We drove an hour today with Traffic to go pick up a pre-order for Nintendo switch a young lady. They told us they were delayed that we do not call people to tell them that which I called corporate. Corporate said they’re supposed to tell you when the game is delayed or when it’s there so that’s why I’m giving them one star because they don’t like to tell you the game is delayed so people driving up there for nothing to get a game. That’s not there which I don’t think that’s right. I was told by a different game. Stop too. That is supposed to call you so they guess they don’t wanna do their job.

No place to leave a company review so I will leave it here.
I ordered 10 items from GameStop. 6 items arrived in a few days. The last 4 items did not arrive until 4 weeks later.
8 out of 10 of the items were badly damaged. Shipping boxes were not damaged at all so items were damaged before they were shipped.
GameStop refuses to give a refund on the damaged items. Said it was past the 30 days when I ordered them. Well it took them over 30 days to get all the items to me. Never order anything online from GameStop.

The guy that is there all the time now is the literal worst. Every time I go in, he’s rude and condescending. Today I went in looking for a game for my kid. My husband wanted me to get a new copy, not a used one. The guy told me all they had was used. I said no thanks and left. My husband asked me to go see if they would order it for me. I went back in and the guy goes “you gonna buy it?” And I asked if he could order a new one for me. He said maybe and went back to the computer and miraculously found a “new” one in store. Told me it was “gutted” so not in the case or sealed. I called my husband to tell him, he said no and I told the guy we would pass. The guy was literally trying to peel the “pre owned” sticker off the case when I told him politely that we would pass on it and apologized. The guy didn’t say anything but he rolled his eyes and threw the case on the counter.
I’d rather drive out of my way to go to Mansfield then go back to the NA store.

Black friday... Phone keeps on ringing and no one is answering it. 5 employees and only 2 are on the registers... They have a lot of titles out of stock already and won't keep customers up to date on what's going on... Definitely go online! Worst experience ive had in this store.

Unnecessary and rude to laugh and try and make a customer feel embarrassed. Not to mention she was wearing sunglasses which I don’t even think is proper uniform. I guess the north Attleboro location is too “boujie” even though on the website it says that they do buy phones with cracks…. Bad customer service all around. This isn’t the first time I’ve experienced attitude from the workers there and it’s always a middle aged white woman who clearly doesn’t even know anything about games.. seems like she was so nice when she was helping the man because she’s trying to find a husband or something since she did mention she’s “single”

The lack of professionalism is laughable its so bad! 1) Update your website. 2) when you clearly see someone waiting outside alone in the cold, common sense would be find out why. 3) do not ever laugh at a customer and dismiss them. Its your staff that misinformed your long time customer of over 10 yrs of the hours of the new game presale and then you giggle when that customer is turned away...Seriously after standingin the cold for 45min?!

I went in on Christmas Eve because I had been dealing with the 800 customer service number for about a month regarding a gift card replacement. After many hours on hold/spent on the phone with customer service, multiple failed follow throughs, they informed me that I would be able to go into a physical store and get a replacement. I contacted the Woonsocket, RI store which was one of the closest to me, and was told that once I came in I would need to call customer service at the store and have them speak with an associate. I explained to him that would not be possible since I was on hold the night before and that morning for over an hour before getting a person on the phone. He informed me that I would need an email from customer service with the new gift card number they issued so that he could use that to issue me a physical card. I asked the customer service rep to send me the email the associate said I needed with the gc number and she stated they didn t need the number they just needed the ticket number and they would be able to view everything on their end. I figured this would involve another call and I decided to put my frustration aside and run some errands before tackling this again. I was near the Attleboro, MA store and decided to go in a see if they could help me. Johnny K jumped right into action and told me they had a direct number to customer service which would be a much shorter wait than the public number. Customer service tried telling him they were emailing me an electronic gc (even though they had been telling me this since November). Johnny advocated for me and made sure that he was able to help me there and then. I greatly appreciate the effort that was made to go above and beyond to help me!

Johny and Magen the manger so they said apparently there is more mangers then employees at this place maybe that s why this place do businesses the way they do. Bought a game there the guy checked the game before he gave it to me then I got home 20 minutes drive by the way and found out the guy gave me the right cover with the wrong game Called them talked with Magen that literally didn t care to much and didn t want to give the manger Johny I asked the her to tell him to call me and they didn t called after a couple of days she said he s too busy lol 5 manger s in a store in no where and he s soooo busy so unprofessional they didn t want to take responsibility at all!!!! And then they re surprised when location are keep getting closed. Get better employees and definitely better manger. In this case it s definitely the head of the snake. Do not go there !!!

Beyond rude employee today. She had such a nasty attitude with me. I asked her if an item was on sale (it was 27.99) online so I figured it would be same in store. Said I could price match for you but was so rude. Her voice sounded so dry, looked like I was ruining her day by just existing in the store. I guess the items price had gone up to $39.99, which I understand but I did not want this item now. She told me you know it used to be like 65$ right? like again I was polite and I understood completely, and I had told her twice sorry no thanks I am no longer interested bc its not the same price but she rolled her eyes and said so, you arent getting it? and takes it from my hands and puts it behind her. So disrespectful. Unbelievably rude. Happened today 8/9/22 @ 615ish. I wont be back and will spend my money elsewhere like fye or Newbury comics.

Went to trade in my brand new coral switch lite, it states the trade in price is $79 my charger had some damage so they didn t want to give the full trade in value which makes sense but a brand new charger in store costs $17. So tell me why the dumb female cashier with the blue hair behind the counter wanted to give me a $30 credit for the entire system. Last I checked $79-17 = $62 Pretty sad that employees either can t do basic math or try to rip you off. Nice try, pretty sure we won t be going to this store anymore. Employees are dishonest, and try to do things for their own personal gain.

They sell new games/consoles that have actually been opened by the staff. The employee says they still have a new copy available, and then return with the aforementioned store stock . Its obvious that the product (in this case Splatoon 2) had been opened because there was no cellophane. I asked the employee whats the deal? They say they need to open one for the store, to display the box, and they consider it new. Like why did you not mention that at all? At the very least, say to your customers that it was opened by the store staff etc., and ask if they are still interested.

Very pleasant experience. I dont normally visit Game Stop since I dont play video games very often. The female employee working that day was very nice and gave me way more for my 5 switch games as a trade in than I expected. I was then able to preorder an item and purchase a game--for Christmas. I would definitely rate this store 2 thumbs up!

They leave empty boxes on shelves thats display it looks like in stock items but its not. Return policy requires me to have an email? Like the receipt isnt enough? And in the passed for pre-orders and codes they just refuse to print the codes out on receipt. The staff is fine, but the practice is just unpleasant. N. Attleboro location is always a bad experience. Mansfield crossing is so much better

Made a hold request for a used game online. Got a confirmation email and everything that the game was in the store and they were holding it for me. Showed up 4 hours after the confirmation, stood in line for a half hour, and was told that they did not in fact have the game in store and they had confirmed that it was in-store without even looking at it, and joked about firing him tomorrow. Completely unprofessional and a complete waste of time. If youre requesting a hold online, call in and make sure they have the game in their hands before you waste your time.

Used the app to reserve a game, when I got there they had the best pre-used version set aside for me at a great deal. Sometimes the trade in amounts the app gives varies from what they offer you in store, but I show them the price the app quoted and they honor it every time so long as I go before the offered amount expires.
