i got 18 bagel the lady didn’t wont to put cheese inside them she said you do it yourself, i got also 2 dozen of muffin as you see in the photo she put the food above each other, and she didn’t put knifes in the order to use it for adding cheese in the bagel and i haded to drive back to get them

Nice neighborhood option but don't appreciate going there and never knowing what they'll be out of that day.

Every time I go:

"Oh, sorry, we're out of that. Sorry, we're out of that, too. Sorry, we ran out of those an hour ago."

Good prices.

Amount of cream cheese you receive highly variable upon particular employee. I imagine most ppl like a good amount on there. Half of them will give it to you but half will spread on a meager and disappointing amount.

Lines in the morning take an extremely long time to get thru. Even just four groups/ppl ahead of me and I'm 50/50 whether I feel like spending 20 minutes there for a bagel.

Their muffins are crazy good. They taste as good as they look, too. Thry're so good I have to actively not order them ever (maybe once/year) otherwise I'll purchase 4 to get the bulk discount and now I'm fat again. If you don't care about getting fat then these pure fat/sugar muffins are pure joy. They really know what they're doing with muffins.

Their coffee is weak and the specialty drinks they make from it taste watery.

Love they've managed to stick around forever and to have them as an option in the neighborhood.

This review has nothing to do with service, the service is great. I want to point that out. Other than how they process orders, they are nice people and have the best intentions. IF YOUR FROM A BIGGER CITY DONT EXPECT A PROPER BAGEL AND SCHMEAR! I’ve been here twice now (to see if it was just an off day) and what I’ve experienced is some form of circular tough not chewy bread with a hole Moses can walk through with and maybe he had a part in parting the carbs. I just wish somewhere had a proper bagel and schmear but till I return to the land of my people this is what I get I guess I will be making them at home again :(.

November 2022 I waited about 10 minutes for service because there was only one girl behind the counter. A little stressful because I only get a 30 minute break including drive time but no big deal. A woman came into the store and a second employee came out from the back and served her immediately while I was still waiting which made my lengthy wait very frustrating.

July 2022 I had a weird experience today. The girl behind the counter offered me a muffin and a pickle insisting they were free and then I was charged $3.60 more than just the price of the bagel. I told her a couple of times I just wanted the bagel.

I've been here a couple of times now and I absolutely love it! Food is good, drinks are good, service is normally pretty quick. I've had sandwiches and muffins and now I can't ever decide what I want because it's all so good. I absolutely love the French toast bagel!

I stopped this morning to pick up my usual, and a new face had greeted me to take my order. I could tell she was smiling under her mask, and she gave me a true feeling of welcome, and that my business was appreciated. I do not know her name, but she has red hair. I consider her to be a model after which some behind the counter should strive to emulate. Thanks to her for starting my day off in a fantastic state!

Today was my third or fourth visit at BAB. I absolutely think the food is beyond delicious and the drinks are very good. It always seems to be busy inside whenever I come around, so they must be doing something right. As much as I am satisfied with the food and precuts, I must admit the service is kind of on the 50/50 scale. Don't get me wrong, all the girls are nice and attentive. But when it comes to product knowledge (pricing, name's of bagels or other things) they really don't know..,well any of it. I'm kind of thrown off that whenever I asked about a price of the dog bone or the muffins I got a "I don't know" and she just trailed off and left me standing there. If she was walking away to ask about the prices, she never did come back. Thanks for leaving me ignored. I'm not even sure if its worth going back for.

Very good bagels and decent coffee. The icespressos are a bit over syruped, or at least they were when I ordered some. I like the poppyseed bagels but they also have really good "fun" flavors too. A box of 12 is kinda pricey but if you want a good bagel then you should definitely check it out.

I've been rambling down to Judy's Place for a few years simply because it feels homey. Typically, I occupy the same corner table tucked next to the beverage machine and, along with a friend, enjoy great coffee, superb bagels (try the pretzel or the poppy seed) and smiling service. I suggest a twice-toasted bagel for the added crispiness. The muffins are tasty, but the cinnamon rolls are great. Because BABS is locally owned makes it even more important to support her business.

Great bagels and sandwiches. This shop makes especially good breakfast sandwiches. The drinks are a mixed bag. I like the coffee, but not blended coffees. The smoothies are from a box, but are very tasty. This is a Dubuque favorite and the wait times can reflect that. Also be warned it is not open for dinner at all.
