I'm switching to a local pharmacy where I'm not forced to take a bottle that could fit a DECADE's supply of multi-vitamins!

Love Shopping at Walgreens! They have the cutest seasonal items for a fair price. Also love the variety of toys for children. I find the coolest toys that other stores do not carry. Staff is Very Friendly and Helpful as well!

Never again, go in lady is having issues using her card, we're all waiting, another girl comes up making a rude comment to other cashier about wearing a headset. Go to the girls register, check out, and she says, oh your card says payment not accepted, so I check card to make sure it's not locked, as theres no reason it shouldn't be working, she just looks at. Me with a dumb look, needless to say I get to the car and all three charges have gone through, (not pending) not held , they billed. So I go back and try to explain to the gal I'm well aware how authorization holds and charges work, and show her that all three of them billed. No they didn't she says, well they sure did, she just looks at me and basi ally says it's not Walgreens problem, it's your card, the guy after you, used a card and his was fine. I'm thinking that's rude and unprofessional, so I tell her I'll be calling to talk to a manager. I'm pissed at this point, a quick stop for two items has taken almost an hour, and the girl is staring at the ground like she's new. Telling me that I Cn call and talk to the manager tomorrow, and I asked her name (manager) Suzy I beleive she said. But the says she's gonna tell you to call your card because again it's not thier issue. We'll after calling my card, they literally see Walgreens in the process of refunding one of the charges. Ugh. I'm a pretty patient person, but instead of telling someone it's basically not thier problem, and not bothering to check on something, take responsibility for your job. If your registers aren't working reboot them. Don't act like it's the customers fault or non store issue. Because apparently it clearly was,. Because my card was fine at the next two stops I made. This location, is off my shopping locations.

I had a prescription sent to them Monday. They said they'd fill it by Tuesday when I contacted the Monday. When I got no call Tuesday, I went in Wednesday morning where I was told it would actually take more time, close to a week. They said it was a specialty drug that only Walgreens could order. I then called Friday to check in, and they informed me that they could not actually order the prescription because Walgreens did not have access to the drug I needed. I have gone a whole week, not having the drug I need, and now my clinic is closed for the holiday weekend. By the end of this I will not have been able to get the drug I need for at least 9 days because of their lack of communication.

ORDER YOUR PHOTOS AT HARTIG DRUG!!!! I cannot express how disappointed I am with the photo service at every Walgreens in Dubuque, specifically this location. Many of my photos have had important parts cut off (faces/words/etc) - this has happened multiple times amongst the various locations. I just received a packet of photos, expecting an 8×10 of my daughter only to find an 8×10 of a random family!!! Around Christmas, I made a special trip to pick up a custom gift order, only to find out they accidentally pressed a button to send an email that my order was ready, when it was in fact, NOT ready. A completely wasted trip. SAVE YOUR TIME AND ORDER PHOTOS ELSEWHERE.

Chris, the store manager, would not refund/replace the full $17 for a damaged (broken seal! Bottle of cough syrup) product. My husband did not get a receipt because the cashier up front was coughing and he wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. He did, however, punch in our phone number, which should track all purchases. Chris said “it doesn’t matter. That’s not how it works, we can only refund the lowest sale price.” But why was I charged $17 and not the “lowest sale price” then? Extremely rude, awful customer service. Not only did you sell us a broken product, but wouldn’t even let us exchange a fixed product for the full amount. I hope Walgreens enjoys my $5. Unreal.

They can't read notes from doctors, never have prescriptions ready, even though they'll call you and let you know it's been filled. So many pharmacy issues.

Audrey (in the pharmacy) is truly exceptional!!! Her customer service was above and beyond, and I am so grateful! Aubrey went as far as to call my insurance twice, which took her awhile since I was having trouble with a prescription. Then she called me to let me know it had been resolved (only with her help). I wish there were more people like Audrey, this world would be nicer :)

I went to get my boyfriends COVID19 medicine. He had a bad COVID infection, urgent care sent his rx here bc the VA was closed. Walgreens kept us waiting then denied us service because they wouldn’t take my civilian insurance. Thing is, the VA reimburses pharmacies, and my COVID meds are free anyway. Had to go to a different pharmacy, risk more public COVID exposure, and wait longer. Vets, don’t use this Walgreens.

Well ... this has never happened
at a Walgreens, but here we are. Manager AUDREY was EXTREMELY RUDE as I asked for the credit on 3 different items that were over charged when checking out.
This happened at 8 p.m. on Monday, May 2, 2022. NOT the experience I have very had at a Walgreens, ever.

She was challenging, confrontational, and tried to explain I received the best price with my 20% off coupon... obviously not!
The total that I originally paid was $32.39 in actually it was re-rang at $27.02 which is 18% difference of $5.37.

I was in on Easter night was looking for snacks and found cashews on sale like they always are. When I went up to pay for them for some reason they weren’t ringing up that way. When I asked the person at the counter why they didn’t ring up like they always did he started screaming at us saying they aren’t on sale. He told us to grab the tag and he will fix it as he was continuing to disrespect us. For me that would have been a red flag and I would have walked out and never came back but my husband went back to grab the tag and the man(Who we found out from another employee was the night manager/ who also told us that he has many reports just like this against him) then said to us that he would have just gave us the deal if we didn’t start anything with him when we didn’t he started being rude and ignorant for us asking one simple question. The night manager than goes to continue saying the reason he made us go grab the tag was because he likes to do this to people and prove them wrong. It doesn’t matter if we were or weren’t going to be wrong there is no reason to treat anyone like that. I shouldn’t be shaking standing at the counter in front of other people because the manager wants to argumentative and ignorant for us asking a question. The other employee himself shouldn’t be afraid of his own manager neither.

