Laundry room is down. Clean showers and plenty of food. It was nice to see someone actually scrubbing the soup wells. Very spacious driver lounge . It needed a sweep and mop. Over all I will return.

My boyfriend and I do mobile auto repair. We came in to use the facilities and didn't really think it thru until he fell in the shower. But I've never heard of public bathrooms not having rubber mats too prevent falling. Upon telling the manager who was escorted by the armed security guard, they told us that it was not protocol. They weren't required to have them. And the security guard told us he should had asked for a handicap bathroom. We then responded he's not handicapped why should we of asked for that. She said it several times until I told her he had just picked up a boat motor that morning so he indeed did not require a handicapped stall to shower. She was extremely rude to us and treated us like we did something wrong. No amenities or any kind were offered. We asked about a heating pack. She didn't offer a free shower or anything. She then went out to a car with a guy and left the family unattended for quite some time. Although she was nice she did nothing and told us to call corporate but would not provide a phone number to assist in any way. A few days later we came in to do laundry and the security guard came at us like it was a problem for us to be there for no reason. Yet we were washing clothes so obviously had a reason to be there as we were in the laundry room. The shower attendant had told us we should have asked for a second towel but I feel as though a towel would had more likely caused a fall then none. The entire bathroom was soaked our clean clothes and all were drenched so it was beyond slippery everywhere and he fell trying to get his things out of the shower. I had to ask for a floor towel as well as there wasn't one in there when we walked in. The second laundry incident I had ran into the shower attended Rebecca while in the ladies room and offered plain conversation. Next thing I know I had someone screaming about me dying my hair while in the bathroom using the toilet. Mind you this was a lady yelling into the bathroom, announcing herself as maintenance from the doorway, like she couldn't come all the way in. This was all completely out of the normal. I know if I fall in a grocery market I'm suing so why is there no wet floor policy regarding a public shower to prevent falls? The response of Ashley the manager the no name security guard who was just rude period, and the shower attendant Rebecca shows the carelessness of your staff in regards to customers. I'm planning to speak with a lawyer soon but I wanted to find out exactly what your store policies say. Please and thank you for your time today. Also your a travel center who basis their money from travelers so to have issues with using your facilities while traveling is pretty annoying since there's not many places to do so. Wawa has been more accommodating than y'all!

Large selection to choose from, great service, very polite staff, also has showers, washers, dryers if your traveling and need those things. There is a Denny's also in the same building. Fair prices, Very clean and maintained restrooms.

Nasty 🤢 Worse that I've seen and that's saying a lot. I have been trucking all over the country and this one had someone else's towels and trash in it. The toilet hadn't even been flushed. The porter had the nerve to walk around like he didn't have anything to do. Corporate will be emailed and they should be ashamed of this location.

I saw some pretty interestingly bad reviews here, but on a good day they are inaccurate.

Overall happy with the location. Any flying J is better than NO FLYING J. PEOPLE NEED TO BE MORE GRATEFUL.

Had the pleasure of talking with two gentlemen today Josh & Joe (Night shift) not just any location with 5 or 6 showers. 15 showers here. 15! Imagine cleaning 15 showers an hour. Nope. That’s why you chose trucking. Be more grateful people.

No showers available but yet the employees has time for extended conversations with customers non related to business and to check and change the food labels on the hot food. I was told by an employee that they haven't had time to clean any showers. I was told it would be 3 to 4 hours before any showers would be clean and ready.

Hear me out on this - I know we have Royal Farms, and it is pretty good for chicken. Flying J/Pilot has THE BEST gas station chicken wings in the area. I even like thier wings over some restuarants. Get in there and grab a couple and tell me I am wrong! They are a little spendy at $2 per wing, but I have never been disappointed.

There is not a federal law stating that you must scan my id if I by cigarettes. However I’m required to prove my age . Presenting my identification for a visual scan is all that is required. Your clerk refused to sell me( a 33 year old man) cigarettes because I would not let her illegally scan my id allowing you to save and sell my information online. I will never return to your stores and I hope you are sued for selling hard working Americans information to private companies

Just after spending $675 on fuel and supplies, a manager named Madeline took a can of freon from me that the maintenance man gave me that was discarded in the parking lot. The can with hose was dirty and dented. She literally asked to see it and proceeded to take it. She even tried to stop my purchase of $175 worth of equipment. I love Pilot and Flying J, but this really tickec me off.

it would be an excellent place, but there is a lack of hygiene, showers are dried with the same towel that the Driver dries himself with, The employee cleans the coffee machine ducts with her bare fingers without gloves to unclog the dust that comes out of the machine. Really have only seen disgusting, disappointing!

