kitchen running smoothly. The good-hearted owner offered to make me a sandwich to go when I ended up working till dinner time. I opted for a turkey and ham sandwich. Wow. It's not easy to make a simple sandwich exceptional. The sandwich rolls are large and light and fluffy and her special sauce and herbs are unique and very very good. Don't know where she finds her veggies but they are exceptionally good. You will almost certainly want to go back for more.

I hope that the owner receives this constructive criticism. I am not sure if the owner is aware of this or not, but she is not very pleasant. If you speak, she does not speak back, if you have questions about the menu, she does not demonstrate professionalism or patience. It takes nothing to be kind. I want to support, but the owner needs to make an effort to recognize that her attitude is just not the best. There are other hoagie places in the area who have better customer service and the prices are more reasonable. The prices here are just not very competitive at all. The product is awesome, but good customer service is important. My hope is that the owner will receive this complaint and not view it as an attack on her business or her personally. This is simply to provide feedback in the hopes that the service will improve. If people did not care, they would not take the time to provide feedback. My hope was that you would receive this constructively. It appears that you feel that people are out to get you. I never mentioned race. So you say it was not you, but why are you not concern that some of your employees don't have the best attitudes. Instead of applying the information to improve your business you would rather attack the person who wrote the review. I don't understand that at all. You seem to think that no one in your establishment has a bad attitude. You also seem to think that you are being treated unfairly because you are black. The color of the skin has nothing to do with business transactions and the service a person receives. Stop using the race card. Everyone is not jealous of your establishment. I called last minute an hour before they closed. They said they could make a pan but cash only. While going to the bank not sure if I would make it in time. Prices went up dramatically, Horrible Customer Service and Very Bad Attitude, Not Patient, always giving the wrong time to pick up an order, The Bread was molded and I didn't even bother to want another sandwhich from here again. The city will definitely be called out to check because after seeing a insect in the window I thought it was a ant but im starting to wonder what's behind the counter. This place and others should have to definitely be made public to how they are handling your food because you just never know. I Rather go to a Mr.Sub or Subway where I can see them preparing my food

Had the Big Krave foot long and it was delicious. I ordered through DoorDash but I called first because I had some questions. The young lady who I spoke with answered my questions and I was able to make a great selection. I will definitely be back both online and in person.

Food was excellent, but they will not accept tax exempt letters. You will lose valuable business from school districts who want to support you. I can't use you for large orders due to our district being tax exempt.

I used the catering service for my husband's 75th birthday and retirement celebration. The sandwiches were fresh and ready at the appointed time. Everyone at the party raved about the sandwiches. The hoagies was good but they are too high. I think she'll get more business if she drop the prices... plus add some mayo and mustard to the sandwiches instead of 1 pack of mayo and 1 pack of mustard for a whole foot long. Otherwise it was great!!!

This place is really small, not spectacularly decorated carryout menu. The service was amazing the prices were great and the sandwiches were so very tasty. The bread, the oil I'm not sure what to put my finger on but I will say all in all the combination of everything together made for a fabulous sub /hoagie. Definitely will go again.

The customer service is outstanding. The owner and the staff are very friendly and courteous. I called as soon as I got in town and they managed to fit my order in and have it ready quickly. The sandwiches were delicious as always and I highly recommend this restaurant. It’s the first place that I go to directly from the airport. Treat yourself to Kozy Korner... you won’t be disappointed.

I absolutely love these sandwiches. However, the customer service isn’t so great. My husband had a simple conversation with the owner regarding the difficulties of placing orders online. She was very dismissive and arrogant. She made comments like, “I made 6 figures with my app.” Who cares, we go to work and make 6 figures as well?!? Then she’s commenting about making orders perfect for the mayor of Chicago...again, who cares?!? We’ll probably be going back to Home of the Hoagy!

OMG!! So I learned of Kozy Korner through am unfortunate incident, my father in law passed and a friend of the family brought these sandwiches in. I called her recently to get the recipe because I was bashing them lolbvs. She told me she didn't make them she got them from a Deli in Dolton IL, she couldn't remember the name. I googled Delis in Dolton IL as soon as I saw the pictures of the sandwiches I knew those were it. I had to drop my son back in Chicago this past Saturday and she kept me updated once I ordered especially with the Lock Down going on. I was not disappointed at all. Thank you so much Kay!! Your service and sandwiches we're beyond awesome!!

I waited for 20 minutes for 2 sandwiches. There was a young girl came after me, and received her food before me. I told the guy I was there before for her. He just said sorry. And he knew she came after me and ordered. When I got home I noticed that he only gave me 2 slices of meat for both sandwiches. I use to like this place. But not anymore.

