I placed a mobile order at 10:40 today, it is 11:18 and I still have not received my order. This place is packed to the max and the barrista’s have horrible attitude. They have advised that they aren’t going in order, they make the drinks as they come out of the machine and if you haven’t gotten your order you “need to wait till I call your name.” Glad I didn’t have a meeting as I’ve been with quicken for 6 years. Won’t be coming back.

Stopped by this Starbucks location every morning for the last three days and witnessed an excellent team of baristas. They were all friendly and thoughtful. In fact, this morning, a customer spilled her coffee all over herself and the team quickly mobilized to clean up the spill and even made the customer another cup of coffee for free. Truly a class act and one of my favorite moments to witness in this area. Looking forward to stopping by again on my next visit.

I am pretty disappointed with my visit here. My order was not anything complex, but the cashier and barista did not seem to understand what was happening. A Venti Iced Hazelnut Latte Quad was my complete order.

The cashier was not aware of what I said. I repeated "Venti Iced Hazelnut Latte Quad" to her. She looked confused and then asked me how much hazelnut flavoring I wanted in it. I responded with whatever the standard amount is for a venti. She then repeated it back to me but only as a Venti Iced Hazelnut Latte. I mentioned to her that she was missing the "quad". She then looked puzzled, again. I then said to her I wanted four shots of espresso in the latte.

Mind you, this is not my first time ordering this drink from Starbucks, in general. This one from this specific location was overly sweet. I could not even taste the four shots of espresso because it was heavily masked by the sweetness.

Honestly, the staff here need to be better equipped with the jargon associated with coffee.

Bei uns in Österreich ist Starbucks eigentlich sehr gemütlich... aber bei meinem Besuch hier war ich echt geschockt. Ich musste ewig warten, bis ich bestellen konnte, obwohl niemand anders da war und ich wurde nicht mal begrüßt.
Das, was ich bestellen wollte, gabs nicht mehr.
Und als ich etwas anderes bestellt hab, bekam ich das falsche.
Während ich auf mein Getränk gewartet habe, wurde ich 2x von anderen "Kunden" gefragt, ob ich Drogen kaufen will!!
Und das wlan hat auch nicht gut funktioniert.

Unglaublich, wenn ich könnte, würde ich 0 Sterne vergeben.

Food: This location prints out the custom instructions for drinks but the Barista didn't follow what was printed on the cup including putting the wrong ingredient in the drink. The drinks were good but not what we ordered and paid for.
Service: They were polite taking our order but completely inattentive when we waited for 5 or 10 minutes right in front of them to ask for a cup of water.
Atmosphere: modern, sleek, artsy, and clean.

A good Starbucks location for grab-and-go coffee. While the seating options are limited, this appears to be by design to manage such a high traffic location. Staff was friendly and the drink turnaround time was on par with other locations. Centrally located near Campus Martius and would gladly grab coffee at this location again.

They do not follow instructions for mobile orders. Did not use the right milk for my latte and it’s just a waste of money to pay extra for customization. Quality depends on who is making the drinks. It’s a shame.

Ordered two drinks with no line, we waited about 20 min. Then when my wife received her latte with no foam it was full of foam. Took it back to get it fixed and then had to wait another 10 min. Just poor customer service and not paying attention. While waiting multiple people came up with wrong orders, just not paying attention to what was on the ticket.

Hello, I come in here a lot During my shift at work just to grab a quick breakfast On the go . The cashier tells me “ you know if you grab bagels at the grocery store it’ll be cheaper “ first off that was very rude . I can’t go grocery store while I’m at work . & also today was by far the WORST . They’ve ever been . I ordered a Croissant with ham and cheese . There wasn’t any in there & it was burnt. So I went back to get my order the correct way . They claimed they didn’t have any more food . Or anything to put the food in the oven with . Okay fine , just give me a refund. She turns around to her co worker and asks “ Can they get a refund for that ?” I get the refund ask what they want me to do with the croissant they said I can throw it away . I placed a mobile order at least 10 minutes prior to heading to the store. Waited about 15 minutes before going to the counter to ask if my Chocolate Brownie mobile order was received. The barista had placed it on the side of the oven and forgot about it. It was busy but not too busy. The same barista was handing customers their mobile orders but for some reason forgot about my order.

