I stumbled upon this boutique today and immediately fell in Love! We received the best service from Kelly, she’s amazing! She was so helpful and kind. The clothes are so cute, options for every style. 10/10 highly recommend!

Selling broken and unwearable merchandise at a small discount for final sale. Asked the sales associate why there was only a 15% discount on broken merch and she said they receive the merch broken from suppliers and offer a discount to customers. It’s irresponsible to push this onto the customer for almost full price, this issue should be handled with the supplier. Rest of the sale rack was over 50% off except this merch…buyer beware

Disappointing selection of clothes. Very bare. Limited sizings. Felt uncomfortable the entire time. Was told to leave my diaper bag outside of the fitting room to only have the associate hovering on the other side of the curtain. I worked retail and respected my costumers personal space. Never asked them to leave any bags outside of the fitting room.

I would have rated my experience a zero but unfortunately there isn’t that option. I came in looking for a dress for a summer wedding with my husband and infant son. I was offered a dressing room which was great so that I could try on the dress I liked. There was an associate who told me to hand my diaper bag to my “hubs/friend” with the most absolutely the most condescending tone. She stood right in front of my dressing room that made me extremely uncomfortable. Even though I liked the dress and wanted to purchase it—the way my husband and I were made to feel was absolutely despicable. I have shopped at Brightside at my home store in Baltimore and NEVER was made to feel uncomfortable. I do have to give one complement to the woman who greeted us right as we came in was very nice.

Went in to shop with my cousin and was badgered the entire time by the sales associate. I was just looking around, grabbing a shirt or two, and she continued to try to take them from me to put them in a room or at the counter during the entire visit. I tried on a shirt and asked my cousin to help me tighten it in the back. When she proceeded to help me, the sale associate yelled across the store to tell us only one person at a time in the room so we stepped out even thought it was a corset top and quite open. While trying to help me outside the room, the lady continued to tell my cousin how to do it as if she didn't already know. My cousin did not like this treatment and even put back the three articles
of clothing she was ready to purchase. I felt rushed and bombarded the entire time. I have never felt this at any other location I've visited. She also made a snarky comment to another customer who was looking at jewelry while I was checking out telling her what to do and what not to do. I don't know if I would return to this location solely because of this women.

I bought a bright colored dress as a gift. My daughter is petite, and I was worried it wouldn’t fit.
I gave it to her Saturday, and it was a perfect fit! She loved it.

Sydney at Brightside went ABOVE and BEYOND to help me send a surprise gift to my friend. I visited the shop with my friend and she found a sweater she loved...but her young daughter did not have the attention span to let mom shop around, so we left the store. I live in Chicago, so couldn't go back to the store myself and found the sweater in a picture online but was not for sale. Sydney came to the rescue and found the sweater for me and helped me ship it to my friend with a note. I can't say enough about how helpful she was and how happy I am with this experience!!

While I have means but not youth I still appreciate kindness and good service.. The reception I got today was cold and unhelpful. I had to plea for assistance. Spent $339 on October 16th. Bought gifts, clothing for young daughter and myself. I’m a local so I was told I could try a few things (two) on at home and not get any refund but get store credit. I HAD one of two tags only attached a full receipt but sadly NO INTEREST in helping. My fault because I took their word for the exchange and credit. I was told I should have read the fine print on the receipt and I had to take the shirt back home. CUSTOMER service at its worst. I’ll take the time to tell all eleven people that I told it was great. I’ll call them directly and let them know to shop elsewhere. As will I. Regards.

Hostile boutique. Overall weird vibes given by the sales associates here. They will follow you around the entire store ensuring you arent stealing. Its a shame you can not shop in peace without these people hovering around you. Be AWARE you might be followed around at this establishment.

I bought a necklace the other day and loved it! However, when I wanted to take of the tag the clasp fell right of with it. Super poor quality. When I went back into the store to ask for exchange/replacement, the girl told me I couldn t return jewelry. I wasn t trying to return it, it was broken before I could even wear it! Unfortunately the customer service at brightside sucks :)

I bought 2 tops a week ago for 50.00 each and both are falling apart. One never worn and the other worn once. Bad quality clothes for the price tag. Also the girls working there are rude I went in and took clothes to try on and the girl said they had already started the sanitizing process on clothes and I couldn t try on sorry boo but you do that when you close not when you when your still open. SMH

Bought an adorable pair of pants a few weeks ago, about $50.00. Loved them! I followed the associates directions on how to care and wash them. (there was no washing instructions tag). Unfortunately the product shrunk so much that I can t wear them. I called the store to see if they could do an exchange due to the failure of the product. They told me sorry, you washed them and we can t do anything for you. Right, but I followed your directions and the product failed. They were still unwilling to do anything about it. I m just warning anyone else who may purchase their clothes, totally bummed at how unwilling they were to help and they completely dismissed me. Very frustrating as a consumer. Do not recommend.

My little sister came in town I decided to take her shopping as soon as we walk in we felt uncomfortable. We both felt like there was discrimination going on. We were both treated differently than the rest of the people at the store. Will not go back.

I normally dont review stores but since the moment I walked into this store I felt unwelcome. There were two ladies standing behind the counter whom looked up to my friends & I , and continued chatting. No greetings or anything, they stared at us from behind the counter & whispered as we walked in. When other customers walked in, it came to my attention that they were greeted properly. Mind you the store was empty so it was not due to them being busy. I saw giggling & whispering as they stared us down, this store should definitely retrain their employees to learn simple manners & what customer service is really about. Never again stepping foot in this store. Disgusting & uncomfortable experience!!

This shop is a nice store but the ladies who work there are rude. Once you walk in the workers don t even greet you they are rather too busy on their phones and chatting with each other. When asking for a fitting room the workers looked at me head to toe and started laughing at me. Instead of trying the clothes on I had I decided to leave the store. I highly don t recommend going to this shop. Not only is this shop not a welcoming place to go to you leave feeling judged and unhappy. Worst experience.

I stopped in on a Sunday afternoon, and was eager to buy a lot due to weight loss. However I received the worst treatment ever. From the moment I walked into the door, I was watched as a hawk and spoken down by a sales associate. Absolutely disgusting. Visit hippie element nearby for clothes that won t be overpriced and where you will be treated with kindness unlike this snobby employee.

I was in Annapolis for vacation. I stumbled upon this store and WHAT A FIND!! Great styles. Very helpful and friendly staff! Bought a few items as gifts and, of course, a couple of must haves for myself!! Highly recommend!!

Brightside boutique is exactly what Annapolis needed. They have an edgy and unique style. I used to make trips to their Baltimore locations for my clothes. Annapolis lacked the style that brightside offers! They have an outfit for almost every occasion. Not to mention the staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable when it comes to style. If you haven t checked out their Annapolis location, you are missing out!
