Despite all the bad reviews we still tried this pizza. Pizza came out great. The wings were super delicious (garlic parm) our only issue is the wings could have been crispy but for a pizza place they were good enough.

have always enjoyed Marco's Pizza and really look forward to their Meatball Bake. It is a splurge item as each topping costs $1.00, but I do not get it very often. So today I really thought it would be the day to try it again after months. Typically the meal lasts multiple nights. This time, there was not even enough food in the container to cover the entire bottom. The layer was ridiculously thin. I ate it in one sitting and was still hungry. Considering I paid $16.00 plus tax for this, I would have expected way better. It is not something I will risk getting again.

This is the third horrible experience I have had ordering Marco’s. After waiting 35 minutes after my “pick up time” I received an uncut pizza and none of the sauces I had paid for. There were roughly 10 “messed up” orders sitting on the shelf and a very frazzled and rude individual who was running the counter. It’s a shame that our favorite pizza place has gone down hill so much in such a short amount of time. We won’t be returning until they can figure out whatever their problems are.

Can’t believe it took 2 hours to deliver my food normally I pick it up the last time they delivered it it took about the same time and I thought I give them guys a 2nd chance on this delivery time but yet I’m as disappointed as the first time. Whoever is working tonight 1/13 answering the phone needs some more training or to not be the person dealing with customers. I totally hate being a “Karen” but what my husband and I just experienced is unacceptable. Our door dasher called us to notify us that the store is refusing to take our order after they already confirmed it in the app, and will only accept take out orders because there are only two of them there. When I called the store to ask how I can get my money back the guy on the phone was rude telling me “you need to take that up with DoorDash” and hung up on me. And then refused to pick up the phone when I called back… probably using caller ID. So my husband called from his phone and he hung up on him as well.

I've been trying to contact your corporate office for 1 full week regarding a really ridiculous experience at the North Liberty office. We have been very regular customers but after the "general manager" in store was part of the poor service, chances are slim we will return. We also will spread the word. The store is now always dirty, they are slow even when not busy, etc.

I used to love their pizza but I haven’t been able to order because the online is never available and no employees will answer the phone; despite having an open sign on and employees in the store. Really wish I could order again :( I literally sat on hold for 15 minutes during a not busy time and no one ever answered

I stopped going to this place after a employee complained that a coupon I used online wasn't being used right. that's not correct, coupons can only apply to the order when the order meets the requirements so yeah, he was dead wrong and he came off super rude and made me feel like I did something wrong. I'm not sure if he just had bad training or if he was having a bad day and needed to be rude to someone so he could feel better but it wasn't cool. Bad training and rude employees does not make for an enjoyable experience.

Management told us to "shut up" during second inquiry of missing delivery items. ...Told to shut up apparently because of inexperienced staff and the problem was too petty to make right instead of keeping their mouth shut and maybe offering up an alternative suggestion initially in order to preserve future business in these tough times.
This is all a shame because the food is great. More of their loss than ours.

I didn't really care for their pizza but loved their cheesy bread. The first time I went I got excellent Customer service. Tonight however, I was met with rudeness. They wouldn't take my order and they decided to close earlier than the posted hours. I can understand being busy and even closing early but don't be rude. I won't be back.

Marcos has always gone above and beyond to ensure we are satisfied. We had ordered pizza and cheese bread and our order did not come with the additional sauces we had ordered. After calling, the manager offered us a credit or we would get our additional sauces even if he had to deliver them himself. Ten minutes later we had double the sauces we even ordered and a brownie dessert for free delivered to our front step. Quality customer service and amazing pizza. Marcos has never been a disappointment!!

Perfectly fine, you can expect to get exactly what you ordered exactly when they said it will be done, they are convenient & easily located. Nothing special about the pizza but it tasted fine, amount of ingredients seemed a little light & the sauce really didn't have any significant flavor to it but for the price it was alright. Staff was friendly and prompt. Will likely buy from them again.

The Marco’s Pizza in North Liberty is always on time and delicious. Internet only, carry out deals offer the the best price - but ordering off the menu isn’t unreasonable. The location is easily visible and accessible from HWY 965. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Our family are big fans. We strongly recommend you try them out soon. Consider the all meat, it’s one of our favorites. The cheese bread is excellent too.

I originally gave a better rating but was force to drop it significantly. Currently there's a pandemic and we all been dealing with it. 2 of the 4 employees were wearing mask while the other 2 preparing food weren't. Theres currently a mask mandate, Marcos even had signage for ppl to wear mask. Its like people don't understand or even care about the safety of themselves or putting others at risk. I hope the food is fine. I guess the manager doesn't care either if they allow their employees not to wear mask. I wont be returning.

Great experience! Ordered online and went to pick up, manager explained the situation of them making a pizza wrong in my order. They made a new pizza and refunded my money without me even complaining! They were super honest and more than giving, plus the pizza was phenomenal! Definitely made a long time client from a situation that could have gone sour in typical cases. Thank you Marco's!