This location tends to lack in consistent, good customer service unlike the Congress Street location, which is located about 3 blocks away. I try avoiding this location for this reason.

terrible experience. ALL employees were pressed for no reason at all. the wait wasn’t a problem; however, if i’m paying almost 6 dollars for two coffees i expect them to be decent. they forgot my espresso AND flavoring in my latte. the other latte had flavoring and espresso but it was watered down for some reason. same things for the hot chocolate another costumer ordered. people were standing to look for their mobile orders and an employee raised their voice because they were there for too long. absolutely ridiculous. as a former barista, there’s no need for such a rude attitude. do better.

Always 40 minutes behind in their order. They are unorganized when it comes to who orders first. You can try to order in advance to give it time and they still take an extra 30 minutes. They forget orders. They need a better process and help. It’s terrible.

This location is average, compared to a lot of other stores. They fairly slow, but given the amount of customers that are usually there, I’d say they do a fair job with getting people in and out. My biggest complaint with this location is that I could go 5 times and order the exact same thing and get a drink that’s different every time. Very frustrating, especially when paying for extra components of the drink and not getting them. Just today, I ordered an vanilla sweet cream CB with an extra pump of vanilla. There were 0 pumps of vanilla, so I didn’t get what the drink was supposed to come with or the extra that I paid for.

Under NO circumstances should ANYONE with any allergies or food concerns go to this location. This evening, we went to the Tree lighting and stopped in to get my daughters favorite White Hot chocolate with Soy! She specifically stated SOY! Once we received the drink, my daughter took one sip and realized it wasn’t soy, as she’s allergic to dairy and they used milk.

Realizing it wasn’t correct because she immediately starting itching from the reaction, She asked for another drink, made correctly with Soy, and explained she had allergies. The barista who had no name tag, on but was tall slender with tattoos on both arms, took her drink, set it behind the counter. Literally waited 5 minutes and handed her the same drink topped with whip cream.

Let me begin by saying POOR management! There is NO way that my daughter should have needed her Epi pen after our visit. I’m highly disappointed and utterly disturbed by such reckless behavior. We will NOT return, and I suggest that if you or your children have any special dietary needs, that you visit a location that values their customers! Only giving 1 star because 0 isn’t available. Not clean! Poor customer service! Unfriendly staff! Rude and unprofessional! 0Stars.

This is a prime location for a Starbucks in the busiest zone of Detroit. While it is not a Reserve Starbucks, it has everything you need to get your day going, no matter what part of the day it is. It has a great view of the park and is always full of people. Due to all of this, it is important to be patient at this one as the lines can get big. It also has a good selection of retail(I might even say one of the more varied selections). Due to the fact that there is natural slipperyness of the smooth pavement outside, the floor can be a little more slippier when there is snow or rain so just watch out as well for that.

I ordered an iced chia latte with Carmel syrup I got a hot chia latte without any syrup when I took it back they just poured the hot one into a plastic cup and put some ice in it making it lukewarm. Their bathrooms were also littered with toilet paper. I am not happy with my experience at this location

I'm not a coffee drinker but my kids enjoy it and I wanted a cup of hot chocolate so we ventured in here on a cold December evening while hanging out downtown. Place was comfortable, well placed, enough space and product placed well. Clean and modern looking. I wasn't a fan of the hot chocolate, but it wasn't bad.. just didn't do much for me. Everyone else liked their orders. The Barista's were not very friendly, or concerned about being quick or courteous but they did do what was expected, albeit at their own pace/time.

Per customer service, this is a franchises location and the owner can determine if they will redeem the rewards. Pay for the Starbucks name but doesn't follow the Starbucks rules.. disappointed. The workers here were so rude. I was trying to go inside to get a coffee with my daughter. There was a sign taped to the door saying that they were closing early today at 6pm, the door was locked. There were some people walking out, so I walked in. The girl behind the counter was yelling "I'm sorry we are closed." I said "yes it says you close at 6pm, it is not 6pm." All the girl kept saying was "we are closed". So I left and will never go to this location again.