I went here on my 30 minute break yesterday 10/22/2019, ordered online and order to be picked up at 130 pm, they text me at 127pm to say they don’t have the meat I chose 🙄, the door was locked, maybe they need to do something about security issues , this isn’t the first incident I’ve had, one time they were out of bread, this place was really good, they are slacking now, guy didn’t offer a discount for my sandwiches yesterday, all I got was I’m sorry🤨 won’t be going back here🤷‍♀️

I reached out to Kozy Korner catering for a special order for my uncle funeral 1 day prior (very last minute). I was contacted back by the owner to confirm my order. I mentioned that my uncle had passed and he and my family loves the sandwiches. Ms. K the owner was absolutely wonderful. I mentioned to her we were on a bit of a budget so I just wanted a tray or 2. She was so amazing that she sent her condolences and sent an extra tray to our family for being great customers over the years. Let me just say these sandwiches are OFF THE CHAIN. Everyone at the repass tore them up!!! They were fresh and perfect!!! She even pleased our vegetarian family by making some veggie sandwiches! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 OFF THE CHAIN!!! On the kozy korner 2 Facebook page I commented and told the owner how I loved her sandwiches and the reason I stopped patronizing her business. A little over a year ago I came inside the business to purchase a large pan of sandwiches and the young man (who I found out was her son) told me they didn't accept $100 dollar Bill's. He told me to go get change or go next door to Fairway to make a purchase. The owner assumed by my polite Facebook comment that I had an attitude which I didn't and still don't but seeing as how that's her son I understand her jumping on defensive mode. Anyway of course she deleted my comments after telling me because she's a black business I decided not to shop there anymore because they ran out of change. I commented and said how is that the fault of the customer if a business ran out of change although her son never said that I guess she's making an excuse for him. Apparently her and her staff isn't on the same accord and she's offended or upset when ppl speak on an experience that involve her business. She will only show the good stuff so I decided to post it here. You should have frequent staff meetings that way all your stories match and stop being offended by the mishaps involving this business. I spend my hard earned money where me as a customer is satisfied whether the business is black owned or not. Think about how different you could have handled my complaint not one time did you apologize or suggest to please give your business another opportunity. Your approach and attitude is horrible not business professional at all

In response to your reply. I have screenshots of our whole comment thread so you're just a liar liar don't get on Google and try to act like I passed him a counterfeit bill or some sort. He NEVER even took the money out my hand. He saw I was paying with a $100 dollar bill and said we don't take $100 dollar bill. It was straight from Chase bank atm so it wouldn't have mattered if you him or whoever's called the police. You wasn't even there so you automatically assuming the business didn't have change. These are THE BEST hoagie sandwiches in the area. I made the mistake of bringing a small tray to work and got my coworkers strung out. Always made fresh too.

They have the best sub sandwiches, all made from Turkey. Turkey salami, etc. Really, they make a dynamite sandwich.

On January 22 at 5:40 PM me and my husband came to this restaurant he ordered their signature Mesquite turkey foot-long and he ordered me the white breast foot-long my foot long was horrible no way in the world was that white turkey breast the meat was very horrible and a very poor quality of meat My husband ordered the Mesquite turkey and they only gave him 2 pieces of Mesquite turkey breast and the rest of the meat that was on his sandwich was the same meat I had on my sandwich and he picked it all off the meat was just very poor but the bread was good and fresh and the vegetables .$20.54 On sandwiches that went in the garbage

Always yummy sandwiches.

I do not believe the 5 star ratings are coming from people who know better. I would bet money this establishment has something to do with any rating over 2. These dry a$$ sandwiches could possibly... MAYBE get by... BUT the rude forced kindness service would make someone not even want to give it a 2nd try. It is very apparent by the owner's responding to each review of the attitudes. I have yet to be in a conversation with anyone else that is crazy about this place; only complaints!

First off I'll say this. I have never been to this place and love hoagies. I spend a great deal of money on them. After looking at whom ever responds to these post. I will never ever spend my money with you guys. You have to be some kind of idiot to respond reckless like this smh. If sears and Walmart can go out of business anyone can. Good luck with your business just as fast as it's given it can be taken away. Stay humble.

I tried this place out for the first time yesterday. It's hard to find a good deli theses day and they popped up on my google search. I have to say that the hoagy I bought yesterday was FIRE! Everything was fresh. They only take cash so be ready. They are pretty quick and you get more than enough. This is my new deli. Black owned. Nice Menu. Order out only.

I absolutely love this place, I would recommend Kozy Korner to anyone. The staff is always professional and even when it's crowded you still get your food in a timely matter. Best hoagies I have ever tasted.
