I am a downtown edible vendor and Capital One Cafe is the place to be for business people. The atmosphere there is so pleasant. The bakery items are prepackaged but the coffee is fresh and the staff is very nice. Great place to relax and play a couple games on a date or with a coworker. I recommend their seasonal drinks!

What an awesome place! We went today and Eber was very warm and welcoming. The vibe here is amazing. Timothy is the best barista!! If you work nearby, this is the perfect coffee break spot. We enjoyed the $1 hand crafted beverage on Friday-Saturday in August. They were completely out of all non dairy milk which was a total bummer, but everything else made up for it. The brown sugar jelly option in the drinks reminds me of boba. The restrooms are clean and the meeting space upstairs is wonderful. There are ample plugs and room to stretch out. This is a much better chill/working space than the coffee shop down the street. The easy going nature of the bankers also made me more comfortable asking questions about the capital one card that I've had for years and never really utilized. I would totally recommend going and I will return soon.

What a great little coffee shop! You don’t have to bank at Capital One to go there. If you use your Capital One card to pay, it’s half-off. I got a ginger cinnamon breve (just ask and they can switch up the latte), and it was excellent. I don’t usually like flavored coffees but this one hit the spot on a chilly day. Both staff members were friendly and welcoming. I commented that there should have been more people, but it was close to lunchtime and nice not to wait in a long line. I didn’t try any of the sweet treats in the case, but they looked delicious and they had a ginormous cinnamon bun.

Great cafe to get work done- it's not too noisy which I like. The food isn't great for the price, but the coffee is amazing and tasty. Plus the coffee is 50% off for Capital One card holders. The coffee shop is really clean and the workers are really attentive and kind. Security is also great. Highly recommend.

Cannot say enough good stuff abt the 2 baristas here and everything all in all is literally perfect. I ordered a vanilla iced latte and a matcha today and each is btr than the other and the barista made em perfect n balanced to my liking, they were so kind and considerate and that is appreciated.

The 90s MTV tampon commercial music is an energy suck especially because Detroit is a music city. Play some Motown. Play some hometown artists. Honestly, even binaural beats or solfeggio tones would be better.
The coffee is delish. Came back for more. The staff is cool. It’s just the music that is off brand.

So good! They even use verve craft, roasted coffee. Way better than when they used Pete’s. The employees were super friendly and it’s very cute inside. And, best of all, if you use your Capital One card all the drinks are half off. I got six specialty drinks for $16. You certainly can’t beat that. Thank you very much. All their syrups are made from scratch. Nothing pre-bottled here.

Very nice place! Went there to study and work on some homework. The bankers and batista were both very helpful and cheerful. I just wish the batista told me that the flavoring I got in my drink was going to be an extra dollar. That was an unpleasant surprise. But otherwise it was amazing.

the cookies in the display case are misleading and confusing. when asking for a cookie from the display case, I was given a bagged pastry, which was not baked from the heart nor warm. This was very disheartening and did not meet my expectations. (i am also curious to know if these cookies are real or if they are plastic decoys).

So I had made the trip downtown to this lovely cafe with banking; which is so wonderful. It creates a calm, relaxing atmosphere while handling your financials. Vivenne greeted me at the atm, and even though I did not use but the atm; she was very welcoming, insightful and warm. Really appreciated her introduction and time to assist me. 😉

Nice cafe alternative to Starbucks. Good coffee choices and great views to work in when I want to get out of the house and work remote. The downside is the atms are not accessible after the cafe closes anymore, they used to be as they are separate from the cafe.

I almost don’t want to leave a review and keep this place a secret. This place is incredible. I was able to grab a nook for a three hour seminar. The staff is warm and welcoming, and the cafe items on par with S- - - - - - - s. I think I found my new goto spot!

I visited for the first time and was immediately greeted by the awesome, friendly staff at the front. Everything was nice and clean. The barista, Tim was patient and very helpful. I couldn’t decide on a coffee choice so he made me a drink and I loved it! He called it an upside down Carmel macchiato. I opened a Capital One checking account (SE Michigan customer) thinking this location was full-service like a bank. It's not. They don't have withdrawal slips to withdraw the cash you need and in the denominations you need it. I don't understand this. That's one of the purposes of a physical bank location. I don't need another coffee shop; I need a bank that can perform necessary banking functions.

This is THE Cafe in Detroit, MI when I think of banking and places associated with or named after financial institutions I always think cold, money hungry, calculating. I could not have been more wrong. In the hustle bustle of adult life in a big city Capital One Café is the perfect destination to have a wonderful cup of coffee, gather thoughts, meet new friends and be reminded life is more than mere work and money. Lanaye and Vivian E. couldn't be more warm and inviting. They make you feel at home. And with Tim is your barista, you are at home. I have NOTHING bad to say about this destination except I regret not being able to spend more time there. I was raised by depression era parents who instilled in me "cash is king", but my experience at Capital One Café has me ready to apply for all the credit without checking the interest rates. Beyond pleasant. It was heavenly.

First time visiting the Café and I was delighted in the great customer service provided by their Ambassador Raymond. Was very receptive about my needs and provided me just what I needed. As a Cap1 customer I was leery about not having a regular bank in my area, but this worked out terrific. Was able to get the cash I needed to buy a nice used boat because you know . . . private sellers want cash now . . . LOL. I thought I would have lost the deal without access to the cash I needed from my Cap1 Account, but low and behold enter Raymond. He saved the day and my deal.

Walked in this morning about 7:45am, no line. Tim made a wonderful Chai Tea Latte with almond milk. He even gave me a loyalty card. Zeeshan spoke with me about how business was going and also mentioned a few free services Capital One provides. A wonderful experience to have on a Monday Morning in 38 degree weather! not a full-service bank. As a long-time CapitalOne banker, i have loved the convenience of the app, and the $0 fees domestically and internationally.

I was extremely disappointed that I could not get help to deposit a check from a Canadian US Dollar Account. The app would not accept, nor the atms in the Cafe. The ambassador at the cafe had no idea how to help except to call customer service. When I called CapitalOne, the representative said all I could do was mail the check to a branch in MN. 👎👎

We received great customer service at Capital One Downtown Detroit on how to pay, deposit & withdraw with my Capital One Credit Card at the ATM, how to opening a new 360 Checking Bank Account with Capital One and how to use all the amenities of the Great Capital One Café.
The customer service with the representative Mr. Zeeshan provided today was Excellent. I planned to visit again very soon!

Excellent selection of Peet's coffee hot and cold beverages that will not confuse you. A lovely selection of hot, cold sandwiches and snacks. If you have a Capital One card, all the made-to-order hot and cold drinks are half off(a great deal). The staff are friendly and always greet you upon entrance, and if you have any questions about any Capital One product, they can help. If you need to pay your Capital One bill, you can do so 24 hours a day at their automated machines. I opened a children's saving account with their help, and it was easy to do so. The wifi is excellent and accessible, and the view of Woodward Ave and the Detroit skyline is magnificent. And they have outdoor seating in nice weather right on Woodward Ave.

I went to the Downtown Detroit Capital One Cafe today for the first time to use the ATM to make a cash deposit. There were three ATMs onsite, two in the front vestibule that offer 24-hour access and one tucked away discreetly in the back of the cafe. The ambassadors on shift were both friendly and eager to assist. While I was pressed for time today, on my next visit I will try some of the cafe's offerings
