I went to the beer and liquor section. I am from out of town and the gentleman that helped me was very helpful. I asked about the local breweries. He informed that they don't bottle but recommend what brewery to visit.

I really like the cafe in the stores. Good service, good food and good prices. Always had a good experience. Unfortunately, Hy-Vee cafes don't immediately come to mind when thinking about where to go for dinner, lunch or breakfast. But, its still good.

I had a great experience at this Pharmacy. It was busy as ever at 4:30 but the technicians and pharmacist were so kind and patient. I got my Covid booster here from Stacy and she was so kind and helpful. Kudos to all the folks working here!!

Purchased two bags of curds from this store. One expired a week before I purchased it. The other was expired back in February. That means it's been sitting expired on the shelf for over five months. I contacted corporate and never heard a peep. This must be regular practice at this location. Watch what you buy here.

By far the worst hy vee in Dubuque. Dangerous parking area, Things are hard to find, the beer and liquor are in a separate area, very uncomfortable to shop w kids if you'd like to grab wine or beer, and the flower selection here is super minimal, they only offer arrangements or bouquets. No stems. Also found it difficult to find strawberries that were not past their prime. The other 2 hy vees in town are much better. Had to go to another hy vee to complete our shopping. Was not ideal. Everything was much better at the Locust st hy vee in town.

I had an issue with my EBT card - the manager was rude at best. He did not take initiative to figure out the problem. Instead, he was judgemental due to the EBT card and dismissed my complaint. I had to call corporate to get the assistance I needed.

The catering staff is superb! They catered my wedding and went above and beyond to work around my schedule and get the food served at the reception. The food was SO good and everyone complimented it. Sheila and Connor made this bride feel at ease!

This HyVee catered my daughters wedding at Steeple Square downtown Dubuque. They did an excellent job and the price was great. We received Caesar salad, roast beef (to die for) Mediterranean chicken, party potatoes, green beans almondine, roll and butter. We had so many compliments on how good ALL of the food was....especially the roast beef and party potatoes! Sheila and Conner were great making sure everything fell into place. I highly recommend this HyVee for catering.

So frustrated with hyvee in general lately. But I guess it's not just mine. Walked into this one at 7:30 PM to do my Easter shopping before I headed to my Territory home from Des Moines. The produce department was cleared out. No whole mushrooms, green onions, pineapples, & the other items were picked through. The shelfs in the aisles were the same & there wasn't a single sole to help. Then there was ONE CHECK OUT LINE with one person, so I bagged $320.00 of my groceries!! Lastly they had problems with their NEW PROGRAMMED registers. Yeah that was smart to do before Easter. Had to run my card FOUR TIMES! FIGURE IT OUT HYVEE!

Came in today for a quick bite to eat and had some really good service. However, while I was talking to the waiter his manager, Michael, interrupted our conversation to yell at him for having his phone charged in the wall. Not once did my waiter look at his phone, but yet Michael thought it was important enough to try and embarrass him in front of his customers. Thankfully the waiter handled the situation well and went on with his business as usual! Just wish Michael would have had some common courtesy around his customers and employees...

Good produce, a nice variety of offerings, pretty good sales. A bit pricey compared to other area stores, so we try to stick to sale items or the store brand (which is typically just as good or better than name brands). The Chinese food is great and a convenient addition to the store.
