And they didn't charge me .10 for their brown paper bags , which really used to aggravate me, haha... of course the bags usually rip or tear by the time you get them to your car.

Every time I have to deal with a manager at this stop & shop for assistance I have the worst experience. I don't know why they are so rude and mannerless but they really just make me want to take the drive to market basket, save my money and be treated like a human being. I'm just going here to get some simple groceries I don't expect to leave here feeling so disrespected for no reason, I wasn't even going to write the review but this is just happened way too many times.

I went to this store today at 11:30 and the produce, tomatoes were rotten, there were barely any fresh strawberries or peppers, and the stock was bare! The bakery had few options for bread! Expensive so don’t waste your time with this store. Management really needs to take time to make over this store to ensure the freshest of produce, fruits, bakery goods and meats!
I kept giving this store the benefit of the doubt because I liked being familiar with the layout but there have been too many red flags over time…

It lost a star due to there not being enough of a warning that you had to sign up for their rewards program to get the price that was listed for the water I bought, why can't we just shop and get the best price already, it's not like you pay to be a member. Other than that it was a clean store with great looking produce and meats/fish.

Terrible ... misleading ads: you would need an attorney to understand the shrimp ad lol ... prices not listed in flyers ... poorly marked in stores ... despite employees virtually everywhere, only 1 working the register ... and frankly, better deals elsewhere. No wonder the place is empty. After 30 years of shopping here, I'm out. (except for the loss leaders lol) And the Manager? Literally told me he didnt care-only there for the paycheck!

First of all, the picture displayed is fake because this store is old inside and out! The floor tiles are coming up from the floor in some spots and it's ugly tile too! The store looks dingy and a place stuck in the 90s inside.
Sometimes it's stocked good but most times the shelves are empty on fresh produce (which has limited selection).
A few times I needed milk and there was none! None!
The fish section stinks like bleach and old fish.
It's expensive and over the years you would think they could afford a little update inside!!
There is an older guy in there stocking stuff and I hate to say this but if I can smell body odor from halfway down the aisle in a food store!!!! That's not good!!! Managers should not have fear telling their employees that work around food, to come to work clean.
At night it's pot luck to park and be able to go out the same door you came in. You might have to walk a way to your car or maybe not.
The recycling machines are always full, broke and filthy dirty.
The one thing I'll hand it to them is they fixed the shortage of real cashier's. There is always two live people ( or at least lately)
If they don't upgrade inside then reduce your high prices!

Do not buy produce from this Stop and Shop! Its very difficult to find produce that isnt rotting and/or moldy. Even when something looks good you cut into it to find rot. Bought 6 mangoes tonight. Cut into 3 of them. They were all rotting!! This place is going to kill somebody! They really need to have better quality control in the produce department. Its disgusting.

Stop & Shop needs to treat all customers the same. This is a very racist store. They discriminate again certain customers. They also dont respect the customers that use other means to pay for their groceries. They are treated very rudely by cashiers, packers and managers. They use this same misguided approach towards customers that apply for jobs at Stop & Shop. Its not a professional environment and company.

Sarah the manager doesn t know with one penni what customers service means. She told me i am the manger nice try When i was talking to the one under her management who honored it for me . By the way it was 1$ discount, not even talking about her she came up to me and said if you wanna say something talk to me i have been in customer service for years and never seen a horrible person like her, i am a loyal customer to stop and shop for more than 10 years. For the second day in a row, my brother went to ask for something on your website ( i got evidence ) to be discounted from 2.49$ to 1.99$. First she said that this needed to be added one hour before, she actually saw that i added it the night before on my phone. She said well, it s not the right store or whatever, i am not doing it for you . She clearly won t do it anyway.When another store manager came to do it for us she looked at him and he said sorry I can t.the other manager was in a red face and couldn t do anything to her. I am calling the corporate on her. She is a horrible human being. Choose your employee wisely or you will lose a lot. I have never seen in my life someone like this.

The store in N. Attleboro is one of the better managed ones. They keep it clean & youre able to find most everything needed. Most of the employees are courteous & helpful ( two of whom ive known for years). Theyre good for both a quick grab & go a.w.a. shopping for a weeks grocery. Theyre my choice on E. Washington St. :)

I am amazed that Stop & Shop is still in business! Is just not an inviting store. The entrance on the right side is full of clutter (product). Produce is just ok the the meat department with meat for leprechauns, because of the green color on a few of the beef pacages. Chicken with inflated packages because they are bad! Stop & Shop is just a necessary evil because it is convenient, PERIOD!

Not a good Stop n Shop. Fist you pay more because the location, and that would be fine if the business reflects the price. It doesnt; This store is not well maintained. The automatic doors are regularly broken or open extremely slow. At one point the robot that tells employees to clean was broken. Someone dropped a cucumber in the floral area. It was there for more then a week. The self checkout bagging area on most machines seem to be out of calibration. They constantly request you remove unexpected items that dont exist, or to place the item in the area after you have. Make what should be a simple transaction longer, and more complex. Having to constantly wait for the employee who is likely dealing with another machine. Then there is their inventory. They are out of stock on items constantly. Items available at the Wrentham Shop n Shop just down rt 1, so it not like they cant get them. The only saving grace giving them 2 and not 1 star is some of the employees are very nice, and work hard.

There is a worker there who is always mean and makes very rude comments to women and kids. He is 5ft 9 balding red hair red facial hair saw him make rude comments before . Just now he did it to a woman with a baby and she didnt let it go good for her. Told her line was closed and she clearly didnt hear him and he says yeah or just ignore me and dont listen.He works mainly at self checkout happy she stood up for herself. No need to talk or treat people that way he is going to get someone who wont take their wife being disrespected and it will end badly.

I always shop here because its so close to my house. Actually Im right between here and Shaws. Its quite expensive, but the quality of fresh foods is so much better. I used to study the circulars and shop both to save money but I stopped going to Shaws all together. Stop and Shop has better produce, far better deli, is cleaner and I find the layout easier to navigate. I use the app to get digital coupons, make a list to follow and find special deals but it needs a lot of work. Slow, crashes a lot etc. I have to start my list a week ahead of time.(Really) But paper lists dont work for me and I like to know how much its all going to cost. I do wish I had a Market Basket closer to me though.

The sign at the door asks everyone to wear a mask and socially distance for safety. Most customers were wearing masks. But I counted 15 employees and only TWO were wearing a mask. Not sure why Stop & Shop doesnt follow its own guidelines.

Thank you to the two associates today who were patient with me while my toddler threw a temper tantrum over cupcakes as I explained why I needed to buy orange marigolds for dia de los muertos. I was expressing my frustration with the quality of available marigolds in the color I needed for the holiday. They made the situation right and that is all I needed so thank you.