This place should HIRE security, as some other truck stops do, (to baby sit) because drives around here are so ignorant not only do they take their 30 minute break at the fuel island (the new norm) they will go inside and take a SHOWER even though there's parking available. The line has gone out to highway 272 more then once. I only stop here if I have no choice. And let us not forget the locals. Where they parked their personal vehicles in a parking spot so when they come back at the end of the day they can park their tractor trailer then go home.

UPDATE: I called pilot corporate headquarters and told them about my issues with his face and I guess it works because now I am back mid July 2023 and I don't see all those cars parked in the trucking spots anymore. The manager is still ignorant with people.

I like this truck stop because the store has any item the traveler or trucker may need when on the road they forgot or broke. Gas prices are reasonable to a bit cheaper at times then the gas stations surrounding Flying J. The store had some very good military t shirts and for those gun lovers some cute saying t shirts. They have a variety of hot and cold food items and several types of coffee for that weary traveler. Denny's is attached to here so you can go and eat in the restaurant or get carry out to take with you if in a hurry or want a bite to eat for later. I believe this one has showers also. Get the customer rewards card for points and even more discounts given to the frequent customer. For a trucker the points accumulate faster than for the occasional traveler but I've accumulated several hundred points on gas and items bought.
Negative aspects are its rare you can get a gas receipt at pumps and going inside n waiting in line behind 6 people most times is annoying when in a hurry to get to work and when you must wait because only people at register at times are people giving food orders. They claim for past 2 yrs the trouble with receipts isn't lack of paper vs a internet type issue, however each time someone is out or comes out to put paper in the pumps you get a receipt, so hmmm, I think it's more laziness than a problem with pumps n receipts. It's a extremely busy place so I don't think it should be that difficult to once a day have someone assigned to paper replacement. They probably save a fortune by not printing out receipts at the pump but when you need receipts for business purposes its extremely inconvenient. Granted you can probably go to phone app n print out your visits for gas.

FlyingJ we drivers go through whole lot than just driving truck and when we stop we like take a little rest shower and keep going 06/28/2023 8:30PM my app was not functioning properly came to the register to look my account and get me a shower a caucasian girl behind counter don’t have name badge told me oh well I can’t look up your account and we’re not doing shower right now I was behind 5 people and when my number came whole time she was busy straightening her hair….shower was working and there was no one else at the register

I went in to buy a soda. I bought the soda. Then I checked out, and I left. I didn't need gas. The place was clean and neat. The employees were friendly and helpful. There was plenty of free parking. I recommend this travel center, the Flying J Travel Center in North East, Maryland.

For those of you who are new to this area, the town name is North East. However, it's neither the farthest north town in Maryland (although it's close), nor is it the farthest east town in Maryland (not even close).

Although the Dennys is closed the Pepperoni pizza was perfect, normally it isn’t at other stops but they got the secret recipe at this one. Restrooms and shower rooms are clean. Cashiers are friendly. I heard one of the cleaning staff talking about how long I’ve been in the shower. I don’t care. Next time I’ll make sure I take longer in the shower. Worst Flying J I've been too. Might have well called themselves a TA, ZERO AND I MEAN ZERO Hot food, NOTHING, no pizza, no sandwiches, no Denny's, absolutely nothing. Yeah it was 4 am but normal Flying J's have something.

The employees look like they hated their jobs and hated being there.

People taking 30 minute breaks on the fuel island. Will not be back. Just terrible

Evidently mgmt at this Flying J allows drivers to leave their autos in truck spaces while they roam the country in their big rig; so they virtually, if not actually, have a reserved parking spot 24/7. After purchasing over $800 in diesel I had to do exhaustive semi-calisthenics to get into one of the rare spots. I'll be taking my bidniz elsewhere.

I was shocked! Employees wash their souls with towels, which they then give to guests. I don't understand how this is possible!? The employee throws towels on the floor and wipes the floor with his feet. A nightmare.! How will the guests wipe their bodies afterwards?

Beware: If your a regular traveler in a normal vehicle do not fuel up here. They pre authorize $151 on your credit or debit card for fuel. Since its a truck stop they pre authorize a high amount. We thought it was fraud cancelled the card and had to call out credit card company to straighten it out.

That's when they told us that all Pilot gas stations do this. Beware!!!!!! Now we have to wait for it to be released.

Super crowded. But worst of all the restrooms were dirty. No toliet paper nor paper towels in the ladies restrooms. The stalls were filthy. I'm glad I carry wipes because that would have been a disaster after finding out there was no toliet paper in my stall.

