Fantastic diner with great coffee and even better food! They were very accommodating to our large party of 8 people and the food was delicious and was brought to us very soon after ordering. All in all this is a great diner with fair prices! Can't really go wrong stopping here.

I was recommended their fresh squeezed orange juice and once ordered, you can see the owner placing oranges into the juicer to make it fresh for each customers order(very nice touch). It was a bit hot in there and I knew ahead of time based on other reviews, but it was bearable. The day I went it was 85+ degrees outside, I cooled down the longer we sat in there. Family oriented and a very cute spot to have breakfast.

Fantastic local spot with excellent service and food! My server was back and forth to the table often. Value of the breakfast was wonderful. The pancakes were some of the best I had in a while because they were more like griddle cakes. Convenient parking right across the street and the family that runs the restaurant was so friendly and delightful. But certainly be a place I would become a regular if I lived in the area.

Try Sunset breakfast for your next breakfast. Very cozy and clean restaurant with excellent service! Breakfast sandwiches, omelettes, and breakfast combos run from about $6.99 to $16.99. I had the Pancake combo, with buttered raisin bread, my wife had the Poached Ham and Eggs. The coffee, my wife and I thought, was very good. Not too bitter, not too strong, just about right. The food was plated well, looked delicious, and was! All great.

Very good place! Will definitely be back. We had a breakfast as a family with kids there. The waiting stuff was very efficient. The food was great. The fresh squeezed OJ is awesome there! We sat outside and felt like we were in a quaint place. Definitely better than any standard diner.

Ahhh the search for really good breakfast never really ends. This spot gets it spot on. It’s family owned and run & here you’ll get taste, quality and quantity. Everything I’ve tried (eggs, pancakes, French toast, home fries, bacon, ham & sausage) has been very, very tasty. They also have fresh squeezed orange juice. I leave full & totally satisfied. I drive here from Boston because it’s worth it.

Worked a 12 hour overnight shift and I was craving bomb breakfast food. A colleague recommended this place. It did not disappoint. Potatoes were cooked perfectly, the eggs Benedict was delicious, best French toast I’ve ever had, fresh squeezed orange juice, and rich strong coffee. Im definitely coming back, if you want breakfast food that hits the spot, this is the place. 11/10 highly recommend. I will absolutely be back.

Perfect little breakfast spot! Dined here on a Saturday morning. It was not crowded, menu is varied, service is friendly and perfect, kitchen is incredibly quick, and food was delicious. Breakfast sandwich with kielbasa was delicious! This was perfect for our family of four; the kiddos didn’t have a chance to be bored! We definitely plan to return.

A hidden gem. It's been a while since I was in a breakfast spot that excites me to come back. This place is not local to me but I would drive the 80 minutes because it's that GOOD! Had a breakfast with my family on Sunday here.Very welcoming host (owner) and very good first impression. But it seems like we got in a rush time when staff was not prepared. We waited for coffee and napkins so long we only got it when finished breakfast. Server came back after we finished and we waited again just to pay the bill.
The food wasn’t great, eggs Benedict doesn’t look attractive and doesn’t taste good. Omelette was blend with no taste. Would love to try pancakes but everything was such a long wait.

Food came quick, but wasn’t very tasty. managed to finish after a while. Eggs Benedict had a strange sour taste to it, and wasn’t salty at all. the English muffin was burnt. Home fries were a mixed bag, and some were decent, others had a weird taste. Watermelon slice was the only truly good part.

OJ was good, but I wouldn’t have ordered if I’d known it was 4.99 (price was not displayed and I assumed it was maybe $3). I wouldn’t pay $5 for OJ even if mayor Wu or Obama personally hand squeezed it… not sure how all the people in the reviews have such tolerance for it

Price was just shy of $20 after tip. Will not be back and would suggest going elsewhere.

I tried this restaurant for the first time today. I got 3 eggs over medium, sausage, home fries, 1 blueberry pancake, and fresh squeezed orange juice. Everything was cooked perfectly and seasoned just right!! I’ve never had fresh squeezed OJ, it was delicious!! Come here as soon as you can!

This place has average diner fare. I had something small, a spinach egg white and cheese on an English muffin. The real reason to visit this place isn't the food, but the fresh squeezed orange juice. It is A-MAZING! It's what keeps me coming back.

This diner is definitely a family run business. The wife is in the back cooking, while the husband is the server, who is by the way very nice, considerate, and charming. He made me, and my family feel very welcomed, and the food was amazing. I had the banana pecan pancakes, and they were so delicious. I normally don't eat all my food but I finished that plate... Would definitely go back for sure....

New review; I stopped in for a breakfast, and both myself and co-worker ordered two eggs with toast and sausage from the menu, when asked why we received home fries "they come with all egg orders" the bill ended up being almost double what the menu stated. The food was very good, but the owner/operator is desperate. The place was clean and the menu prices were average.... but we were definitely over charged... especially when neither of us ordered home fries.

Edmond is the consummate host. Our veteran's group meets there regularly and he always remembers our orders. With fast service, home cooked meals and special attention aplenty, you can't do better than the Sunrise.

Truly one of the best breakfasts you can get - my partner and I have been impressed each time we come. This was one of the best experiences my family has had with a breakfast restaurant! The coffee was delicious, and the fresh squeezed orange juice was extremely fresh! Everything here was homemade and delicious, and it appeared the man working was the only employee working this day and he did a fantastic job. Right across from Saint Catherine, this place is a must visit.
Ed is the owner and he moves around like he is in his 20's.
Very clean, it is a small business which I wish there were more.
Everything on the menu is very good. He has a machine to make orange juice.
Easy parking.
The only suggestion I would make is that the coffee could be hotter and better.

I used to go for breakfast on the weekends at a cafe in Newton and after they closed the place I had not found a place like where I used to go and I went to several places and never found anything similar until this week when I went to Sunrise Breakfast here in Norwood. I never thought to find something similar to the other place but now I found something better and close to my house. the service is sensational as AL the owner is super efficient, friendly and make you feel at home. The food is wonderful, tasty and great portions. Cappuccino one of the best I ever tried, even my son mentioned it.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Alma was a sweetheart and served me very kindly. Coffee was filled most times. Staff were efficient and I got my food very quick

The food was fairly standard. Home fries were a bit overcooked and could use some seasoning and bacon was a little flimsy. Besides that, everything else was good

Ambiance is quant and charming. It was very much a locally owned restaurant with a little single person bar in the back and a stainless steel ceiling which you don't see very often. You can almost imagine this spot back in the day.

One thing I wish I got was the fresh squeezed orange juice! They had the machine going with the oranges and it looked very good

I can't say enough good things about this place. First of all the owner is fantastic. He greats you as you arrive and is very attentive. The first thing I noticed on the menu is that the prices were lower than most places like it in the area. This led my expectations to be lower than they should have. The food comes out quickly and is delicious. Definitely try the steak and eggs.
