Been going since 2016 (if I remember correctly). Food is always good and what I think better than almost all the coffee shops around. Next to Jaime’s restaurant which is unbelievable.

Good Day Cafe catered roasted turkey and gravy for 100 people for a work luncheon event to celebrate Friendsgiving. It was one of the most flavorful, herbaceous, moist and delicious carved turkey breasts and gravy we have ever had. So many compliments from our employees. The turkey and gravy tasted homemade and was the star of our buffet luncheon next to all the dishes our employees made. Easy to order, super catering delivery. Thank you!

Cute spot in a wonderfully preserved historic building. The staff was friendly and the tables were clean. I order a Pumpkin Spice Latte which was pretty good; not overly sweet and could taste the coffee flavor. Temperature was good too. The avocado toast, while it had good presentation, fell short. The sourdough tasted like normal white bread and the avocado wasn’t salted so the dish lacked the savory taste I was going for. It was nice to have it topped with arugula and a balsamic glaze. Our friends got eggs and bacon dishes which were simply prepared and they enjoyed them. I think this place has potential to be a great spot with a few menu tweaks. Will happily return.

We love supporting local businesses, and Good Day Cafe is a great neighborhood spot that's super convenient for us. The overall atmosphere is inviting, which makes it a nice place to relax. However, we had a pretty negative experience during our recent visit, unfortunately due to one of the staff members.

While we were ordering, a male employee was barking orders at the younger female employees, which created an uncomfortable vibe. He kept yelling things like "no cream cheese" and other demands (which yes they need to know so they can alert customers to things they no longer have…but walk the 15 feet over and tell the employee in between customers????). We had to repeat our order twice because the poor cashier seemed flustered from being yelled at. This disruption likely led to us receiving the wrong coffee order twice.

The cafe has an open kitchen concept, so customers can see and hear everything, and the yelling was hard to ignore. If we had walked in during one of his outbursts, we probably would have turned right back around. It wasn’t even that busy to justify such behavior.

All in all, Good Day Cafe has a lot of potential, but this employee’s attitude really detracted from the experience. I’m not sure we will be back, but if we do, I hope he is not there.

The food and drink were great, the place is cute. However our experience was soured by the male employee working in the open kitchen. He was condescending and rude to the younger female employees, both of whom were very polite and friendly. He interrupted us ordering to yell across the room at the girl working the register, and then did the same to someone ordering a few minutes later. I would love to come back, but if I knew he was working, I would avoid it. He gave the cute place such a hostile vibe.

RUDE!!!! Was in the middle of ordering breakfast and I was cut off by another employee asking how to say “heavy” in Spanish! Really!!! Then when I called them out about customer service and being unprofessional the cashier started yelling “bye” at me and telling me to leave. I will follow up with a complaint as well!

The team at Good Day Cafe is friendly and the food is top-notch. It's hard to find healthy options for breakfast and lunch - seems like there are more "greasy spoons" than anything else around here. Good Day has lighter, fresh options and delicious pastries. LOVE

Nope. Ordered game platters and was very disappointed. Food was plentiful but quality was inconsistent. Excellent meaty and tasty wings. Ribs were meaty but not very good, kind of undercooked. Mac & Cheese was bland, varied from soft to crunchy, not very cheesy, and not very tasty. Chicken kabobs were very dry and almost inedible. Teriyaki steak was good but fatty. Shrimp kabobs were OK but bland. And I’m not quite sure how they qualified as kabobs but for the stick. Salad was OK but mostly lettuce. Whoopi Pies were moist and tasty. At $26 a head I expected much better.

The Good Day Cafe is so convenient to so many things in North Andover. I don't know if I always happen to catch them on a bad day (I've been trying to give them the benefit of the doubt for several years now), but we have had a really hard time with their coffee and food! It takes forever to get it (even a bagel with lox), the quality of the food products has gone down (they used to have really great bagels a few years back) and it hasn't had much flavor. We had a party of 5 there the other day because it was in a convenient location, 4 people ordered food, and only one of them finished their food because it was all served cold (4 sandwiches...that they waited 40 minutes for...all cold!) and had little flavor - except for the hot sauce they said! And please, PLEASE, can you get some better coffee?! I feel like there is a big opportunity for this place to increase the quality and service. I wouldn't even mind paying a little more.

Having tried their other sandwiches before, and not liking them; I thought I’d give this place
Another chance as I was running late. So I ordered a $14 caesar salad wrap with chicken. The wrap was filled to the brim with driest chicken with no seasoning; and little bit of old lettuce; maybe a sprinkle of cheese; little to no dressing. It is most simple wrap to make but the chef if you want to call him that, rushed the whole order, and didn’t even care to make it a good and I had to ask for extra dressing on the side. It seemed like a task for him and as if I was offending him for asking. I don’t recommend this place if you want something with actual taste. On a good note; I have to say that the lattes here never disappoint.

They say your first impression is the lasting you have of a new cafe. I was very impressed with the breakfast all day, the sandwiches selection, the salads, and of course the bakery and vast array of coffee and tea selections. Service was prompt and friendly for a busy Saturday morning 10AM.. What a hidden gem in N. Andover. Will definitely share my experience with friends, family and colleagues...This morning I enjoyed a hot coffee and the Raspberry crumble..

Keep it local - go here! So much better than any of those national chains. Unlike those other guys, your food is made to order here, not opened from a bag and microwaved.

Lively environment, and you’re also more likely to find a seat to sit at (good luck finding a seat at Cafe N**o over in Andover).

One of the best bagel places around North Massachusetts. Our first visit, looked more like a popular place in locals. We had one cuppaccino, one regular brewed coffee, and roasted garlic and plain bagels each, with generously topped with cream cheese. A bakery cum cafe packed with a huge variety of baked goods, good coffee, and yum-looking breakfast sandwiches (did not taste any as none of them was vegetarian-friendly.)
There is an old wool mill museum in the same complex.

Pandemic update: Good Day is open for take-out, you can order online in advance and pick what time you want to grab your items. We got a sweet bites platter and some muffins to celebrate our anniversary in May, and everything was very well set up - we went in and there were clearly marked spots to stand in line, hardly any people, very safe and clean. Looking forward to when we can dine in again, but until then everything is still reasonably priced and delicious! :)

Original review:
This place is the best for miles around - amazing atmosphere, cool location, great selection, great service, and everything I've had there is tasty. Also, I am really confused by the people saying this place is pricey. It's not. It's the most reasonably priced cafe I've been to outside of maybe a Dunkin Donuts. Maybe I am buying different things from other people? A whole bunch of their sweets / pastries are under $2. I usually buy a pot of tea, a cappuccino, a pastry and a breakfast sandwich. At Starbucks that runs me about $20. At Good Day, it's $15, and that's including a generous tip.

Delicious coffee and breakfast items/pastries. The quiche and stuffed croissants are especially tasty, definitely save for a treat or special occasion. The scones are a bit dry and crumbly but that is how they should be, in my opinion. Perfect for slathering butter or jam on.

The only thing that hasn't wowed me is the lunch sandwiches. I tried the Thanksgiving sandwich and it was served cold, bread not toasted, and dry.

Line can get long and any food that requires heating can take a few minutes. You can order ahead online though, an awesome feature for take out!