Conviently located just off I-95 and has an attached Denny's diner for the hungry traveller or commercial driver. Employees are a pirates crew and talk like it too. Snacks are expensive just like any other convenience store.

Gas pumps are always available but driving through the parking lot can be difficult becuase companies like T&A Paving roll up in a convoy and stop to chat in the middle of the lanes. I suppose there's power in numbers so I wait 2-5 minutes till I can get around them.

Trucks are able to park overnight here and have a seperate lot. If you are stopping here after dark be prepared to see some lizards skulking around. Pick one up if you want, but know that they have seen every man on the east coast before you got to em'. Theres a hotel next door for your next adventure with the reptiles.

Stopped to grab something to eat. Have a coupon for a free slice and fountain drink. They are out of both. They only have coupons for items they are out of.

Called this Flying J location prior to arrival to ask if they filled cylinder propane tanks in RVs. The attendant confirmed they did - just don't fill portable propane tanks. When I arrived I was told the propane attendant on hand is only trained to fill portable propane tanks - not cylinder tanks. The attendant trained to fill my tanks would be available at 5pm (it is currently 1pm). She advised I call the Flying J in Elkton to confirm it's attendant was available. She said all Flying J's fill propane. ** I called - see review (hint: no bueño)

This Flying J has pumps specifically for gas powered RVs. The dump station is right next to the pumps. Additionally there is potable water and air available. Process was very easy. When you pay for the dump inside you receive a code to access it.

I hit one star, that will be for cashier that sold me my shower, at least she was nice...ridiculous , I'm assuming was the manager who came to me while I was the only one waiting for a shower to tell me there is no showers , no maintenance man..said I could go get my shower refunded..didn't even apologize ...all she could do was complain..I asked can she just clean one shower , I'm only one waiting...oh no I guess that was to much work for her to do..she told me i could go on in and shower in one showers..that still had dirty towels and not been cleaned at all!!

I have NEVER seen so many four-wheelers parked in truck parking in my life. A subcompact parked in a space for a full-size semi should be towed immediately. I know a lot of Flying Js are not great about enforcing their parking plan but the unchecked abuse at this location is absolutely, staggeringly ridiculous.

After a long day there’s is nothing more refreshing than a hot shower.I saw a couple of people yesterday when I parked come back after walking up with shower gear. I called in to check the lady that answered was rude with no explanation about why it was no showers. Drivers depend on facilities working and polite staff!:( smh

Showers were not clean piss stains on toilet and floor . Goes from hot to cold then scalding hot. Advice: check your plumbing . Need to run off the panhandlers too. This location needs a serious renovation.

Service was good at the flying j. But there are to many people that are not truck drivers hanging out in the truck drivers lounge. Made me feel very uncomfortable.

As a truck driver I cherish a nice hot shower. The shower was cold water, the door I had to push it in as it was jammed against the floor, the door frame itself was rotted out. Not coming back here!

This is a go-to rest stop when I'm traveling up and down 95. One time I accidentally drove off with the gas pump still in my car. They were totally cool about it.

Nice truck stop before scales headed south on 95. Denny’s, blah. Parking is tight. Fills up by 5 but what’s new in the northeast. 5 or so creative spots on the north end of the fuel island.

Went to get gas and tried to sign up for rewards. I down loaded the app prior to my arrival.The app didn't work even after logging in to there wifi. The cashier was very impatient with me. But she did try to help a little. Gas $2.25 a gal for reg.

Cheap gas, large parking lot, clean. Nothing to complain or rave about because it's a gas station, but it was certainly easy to navigate into and out of.

If you walk in without a mask, the employees yell at you across the store to cover your face. But if you yell back at the manager to cover her face,because she's not. she says she's on the phone. And I have to leave the store. I guess her mask is sound proof.

This travel center has a variety of services including washing machine and shower stations. We stopped for food and even though this service area was under staff, the cashier who was also serving the food and refilling the hotdog and hot chocolate station was very attentive, diligent and friendly. Excellent customer service.

Went to Denny’s the place was busy they messed up my order. It’s a place to go for dinner. The flying J has gas which is competitively priced. The store has various convenience items and snacks for truckers and travelers.

As a professional driver pilot is my top pick of stops. I love pizza so I'm kinda picky about it. The pizza here is really good. The crust has a great flavor and isn't to hard to chew. The other hot foods they have a really good also. Variety of hotdogs on the rollers, sandwiches, wings chicken strips ect. They have a wide variety of drinks n snacks and souvenirs. Clothing and stuff for working. Gloves, binders, CBS, and stuff for cooking on the road. Clean showers and restrooms.