Since moving back to NL, I was so excited to be next to Marcos pizza again! I quickly realized the price difference since 2016. So much cheaper than before. Although no where near as good. I’m not sure what ingredients have changed, but definitely not as good as I remember :-( But, as always, friendly & helpful staff, very quick delivery.

I normally am very pleased with Marco's but had a negative experience tonight. I went in ordered a sub and a salad and was told it would be 15 minutes. It took 40 minutes! They were knocking out pizzas like crazy and I think my order got missed or ignored because it wasn't a pizza! In addition, my salad was not made like I ordered it! I wish I would had been advised of a realistic time frame to get my food and I could have made a decision to cancel my order. You really disappointed a usually satisfied customer tonight!

First time ever. Got the discount for renting movies. I order breadsticks. Light cheese and garlic . Super dry Breadsticks were not cut all the way through so could not pull apart easily. Dipped in pizza sauce.
By 330 i was having stomach cramps, Horrible gas and then until now. 1125pm. Diarrhea.
Not a good experience. Wont go again

Call in ask if they would deliver down to Coralville. Once I gave the address they said no that they would not deliver to Western Hills in Coralville. No good excuse, just flat out said no. I would of tipped good for going to western hills.

Don't waste your time...Chances are you will not get the deal they advertise and pay more for a lesser quality pizza then any of the other fine Pizza establishments in town. Pizza Plus is the bomb!

The pizzas are good for a chain pizza, we do all the crust toppings. It is hit and miss if you get the packets of cheese and peppers, more often lately the delivery drivers say they are out. I am not a fan waiting an hour for a pizza that is 5 minutes away, so will order if I do not want to cook. Unfortunately their online ordering is hit and miss, the one time I tried it I waited over 2 hours for a sandwich, when I called they said it was ready to go out, so waited another hour and called back and was told it was a pick-up order and by then I just gave up that anyone thought I would want a 3-hour old sandwich. .

On 2/12/2018, I ordered pizza for the first time using the online application. 20 minutes later, I get a call from the manager, "Mo", telling me that due to a glitch with the website, my order was never processed and received by the facility. Since I was on a time crunch, I told him to cancel the order. He told me that my credit card wouldn't be charged, never ONCE apologizing for the mishap. About an hour later, my doorbell rings. It's the delivery man from Marco's pizza with my order. I told him that I had cancelled the order over the phone with his manager. He replied that he had just left the store 5 minutes ago and was never told. After he apologized for the miscommunication and left, I was irritated. I called back to the store to talk to "Mo" and told him that he clearly isn't understanding what was going on since since my order DID get processed and I DID get charged for it. He only replied that it must have come thru when he wasn't in the order area.

Thus, my complaint. For my first time ordering from your company, the experience was very dreadful. Your staff doesn't appear to communicate with one another nor your website work appropriately. Why would I give my business to one that functions like that?

Pizzas are fine but this place plays marketing gimmicks so beware of it and don't fall for stuff you might receive in the mail. They recently sent "VIP Certificate" for a free large pizza which you have to buy another food item with it which is fine. When trying to order pizza listed under deals on their website, they denied using any specials and said I had to pay full price of the item if I wanted to use that certificate and this condition was not listed in that mail I received. So if I used this certificate I received in the mail, I have to pay full price of another item but instead if I just picked one of their online deal with 2 large pizzas, it was coming out to be only $3 more than using this so called "free" large pizza certificate.

If you are making special effort to send mass mail out, either make it clear in the marketing stuff you send or simply honor what you say. Person on the phone would not honor this certificate which is unacceptable. Very misleading marketing and unprofessional business practice, think twice before ordering from here.

So we ordered online a Hawaiin Pizza thinking it was ham and pineapple. It ended up being ham, chicken, bacon and pineapple. They were so great and made a ham and pineapple pizza for us even though it was our error. Most places would not do that and we'd be stuck with a pizza picking off the items we didn't want. Great customer service and food as always! This is my favorite pizza place!

I went to purchase pizza online and to use their 50% Online order that is on Mondays. The website would not allow me to order and when I called the Order in I was told that they do not honor this offer as their location was not open long enough.

This is completely unacceptable. I will never get pizza from this location again. I am so outraged that they wouldn't honor an offer that is clearly posted online. I have never been so disgusted with the way a business conducts themselves before. Especially for a business that just opened up you would think that they would want to get as much business as possible and not drive away patrons. Is the 27.50 extra dollars that you saved by not giving me the discount worth loosing an office full of business for life. I hope so Marcos pizza, I hope so!

Instead of helping out a new local business in North Liberty we ordered from Pappa Johns and got more pizza for less money. Looks like Pappa Johns gets all of our business.

Best pizza ever! Crust is crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Yummy cheese. The toppings are so wonderful. I love chicken on my pizza and at other pizza places, the chicken is bland. At Marco's, the grilled chicken tastes amazing. Also the service is really efficient and friendly. Great value for money for the fresh tasty pizza you get.

We have tried four pizzas from here. You will not find a better pizza in this area! I have never had a chicken BBQ pizza that I liked before trying Marco's. Add the extras to the crust. They do not cost extra and make the pizzas crust better! I hope they stay in the area so we can continue to enjoy their pizzas!
