I used to collect comic books as a kid, and I stopped as I got older. I always used to drive by this place on 110 and always wanted to go in and check it out, so one day I did and ordered a subscription, which led to another and another. Now I'm collecting comics again all over. This place has a great staff and a lot of great stuff to look at, from old school to middle school. They buy and sell stuff, so make sure you check them out.

A well organized store with a knowledgeable owner. Lots of items available. However, this store is not customer-friendly with prices. Everything is priced at checkout by the cashier. You will probably not find any "deals" or "hidden treasures" at this store. There is also a $2 comic bin with castoff comics - a far cry from the usual $1 or even 50 cent bin at usual comic stores. I will just shop online, or visit other nearby comic stores that are far better.

Highly recommend this store! Lots of comics and action figures. Full of nostalgia from my childhood. Tony is absolutely amazing. Literally the most knowledgeable person about everything comics! Very patient and helpful. Great to speak with if you’re just getting started in comics and need advice.

Hidden gem of a store. One of the largest, most diverse selections of back issue comics north of Boston/Cambridge - managed to find a variant cover I'd been searching ages for.

Great stock of toy and video game based collectibles.

Well worth the time to visit these guys, and personally can't wait to visit them again.

Been searching for the right store to shop at in New England since I arrived here a year ago. I passed by numerous times but at the wrong times and never got a chance to see how awesome this place is. Out of all the comic shops I’ve been to in NE in a year,this is by far the best. Customer service is top notch. Been in business over 30 years and it’s family owned. Very knowledgeable on all comics past and present. Amazing figure collection displayed hanging from the ceiling which looks super cool. Don’t go anywhere else. This is the spot. You can even have a pre order box set up here so you can have them ordered ahead of time. Trust me,check this place out!!

Very bad customer service,,false price tag..what ever price tag on the book is not the price you pay at counter.. it over price ..the raw book price is compare as a cgc 9.8...so don't wait your time...

My wife and I checked out this shop today and loved the experience. Big collection of comics, lots of old action figures + accessories, and a super friendly staff. One of the best shops I have come across in the area and I look forward to coming back another time.

Awesome Murals and a great collection of comics and toys. They also have Pokemon and magic cards at a very fair price, my boys left quite happy and one of the packs contained a pretty rare card.

My regular comic book store for years now, they are always helpful, friendly, and really know their stuff! Willing to go out of their way to help you track down a book you want and great for a conversation about comic books. Best comic shop I've been to, bar none!

I went to Command D specifically looking for comics. They have a decent selection, but everything is priced at the counter. They also don't let you look through older back issues on your own; you have to tell them what you're looking for and he will find it for you or watch while you flip through books.

The guy working also told me at length how I'll never find certain types of books in dollar bins, etc, when I make those finds regularly at other stores.

This is not a good place to find deals. I was disappointed and won't be going back.

Didn't appreciate being loomed over while I looked at transformers merchandise or being talked down too spent $300 first time dropped $180 my last visit won't be going back and I am a collector for everything transformers didn't feel to appreciated

Please avoid this store. I went to the counter to purchase comics and the person went to his computer. When he returned he stated my $5.00 comics were now $20 and $30. That is poor and lazy retail. NEVER going back

Store had a vast selection of back issues and new comics. One thing to keep in mind here is that all the books are subject to price checking ebay, before sale completion. There is signing stating this but I missed it initially. As long as you are good paying eBay prices you should be good.

Visited Command Comics for the first time. Excellent selection of action figures hanging around the store and in back. Plenty of comics of all types for all tastes. Loved how they packaged specific sets of comics. Two examples of this is how they bundled the whole run of New 52 Superman and Aquaman sets.

The store on first glance looks busy and disorganized but it is "very" organized and follows a logic. Great location, right off a main road and the prices were fair.

The gem of the store is Tony.
He was a fountain of knowledge and interesting insights about comics, the comic industry, and super hero movies. Having just got back into collecting after years, talking with him alone was worth the 30 min drive.

One caveat: I had both my 18 year old son and my 13 year old daughter with me. Shortly after walking into the store, my daughter, who usually loves comic stores, asked if she could go back to the car. When I questioned her she mentioned that there was some art on the walls in the back part of the store depicting women in a manner that made her uncomfortable. She said it was inappropriate and "not comic art". After seeing it, I understood her feelings. I'll let you be the judge.

Beware True Believers! If you’re going through their back issue section and find a title you really want for a price you really like the owner will have the audacity to tell you that he has to look it up online to sell it for what the market is currently at. Absolute trash business motto. One of the only shops I’ve ever been to that has the nerve to pull a move like that. The price You have labeled is the price I pay. Simple as that. If you want to increase it then go through your inventory (not my problem if it takes you a month every time) and reprice your books you hack. Not a smart move to be pulling these stunts with the industry currently walking on a tightrope.

My home away from home. I stop in atleast once a week and know before I go that I'll be in there for over an hour Everytime just chatting with the guys who work there. Their prices are fair, very helpful staff, and definitely a friendly environment. Highly recommended LCS.

I love comic books. Walked into this place and immediately did not feel welcomed. Finally had a chance to chat with the staff and it just wasn't pleasant. I know how values work and what books make sense. Will not pay more than a dollar for a book that was a dollar Marvel "True Believers". Unbelievable and what a rip off. Once I heard that it was time to go.

extremely helpful. went in lost looking for a certain comic and a fellow helped me find what i was looking for and also the story leading up to it. it was awesome. he also had a roll the dice game where you pay a dollar and get a bunch of comics. i got a ton of star wars and some xmen which are my favorite so i felt like a won big

I went to Command D about a month ago and was pleasantly surprised! I went there with my best friend (also a woman), who is way more into comics than I am, and we both felt incredibly comfortable and welcome. There was no weird starring, awkward avoidance, or off-handed comments. The staff was great, very friendly and clearly passionate. They helped us navigate the store's collection and made a lot of great recommendations. I ended up purchasing an anthology about geek girls that I didn't even know existed and was happy I found it!

So, if there are any ladies out there who might be hesitant about going into comic book shops, I'd highly recommend Command D! Great customer service and selection!

Command d got me into comic books and I'm currently collecting batman confidential, next I'm collecting a new series of captain america, and my cousin doesn't even like comics, but he's gonna go with me alot more often. Not to mention George the cashier/ collected, is great with his customers.

Went in with a list of comics that I was looking for, all of them older, harder to find books. Not only were the guys nice, happy to help/provide suggestions, and generally knowledgeable, but the books they didn't have in stock were noted and given to the owner to search for. Yeah it's a little out of the way but the drive is nice (a winding river road, RT110), plus the selection, service, and general vibe of the place can't be beat. Definitely worth checking out.
