The service is quick, the food is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. We went with four adults and three children. They have a great menu for everybody. Great wings, pizza, burgers, and onion rings. The ambiance is retro, very accommodating, and fun. I'd definitely recommend Serum's in Anoka!

I had gotten the lemon pepper and spicy szechuan wings with their 12pc option. I've had better lemon pepper wings as when I tried these, I couldn't even tell they were a lemon pepper flavor. The spicy szechuan wings were very good. I'll come back to try their many different wing rubs and sauces. Their chips and queso were also a hit - I would order these again. I recommend sitting on their outdoor seating on a nice day!

I'd been here before but it was a long time ago. A colleague mentioned the wings were so good so we came just for that.

Sadly I was not impressed. Just a matter of preference I suppose. I like my wings SUPER crispy - no rubbery skin for me please. I asked for well done. What I got was very well done in spots with rubbery skin everywhere else and very little sauce. Decent enough flavor but I probably wouldn't order them next time. Everything else was fantastic - ambiance, service - absolutely my kind of place.

There is a free parking ramp behind the bar which is awesome because there are 2 other bars right there and the street parking fills up fast during prime time.

Great experience! I’ve been here a few times and it’s always been a lot of fun. I really like the rooftop area. I ordered the potato skins as well as wings and everything was delicious. I would definitely return.

Not so great experience been here more times than I can count get the 25 wing simpler every time, but today the wings look like they wanted to fly away all the feathers attached the Wings were all under cooked rubbriskin not crisp at all spoke to the server. She was really nice and explained how they fried them 1st, then sauce and put them in the oven and heat 2 order. She offered to return them to the oven to crisp them up her words. Reluctantly, I agreed, and when she returned the platter, all the wings were burnt

Wings!!!!!! All I get from Serums are wings and fries! The Gold Rush are the best sauced wings in my opinion.

If you are a ranch and blue cheese dip person you will have to ask for extra because they give one sauce no matter the amount of wings.

The customer service is about average from the bar. From my experience there is nothing extra that they do to make you feel good about the service.

A little disappointed to be honest, especially after hearing great things about this place. I ordered 18 wings in three different flavors. When I got home, I learned they gave me one flavor for all my wings. The wings were dry and flavorless. I will say, when I called and told them this, they said to come back in for 18 more wings, which was nice. Except my next 18 wings were also dry and barely had any sauce to taste. I can t say I d return. But the inside of the bar seemed nice and the staff was kind.

Increased their prices several years ago when winds were scarce and never lowered them again. Have to ask for extra sauce to have any sauce on your gummy baked wings which theyll happily charge you extra for.

WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER. J-ME was on the receipt. 10/19 Waitress was rude called us liars after our food came out wrong, she said she wouldn t replace the food for free. Snatched the food mumbling under her breath. Asked for the manager - didn t get to speak to anyone since they didn t know who the manager is other than the bartender ?? The other food we ordered was good but unfortunately after her trying to apologize while still arguing with us we will never be back.

The place has changed so much since I last reviewed it. I absolutely love this place the vibe is great the workers are some of the best people Ive ever met and they always make me feel welcome . Tonight 10/12/24 a Female waiter was incredibly rude waiting over in hour to even receive a drink after finding a seat. Looked at our table countless times completely ignoring our party. And after I proceeded to ask for a manager they refused to give me the manager and the waiter came over and started arguing with me about why she doesn t wanna serve me due to my inpatients (after waiting an hour) will never bother to visit this place again due to the incredibly rude staff

We frequently go here for wings and pizza. Their meatballs and cheese bread are DELICIOUS! The mini donuts we also fantastic. Service is usually very good. The last server we had was fantastic. The atmosphere is very relaxed and not extremely clean, but clean enough. There is often a line to get into the ladies bathroom because they only have single toilets, 1 upstairs and 1 downstairs. If they ever do a remodel they could use a larger bathroom for the ladies.

One of my favorite places to go in Anoka. On several occasions I have asked if they had strawberry margaritas and the answer was always no. On my most recent visit I noticed they had raspberry margaritas and I mentioned to the waitress that I didnt know that. Her reply to me was you didnt ask. Really? Most wait staff would let you know there was another flavor. I feel it is part of the job. Anyway, I ordered the raspberry Margarita and I have to say it was the worst one Ive ever had in my life. Very sour and by the color and taste you could not tell it was supposed to be raspberry. The cost was $8.00. I do love their wings but I will never order another Margarita. Recently I tried another raspberry margarita and I could not drink it it was just terrible but the waitress let me change it for a different drink altogether. I tried the onion rings and they were totally flavorless. I brought my leftovers home and reheated them in the oven and they came out nice and crispy but still had no flavor. Serums is probably my favorite place to eat. I just wont order onion rings or raspberry margaritas there.