Maddie in the photo department is absolutely WONDERFUL!!! I won't go anywhere else because of Maddie!!! Any gift that I have ever made at Walgreens, Maddie has helped me every step of the way and she does it with a smile on her face!!! She has AWESOME customer service skills, she is very helpful, she always has a smile on her face and is an asset to your store!!! THANK YOU MADDIE for being AMAZING, keep up the great work!!! Went to pick up prescription and the pharmacy technician and couldn’t enter my insurance information correctly. I had to get my insurance company’s help desk on the phone with the pharmacy technician and she still could not be walked through the process. I had to transfer my prescription to a more competent pharmacy. I understand that she might not have been trained but she was rude the entire time.
Lost my business going forward.

I was just in this location trying to find benadryl chewable. My daughter got stung by a bee so I was trying to run in to get it for her. The pharmacy staff was really rude. I looked myself and could not see it. So I asked them and they looked it up in their computer to direct me back to the location that I was. I must have been missing it but I guess helping me find it was not important because they would not step out to help me look. BTW this was at 9 pm and no one was there. There were two associates there too. Let's just say I went to hyvee to get it instead

Pharmacy employees are incompetent. They don’t know what they are doing. Don’t know how many times I have gone in expecting my prescription and been told so had to wait a couple days. Then go in couple days later and I still have to wait a couple days. Why work there if you don’t know what your doing or talking about.

This Walgreens is amazing! I have always been able to get in and out with no problems at all. The general or store manager here is beyond exceptional and goes out of his way to assist any of the customers that he comes by. I'll always shop here regardless of the time of day.

This is my go to walgreens, only because it's the closest to my house. I've become close to a few pharmacy employees, otherwise I'd never step a foot in the store. I'll break it down 1) Customer service is 0. Nobody is ever enthused enough to help you. 2) Photo department never has anyone present 3) Nobody ever explains anything to you 4 ) God forbid you need to go to the drive-thru pharmacy. I've come so close to switching even went as far as signing up at the different pharmacy but the fact that they know who I am at Walgreens pharmacy keeps me coming back, but not for long. Drive thru is terrible in almost all ways. Worst is their pace which is- well a turtle would beat them at the finish line. Plus they put NEW people who are hardly trained to take care of us...it's like this is DRIVE THRU you know, pick up meds and go. McDonald's is faster than this. and 5) The prices are just ridiculous. Even walgreens brand stuff is outrageous. I cant even. I'm so sad.

Just went throught the perscription pick up. I filled my perscription pilled around to wait 25 mins. (They told me it would be ready in 20) I pulled back up and had to wait another 20 mins behind another car. Fine, but when i went to get my perscription, the lady told me it wasnt ready yet and to pull around so she could help someone else...I just waited 20 mins behind a car that you didnt make pulled around. Im not going to loose my spot to 4 other cars in line when ive already been there fore 45mins. She caught an attitude with me and told me to just wait there then. Rolled her eyes and walked off...

Your location on the corner of JFK and Dodge in Dubuque IA just refused to take my legal tender because it looked "too old" not only that but the cashier physically took my money from my view and walked it into the back for a "manager to look at it" before coming out and telling me no in front of a line of people, insinuating that I was trying to give them fake money. Really freaking humiliating for someone who just needed Carmex. Guess what?! I went to the Hyvee gas station across the street, they used the pen on it, confirmed it was real and took my money for my Carmex like a business that wants to make money does.
Get your employees those pens and have your lazy managers come out front to confirm the cash instead of hiding in back.

I went into this store on the 5th of December to buy a $500 iTunes card and it didn't go well!!! The cashier swiped the iTunes card then I used my debit to pay for it and she said our system must be down go try another card. So I tried a $100 iTunes card and the system took that one. So I asked the cashier, I'm not getting charged the $500 on your systems malfunction on the first card.... she said no!!! The system of theirs spit out a cancelled recipe saying no charge... I immediately went home, checked my account and seen that they did in fact charge my account the $500!!!! I talked to my bank to confirm this and it was!! I then called back to the store the same day and talked to the store manager CHRIS(a guy) and told him what happened and he said he's got all the transaction information, recipe and now my information to send off to his corporate heads.... I'm still waiting on MY MONEY!!!!!!!! It has been over 2 weeks with this store/company not doing a thing!!! Chris is the store manager and all he has to do is write it up as a " customer relations " issue, give me back my $500 that they have sitting in his store, in his office, but does nothing!!!! My next step is going to be a legal one because they leave me no choice!!! And I will make sure they pay that bill too.......

I received about the rudest phone conversation I've ever had when calling to ask questions about there photo area. I was calling to make a large quantity request for a promotion I'm doing and the woman wouldn't give me 30 seconds on the phone. I will not ever work with Walgreens nor will I refer my clients to you.
