From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly, which set a great tone for the visit. The food was good, though I did feel like the portion size was smaller compared to what I’ve had in the past. That said, times have changed, so it’s understandable. The beer was also really good, and overall, I enjoyed my experience.

As usual the food was Great. I had steak tips with chicken tenders. The steak was cooked to my liking and the chicken tenders were absolutely Awesome. Dylan was our waitress and she did an amazing job. Very pleased and my go to place when I go out with my son.❤️👍🏻👍🏻🐐

Our family dines at The 99 relatively often. It's one of the rare restaurants that (a) has gluten-free offerings, and (b) the whole family likes. Trust me, that's a rarefied list. The food is tasty. Service is friendly. Atmosphere is pretty good, especially if you like sports. If you don't like sports, there are a few seats which don't have a TV in your line of sight. The TVs are always on and always playing sports. The TVs are on mute, however. The predominant sound is music, which varies wildly in type from visit to visit. The music is louder than crowd noise. Depending on when you arrive, there may be a wait to be seated. The longest we've ever waited for a table is about 45 minutes. There is call-ahead seating as an option but not reservations. They have To Go offerings.

Do not order the baked haddock. It's on the menu as baked haddock, but it was obviously scrod. There is a big difference even though both "white fish". Our server was great, asked how our food was, but my mom and I who ordered the "baked haddock", told him it was not haddock. He was very nice! Told us he'd talk to the manager even though we told him it wasn't necessary. But he did, and the manager came to talk to us. He told us he checked and it was haddock. I told him the package he looked at was obviously wrong; he didn't care and did nothing to make things right. Our server then apologized for managers reaction . Our server was great, the manager and the haddock were bad. We didn't expect free food, all we wanted was for manager to apologize and say he'd check into it further with their supplier. Bad management!

Saw the banner and went inside for a lobster roll. Contrary to the banner outside I did not find the lobster roll to be colossal in any manner. Lobster was very spongy and tasted like salt water.. very little lobster taste. It wasn't bad but it was not what I expected for $28. My waitress was outstanding.. very attentive but not annoyingly so. I think her name was Trisha or Tracy

Went there last Sunday to celebrate me leaving a horrible job! Our waitress was amazing I forget her name. But my boyfriend got ribs special they were amazing n well priced! We always come to 99 and leave satisfied, but this time, me my mom and my brother got the worst experience ever today! We ordered 2 fajitas and one buffalo chicken. The two fajitas came very cold and the salad that comes with them is anything but fresh! When I asked the waitress about them, she said she s gonna replace them, but instead she made them rapidly reheated in the microwave, so now they taste even worse, and now we just arrived home and mom started feeling nauseous! This is the last time I consider 99 restaurants, done!

I had just gotten off a 4 hour flight and decided to take my parents out to 99. We hadn t been in almost 6 years. Long story short, as we were waiting for our food to be brought out to us I made a joke that had some profanity to it, I guess the waitress overheard and assumed it was about her (it was not even remotely). She then brings my food makes a snide remark and rolls her eyes to me then drops my food infront of me on the table and quickly walks away. I got up and walked up to her angrily why she did that. She then acts as if she didn t do anything wrong so I then get even more upset and start swearing. I asked her to bring a manager over. Marcus the manager comes by asks what happened, I then explained and he responded with well you shouldn t be swearing which completely I understand but he doesn t even bring up what caused this whole interaction to happen. He doesn t apologize or try to make things right and then as we walked out of the restaurant he decides to stare me and my family down as if we had done something wrong. Very disappointed in what the 99 restaurants are choosing to run their locations.

I talked to manager Richard over the phone during the week he was very nice and energetic in a good welcoming way. Took my reservation for 30 people but ended up being 20 of us. Richard was great with setting us up in a section. The service was excellent awesome and amazing. We had Dillion who was awesome working alone taking care of this large party we had. Hopefully, Dillon gets noticed about this cause was an awesome night and even helped take a few group photos of us on our guys night out.

Asked for medium steak tips, some were burnt on outside and raw inside. The broccoli wasnt cooked at all and cold. Just bla. 99 used to be so great. Now its just a bla tired restaurant.

My boyfriend and I stopped in for dinner last night and wanted to give a shout out to our server! I believe his name was Jake and he was the best server we have had in awhile! He was polite, positive, attentive, and just overall a super friendly person! We really enjoyed having him. These days we dont experience that often when dining out so wanted to make it known! Was served undercooked salmon and when I complained server did nothing. It was dark and not flaky in the middle. I didnt want to risk eating raw fish. Server didnt come back to refill popcorn or drinks. We normally like the 99 but we were very uncomfortable the entire time.

wait server, adorable young woman; cant recall her name, totally service oriented,bubbly, full of personality. My lobster topped haddock was over cooked and though there was 1 chunk of lobster it was without flavor. Salad , excellent as was the dressing. In a restaurant including top of the ranks, it is difficult to not overbake fish. Next time I would specify - knowing that our server would pass that on to the kitchen staff..

Just want to mention that this review is just based on my last visit and not a review of the restaurant as a whole. Our last visit wasnt the best, but it was mostly due to the extremely long wait (for food, for drinks and to pay) and also some moments of just having to repeat some requests, especially for something as simple as water. Overall, the food and drinks were good, but the service was sub-par. As always, the 99 is always a decent place for a meal. Ill give it a 6.5/10.

Thought we might have a good time on our first ever visit till they brought an overcooked dry steak. My husband ordered medium rare they brought well done. I ordered well done but got overcooked and dry. Won t be back. Waitress said there was nothing that could be done and went and brought salad with dried out cheese. We won t be back. Its a quiet atmosphere. I recommend it for a first date or something one on one but its not really the type of place to bring everyone. Unless its an event. Make sure to reserve if its 5 or more people. I got the steak tips medium rare. It was about 10/10 perfect for every little bite of it and it comes on a large plate with a medium portion could feed 3 6 year olds or 1 adult. And its about $15 for a good meal. Parking: Theres a big parking lot but lots of cars as well 5/10

We were in town from Baltimore and looking for a local restaurant. We happened across 99. The atmosphere was great. The food was wonderful! (I started with a bowl of seafood chowder: yummmm! We both got a seafood entree, and again, yummy. )And the employees were great! The restaurant starts you off with a complimentary bowl of popcorn that is made in-house. Yes, popcorn. It was delicious. So much so that I jokingly asked if I could buy a bag. Our waitress said,Yes, would you like some? I love popcorn, so said, yes, please!. They popped me VERY large bag at no cost. We munched on popcorn our entire drive home to Baltimore and still had some for days. We wish we lived closer as 99 would become a regular dining spot for us. Highly recommend!