Fun little bar and grill with really good food. Only reason Im giving 4 stars for service is because our server stopped paying attention to us after talking to some friends of hers at another table that was diagonal from where we were sitting for like 10 mins. That wasnt as big of a deal, but then it took like 15 minutes for her to run our card after we had already been waiting over 10 mins, and that was after the main rush of people. She was a great server otherwise. We will definitely be going back!

For real, some of the best wings you ll get in MN. Colorado Copper was the best flavor. Ask for your check right away you won t see your server again. Never got our drinks and had to go up to the bar to have someone give us our check. Our server had to leave mid shift and that s totally fine but no one ever came after that. Waited for 45 mins after we finished our food before I had to go up and have someone attend to us.

Everything was so DRY- burgers, wings, deep dish cookies and the potato skins we got were burnt. Onion rings were raw. The wings arent even good. If youre from the TC, dont waste the drive and get your food elsewhere.

Super disappointed today. We drove an hour to eat here, got there at 1:00 and waited until 2:30 to just get up and leave as our food never came and multiple people were being sat after us and got their food before us. We are regulars there, with our commute being so long it was really upsetting to just hear our waitress then say ok I ll just cancel your food like it was no big deal and we didn t matter.

An Anoka staple. Love the authentic vintage nature of the building. If you sit in the right place you can maybe get a glimpse of the lady in the window across the street at the Jackson Hotel! Okay maybe that s an urban legend Staff is friendly and attentive. Food is good and well priced. Ask for sides of sauce for wings to take it to the next level.

2024 update: I still believe in everything said below, manage your own expectations... Some things have changed since covid, no more pulltabs on the floor... Staff is improved, wings are still great and its STILL A DIVE! I love serums.. honestly I do. I get that people hate the dive bar feel, but then, like, dont go there. duh. Its a dive, its dirty, grungy, and the staff is hit or miss. Dont go into a place like this and expect 5-star dining and service... rate it based on what it is. The wings are great, tons of sauces to pick from, even offer a 25 wing sampler where you can get 5 different sauces. The place is always busy, there are pull tabs littering the floor, free popcorn that they stay on top of even in their busy times. Its a true Anoka gem and anyone who rates it low based on the service is just silly. Hell, even the pull tab lady is grumpy... deal with it!

It was just ok. Waitress was super short & seemed like she was extremely impatient. I understand its a rush type job but at the same time dont put that on your customers. The seats are worn out & you feel like your going to fall in. The food was decent. Chicken & hamburger both on the dry side.

Love that they have a pet friendly patio and even provided water for my furry baby. However, the service was very slow. We ordered wings and a pizza. By the time we got the food, the wings were hot, but the pizza was cold. We also tried one of their drinks which was extremely sweet and had to return it. Nonetheless, we still got charged for it. All in all, I m glad we tried it, but it s not a place I m looking forward to going back to. Parking: The city free 3 hour parking is right beside the restaurant, so that is super convenient.

Average at best. We got the 25 wing sampler, it was nothing Id go out of my way for. I think Id actually prefer Wingstop. The flavor was good, but there wasnt much of it. If I dipped them in ranch I could hardly taste the seasoning anymore. The wings were also rubbery and dry, and we found a hair halfway thru our meal. The restaurant wasnt super busy, but our waitress hardly checked in on us. Ive heard many people rave about this place... thought it might be better to come during the week instead of on the weekend when theyre packed. Not sure what all the hype is about, and not sure Ill be back. Disappointed for sure.

Great food but the waitress and what I think was the manager/owner treated us and our kids terribly. We were a large hockey group and with it being seat yourself we were all over the place. When kids are trying to leave why are they being yelled at for standing up near the tables? Made no sense to me. Hope it was just a fluke on the treatment.

The pull tabs lady (blonde) was the rudest person I ve ever encountered in a service industry position. I didn t even feel comfortable going back to her today to retrieve the money that I won. Servers and bartenders were great even though it was pretty busy, and the food was great. :)
