Tons of options. Some unique ones that other places don’t offer. We were happy with our breakfast. Everything tasted good. Service with the first waiter was not great. Her attitude was poor. We asked to move to a different table bc we were put in a side room that was all windows. The sun was out and in our eyes so we asked to move to a different table. The new waiter we got was exceptional.

Staff was very welcoming. We had a very large party of people and they managed to serve us all very well even when it was a busy time. The staff were kind even when we had stayed a little past our time and had to make way for other patrons. Food all came out quickly and was tasty by all accounts I received. My family has gone to honey and jams in the area and will continue to in the future.

We were worried there would be a wait due to the amount of cars in the lot, but we were seated immediately. Wait Staff was friendly and gave us time to look at the menu. Mimosa was tasty and coffee was fresh. Highly recommend the nova lox platter. Salmon was great and the veggies fresh.

My girlfriend got the chicken and waffles and the amount of chicken was pathetic and keeping in mind is a $20 plate.

We will never spend our money here again it’s a complete scam.

It’s a slap in the face how ridiculous this place is.

I had the divorsiados plate. I saw the mexicanos working in the kitchen and said they might just get the salsa right. But I guess they must follow the recipe. There is no spice to the salsas. I would just get the American breakfast next time.

Restaurant was clean and updated. Had nice seating and we were seated right away. Unfortunately after we ordered, we had to wait 45 minutes to receive our food. Our waitress was running all over helping other customers so we couldn’t ask for a refill on water or anything. Great food as always once it arrived. Had to eat fast and leave though because it took so long to get our meal.

First, & probably last visit. While the food was pretty good, service was spotty, with server absent for extended periods. And while it may not be the norm, atmosphere was VERY loud, with several young kids just running about. Not necessarily fault of the restaurant, but maybe speaks to the clientele.

Food is mid but the people are friendly and it has a nice ambiance. My issue is that their prices online do not reflect their current inflated prices. I only went there one other time two years ago and I never went back (until today) for the same reason. That time, I paid over $20 for a skillet and was shocked so I just let them know that they need to update their prices online so people know what to expect and the manager said they would get on that asap. It’s now been two years since then and I just faced the same problem except prices went up even more so I’m pretty frustrated that this problem hasn’t been resolved and this will be my last time going there period. Bummer

First time visit today! Everything was AMAZING! The restaurant is huge, modern, and clean, especially loved the beautiful branded coffee mugs! Our waitress was wonderful, sweet and attentive! Our breakfast was DELICIOUS! Portions are well worth the price! We even had leftovers as everything as so filling! I highly recommend the Honey Jam biscuits to start, served with mixed berry jam and honey cinnamon sugar! We will definitely return!

Terrible service. Got seated, then ignored for almost 15 minutes. Finally got up and left, and drive over to Lemont Street Cafe where I had a scrumptious waffle combo which was also $3 cheaper than the one on Honey Jam’s menu. Sorta glad they blew me off so I could discover Lemont Street Cafe!

We love Honey Jam. We go almost every Sunday after church. The service and food are always top notch. I order something different nearly every time but I almost always get a side order of biscuits and gravy. It's the best B&G around other than when I make it myself! Highly recommend Honey Jam

Honey Jam Cafe quickly became our go-to breakfast spot after moving to Downers Grove. Its close proximity to our place makes it incredibly convenient, although it can get quite crowded on weekdays.
We've been here twice now, and the service has been consistently excellent on both occasions. Our recent visit only reaffirmed our positive experiences. One thing that always stands out is the freshness of the coffee, which adds to the overall enjoyment of the meal.
On this particular visit, we decided to try the BANANA NUT BREAD STREUSEL FRENCH TOAST and Jay's Iron Man Omelette, with an upgrade to Tres Leches French Toast. The combination was a delight to the taste buds – delicious and satisfying. What impressed us was not just the quality of the food but also the speed of service, making our breakfast experience even more enjoyable.
In summary, Honey Jam Cafe has become our breakfast haven in Downers Grove. With consistently excellent service, fresh coffee, and a delicious menu, it's the perfect place to start your day. We look forward to many more visits to explore the diverse offerings on their menu.

We went for brunch for my mom's birthday with my 3 other siblings and he took a pic for us and we even included him in one of the photos lol..

Some of the waitresses seem prejudice. I hate having this feeling but this has happened to me a couple of times. I noticed the different interactions between customers. I over looked it the first time but this time the restaurant was wasn’t busy so therefore, I had a chance to do a more clearer observation. This is said because I frequent this restaurant chain very often and visit at lease 1 to 2 times per week because the food is pretty good and the locations are great. Lately my visits have been more frequent just to get out of the house alone just to get a piece of mind. Tip: Treat people like you like to be treated, you never know what a person may be going through.

I started ordering delivery from Honey Jam during the pandemic. The food has always been and continues to be amazing. I've eaten in the restaurant a few times too and the people here are great.
But today's when I learned that the folks here are amazing. We had a large carryout order to celebrate some good news with teh kids, and despite some bad luck the staff here were amazing the whole way through. They fixed the issue, no problem and took great care of me and my family. I couldn't be happier with how nice and kind everyone was while we fixed the issues and got us on our way. AND, the food was still amazing when we got home.

Thanks again, could not recommend more for a breakfast spot in South DG/Darien.

Really amazing place. Pumpkin spice latte was incredible. Chicken and waffles were 10/10. Even had a chipotle syrup which blew me away. Server was incredibly kind and attentive. Will be back.

I have visited other HoneyJam Cafe's and the experience has always been nice. But here it has been better. The server and very attentive and polite. They made me feel welcomed. Now, let's talk about the food. I had French toasts with fresh strawberries, I had the option of choosing between fresh and jelly, which is great. My husband had the blueberry pancakes, a stack of 5! If you have a big rather at home, this is the one for you. Also, the food did not take for ever or a server to come, they were right there and the food was out quicker than expected. Everything tastes fresh and delicious. Can't wait to be back! I have to say, I came here Friday, and returned today, so it was that great!

I had a meal here with my in-laws. Actually, they had meals and I ordered a French toast Frappuccino which made me feel sick later due to the milk. Tasted like milk with cinnamon. Wasn't a fan. However, my in-laws really enjoyed their breakfast. The bathroom could use some work but the rest of the establishment was clean and nice looking.

I always enjoyed Downers Delight. Now they changed to Honey Jam, no menu complaints here. The food is consistently delicious and the service is friendly. The outside patio and interior furniture can use an upgrade since the name change. The Butterfield location is better decorated for an older version but I look forward to see what they do to improve this restaurant.
