Greenstar Paperie On Main Street in Downers Grove is a treasure to our community. It has a wonderful collection of clever cards, entertaining accessories and excellent seasonal hostess gifts. In addition the owner, Linda, is a practical and creative guide for event planning and custom invitations. She is talented and a wonderful problem solver. Linda quickly created personal labels for an upcoming baby shower. They were perfect! I highly recommend Greenstar Paperie (west side of Main & just south of Grove).

Lynda is AMAZING! I was referred to her by a mutual friend to design and print my wedding invitations, but she ultimately ended up designing not only the wedding invites, but our menus, seating chart, favor tags, signs etc. I gave her a few pics of my ideas and told her what I was looking for and she made made my vision a reality and then some! She's easy to work with, provides lots of suggestions and guidance, and the quality of the prints were worth every penny. I am beyond happy with everything she did for us. So many adorable paper goods, custom stationary and perfectly curated gifts! It’s been my go-to for personalized gifts for family and friends- and it does not disappoint! Everyone has loved what they’ve received. The experience of being inside the store is only made better by chatting with the owner, Lynda! No matter what (amazing!!!) project she is working on she always finds time to stop and chat— feels like connecting with an old friend! This is everything I want a stationery shop to be. Great selection of cards, gorgeous office supplies, always ready with gifts for the season (whether it's back to school, teacher appreciation, 4th of July, Christmas, etc). Picked up some festive goodies to drop in the mail and was so very impressed. The shop was decorated so adorably and they had everything you could possibly need for the holiday cards and gift giving.. Just wish my kids were younger for the letters to Santa!
With the wedding invite shift of 2020, the owner Lynda has really made this a destination for all paper needs. Will certainly be going back for personalize stationary!

I've had the honor of working with Lynda over a number of years on a variety of projects. Time and again she flexes her graphic design wizardry in my direction, and I'm grateful for it each time. My husband and I worked with Lynda at Greenstar Paperie for our February 2019 wedding and could not be happier with our decision! Lynda helped make our save the date and wedding invitation dreams come to life! Our first interaction with Lynda was over the phone to create our save the dates. She was patient with us, was in constant communication & helped create the perfect save the dates for our Chicago winter wedding! After seeing the work she created, we knew we were in the perfect place for our invitation suites! We met with Lynda in her adorable studio to discuss our invitation dreams. She listened to us and gave her professional input where needed. We are still receiving compliments on the elegance and class of our invitation suites! I highly recommend Lynda to anyone wanting beautiful paper goods. Wedding invites, thank you notes, stationary, Lynda can create it all! Recommended to my fiancé and me by our wedding planner, You Name It Events, we knew we had to work with Lynda within minutes of meeting her at our wedding invitation consultation. She is vibrant, fun, professional, and honest—not only qualities that I admire but also desperately needed when planning our wedding.

Without me fully knowing how to convey my invite vision, Lynda “got it” right away. She took my random mumblings about how much “I love sparkly things but still want elegance” and designed the PERFECT invitation. I couldn’t dream of anything better. Lynda designed creative, fresh and timely products for two weddings in in our family in 2017. Each wedding had its own style and Lynda captured each beautifully in all the products she created, from Rehearsal Dinner Invitations, Wedding Suite, Ceremony Program, Table Number Cards, Post Wedding Brunch invitations and Christmas cards highlighting these family events. I met Lynda at a bridal expo and immediately was drawn to her energy and knowledge of paper, ink and graphics. She designed our whole wedding suite and kept our theme of "cozy romantic" throughout all of the creations. Excellent service, excellent quality, affordable and fast.

I needed invitations for a 40th birthday and I didn't like any of the pre-made, generic types typically found online or in party shops. Even "traditional" stationery stores like Papyrus and Paper Source only offered very basic templates without a lot of room for creative freedom. The other end of the spectrum were independent custom stationery shops focusing mainly on wedding invitations who required a $2,000 minimum order and needed 6-8 weeks for production.

Amidst frustrations while scouring the internet for someone to create and print something NOT wedding related, I happened upon Greenstar Paperie. Lynda was a dream to work with because she is responsive, listens to what you are looking for, and wastes no time putting ideas together. Even though my order was on the smaller size, no detail was spared, the invitations ended up being more gorgeous than I had hoped for, and I never felt like my business was ever pushed to the side for the larger clients.

Lynda is an exceptionally talented artist, who is also friendly, personable and professional. I would definitely recommend her services to any of my friends and family.

My twin daughters both were married within the last year. Coordinating all of our printing needs was incredibly easy thanks to Lynda. She had so many creative suggestions for bridal shower invitations, wedding invitations, programs and even a large seating assignment board to be placed on an easel at the reception. I had no idea what to expect when I met with Lynda to discuss branding for my small business. First off, I liked her right away. She has a warm and friendly way about her that makes everyone feel at ease. She's very fun and personable, I felt as though I was meeting with friend.
