I came in briefly looking for a new backpack to replace the one I have had for years that’s wearing out and honestly they had nothing that I felt suited my needs. All of the colors and materials looked ugly in a Defiantly boring kinda way and felt nowhere near as nice as my old pack. It’s sad seeing LL Bean sink so low into the sea of boring when they used to be cool, like a slightly less elaborate Cabella’s/Bass Pro. Now they’re just so Basic.

Whenever I visit REI, I can't help but compare it to LL Bean in terms of the quality of their adventure gear and clothing. LL Bean has consistently impressed me with its selection of high-quality products. Although their dog section is quite small and understocked, I believe they can improve it in the future. The staff at LL Bean is very friendly and accommodating, and they even gave us two $10 off coupons, which was a great bonus. Overall, my experience at LL Bean was very pleasant and charming.

I need petite sizing, something many clothing outlets do not provide. At LL Bean, they not only have a petite section, but you can ask the staff to find you a style in petite if their in-store inventory doesn't have it. Shipping is free to your home if you order online. And you have a year to return the item if it doesn't work out...with or without a receipt if you charged it. It's my new favorite store.

Really sad to have to do this. I've been an LLBean shopper for over 30 years. When I went to put snow boots on for maybe the 5th time since buying them and the upper pulled away from the lower portion of the boot. There were purchased at LLBean and are LLBean brand and they tell me there is nothing they can do because I don't have proof of purchase? I have pictures but can't upload.

Obviously not quite as big as the Tysons location was so I'm missing out on a lot of products trying to shop LL Bean in the DMV area. There selection is good but it's really only viable as a clothing store. Which is fine if they don't mind their business going to REI next door I guess. Employees are amazing though!

I have currently filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau because LL Bean Mastercard has not accepted my power of attorney because they say it does not have my address. All other financial institutions have accepted the Power of Attorney. My personal lawyer has never heard of an address as part of a POA.

LL Bean has taken an auto deposit from my mothers account and accepted payment in full by check for each month since 2022. Their statements do not reflect credit balances and as a result are deceptive. I am sure many people have credit balances and are unaware of them. I have removed the auto withdrawal from the bank account.

LL Bean Mastercard will not discuss the account with me as they will not accept a valid POA. They refused to let me speak to anyone in legal or escalate to a senior executive.

This is totally unacceptable. All I want is a check for the approximate $4700 to be written to my mother and mailed to her address.

Teri was absolutely fantastic during my visit at this location. First off I wear a lot of LLBEAN clothes! I love the fit, colors and they keep me warm in the winter! Right gear for the season is what LLBEAN does well!! I was looking to change up my wardrobe a bit and Teri helped me put a few outfits together and I really appreciated her feedback. The whole store was a very pleasant experience.

The service at this store has always been fantastic. On the visits to my family in Rockville, MD I don't miss a chance to shop here. I prefer seeing and trying on clothes before buying. The Bean-flex flannel lined jeans are incredible especially because of the cold Michigan winters. In the photo I am on the right wearing the jeans for a Canadian fly-in fishing day.

L L Bean like so many businesses is understaffed, but with the same quality of service provided when one does secure help. Their policies make the clerks job and the shoppers job difficult. In the Rockville MD store there are no easily seen signs that inform shopper what is sold on 1st or 2nd floor. I almost left because I saw some of both male and female clothes on the first floor but not what I was looking for, until I saw a women descending the stairs with an item I wanted to purchase. As there were no sales clerks working on the floor, just in cashier area, I asked the woman where to find the item. She told me go upstairs and turn left. right. She told me she bought the last one of what I wanted, something I spotted in the newest catalog I got in the mail two days earlier. Online sales were sold out as well. I started to look at other items. I had to unfold and look for an inside seam or neckline to find out the fabric and size of the item display. Of course I had no choice but to unfold the clothes to find the right size which messed things up and took time. People had to mess it all up to find what they wanted to learn about the item. How about a sticker on the outside of all garments to id the size. There were no signs pointing to male or female clothes which I can understand with the need to use more pronouns than in the past, BUT WHy NOT LABEL AREAS OF THE STORE WITH THE SAME NAMES USED IN THE CATALOG or generic descriptions such as, turtle necks, short sleeve, long sleeve, all cotton, pima cotton, thermo fleece, leggings, sport pants etc tunic length, regular length. ALSO, SEVERAL MIRRORs on the floor so people do not have to wait in line for a fitting room to try on a hat, scarf, or how a pattern looks etc. All the unfolding and refolding done at LL BEAN and LAND'S END is a waste for clerks and shoppers.

I usually shop online for LL Bean clothes, but I do go to this shop occasionally. The staff is friendly, the clothes are well organized and I usually find something on sale too. LL Bean clothes last and I truly like the fact that you can return clothes etc within a year of buying them.

I just received the therapeutic dog bed I ordered. It is nice however I was not able to properly stuff the bolsters. I have small hands but not small enough to do what was needed for this task. I suggest that the price of this bed should cover installation of the bolsters. Great product poorly delivered.

Who doesn't love L.L. Bean!? This store is pretty large and in a great location. I was looking for life vests early this summer and they were the only ones who had anything in stock. The staff are always super friendly and helpful. Your best bet for parking is in the garages. First two hours are free.

They charge postage for returns. I stopped using LLBean several years ago because the quality had become shoddy. I recently used them again and liked the items I ordered a great deal. However I needed to return something that didn’t fit well, and was charged postage. That makes mail ordering difficult.

I came in a couple weeks ago and bought a flannel and a coat that is perfect for our Maryland winters. The employees were kind and the store itself was well organized. My nephew has been trying to take my new flannel for himself, so today I called in to order him one for Christmas. The service over the phone was amazing, Ximena was incredibly patient and so sweet. She helped me pick a flannel and ship it directly to me! I look forward to returning soon!

They closed the one in Columbia and I was sad but this location surely made up for it. I was impressed by the selection and they had two floors. I didn't see an elevator, I am sure they had one...hopefully. On the second floor there were more items for ladies and there were shoes. I only bought. Keychain of the duck boot. I was looking for boots but they didn't have what I was looking for today. The staff was very friendly
